LOST A FRIEND, & A PET!

DEBBY & I GOT BACK FROM LAS VEGAS LAST WEEK.  WELL WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TWO DAYS, I WOULD HAVE NEVER IMAGINED.

AS MANY OF YOU KNOW WE HAVE 2 FEMALE DOGS AN 11 YEAR OLD CHIUAUAIUA, AND A 12 YEAR OLD YORKIE. THEY WERE SIDE BY SIDE FOR 10 YEARS.  WHILE WE WERE GONE THE YORKIE FELL ILL, AND BEGAN VOMITTING & APPEARED TO HAVE LOST WEIGHT.

WELL YESTERDAY DEB TOOK HER TO THE VET & SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A TERMINAL KIDNEY DISEASE, AND WAS SUFFERING INSIDE INTERNALLY EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS QUITE PLAYFUL & SPRY.  THE VET HAD SAID HE DID NOT SEE HER MAKING THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR.

SO AFTER MUCH DEBATE LAST NIGHT & TODAY, WE HADE HER EUTHANIZED.  ONE OF THE HARDER THINGS I HAVE HAD TO DO.  I HAVE NOT CRIED LIKE THIS IN LONG TIME, AND DEBBY IS TAKING THIS VERY HARD.

SO PLEASE KEEP US IN YOUR THOUGHTS TONIGHT.

I can image how you feel. Having pet's that long. We had a stray beagle come in here that we all fell in love with. Told hubby if he wanted her she had to go to vet and get checkedout and spade. The dog was only around here for a month. Our daughter took her to the vet and she had heartworm's really bad.Had to have her put to sleep.That really hurt Truman as he don't get attached to animal's at all. So I can imagine how you all feel.
Sorry for your loss and your heavy heart's right now.

so sorry for your loss Rob...will keep you both in my prayers. I have had to have a few pets put to sleep before...it is not an easy thing to do, and I have cried buckets of tears!

Rob I feel your loss...... Members of the family and best friends always...... Keep them in your hearts and they will live forever...... Our last dog was 14 when we lost him....... Never a day that he is not in our thoughts.......

I know I have been kind of hit or miss lately, but with summer here Deb and I are traveling a bit, and this this tragedy took us completely off guard.
