Okay, I've seen many complaints in the past regarding talking on cell phones and driving.  That's nothing compared to what I've seen quite often recently - people actually texting on their phones while trying to drive!  Frankly, that is FAR more distracting and dangerous than talking on the phone.  What the heck is wrong with people?  I would just LOVE to stop someone like that, pull the phone from their hands, and shove it in their ear!

Pull over if you must text, but please, quit doing it while your car is in motion!  You're endangering other drivers on the road!

I can't stand driving anymore. It just seems to me that no matter where I go I get stuck behind someone on the phone or texting. Just yesterday I was behind a woman who was driving down Ridge road and I couldn't pass her because she was in in both lanes. She was going 10mph under the speed limit and was reading from a file folder. Had I not got stopped by the traffic light, I may have stomped her cell phone to death.
While we are on this subject, people who use their phones while shopping or waiting in offices for appointments, STOP IT. I am SURE that I speak for many when I say that no one wants to hear your business. Really. No one. So shut up and hang up!

Have we, as a people, become so lame that we can't even buy a can of peas in the grocery store without calling someone to check if it's the right size can? (An actual phone conversation I overheard at a grocery store).
Lord, help us all!!!!!

Not as bad as the people who drive and put on make-up. Come on now, if you're that lazy to where you can't get up 10 minutes earlier to put it on, maybe you shouldn't wear it at all. Have also seen people driving with their FEET! There are people watching movies and looking at the news on their phone while they're driving. It's getting to the point where walking is safer than driving.

Sorry to say, but I believe texting on your cell phone while driving is way more dangerous than anything! Do you know how many people I see on the road doing this and their cars are all over the road because they don't pay attention?

What's the point of texting, anyhow? Isn't it quicker to just dial the number, say what you have to say, and hang up? Kids today certainly don't know how to hold REAL conversations, that's for sure!

Here's a great one for you all. My husband drives a tractor trailer for a Cleveland landscape supply company. He had to take another driver w/ him one day last week because he needed to hone his driving skills. My husband tells me that this guy is texting while driving a semi!!!! My husband told him to pull over and let him drive if he wanted to text on his phone while driving. And it was NOT important!!! It scares the daylights out of me when the company lets this guy drive on his own. Now he was reported to the boss, sure, but who is gonna stop this guy from this behavior when he is alone in another semi??? It's terrible enough when people text & drive in a car, let alone a 25-ton semi.
