My name is Christina Glasper. I have a 6 month old son ,name Czarray Smith. The DCFS said that my son would remain in my custody until our hearing. It was up to me if I wanted to allow the dad to visit with his son. I chose to let him have a visit on 6-24-09, at 1:00pm. We meet at the county building on 8300 S. Vermont. I told him he could visit while I go inside and drop off some papers. When I came out, my baby was gone, and so was the dad. I have called and called, but he has yet to answer my calls. I called the police, at different time since that day, and all they keep telling me, is that there is nothing they can do. I have not been away from my son since he was born. I really miss my son, and I don't know what else to do. Can somebody have some kind of compassion for me, as a mother and help me get my son back. PLEASE I NEED MY SON!!!

Shahan Khan, 17, a junior at El Segundo High School, has launched GPA Software, an Internet program that helps teachers track grades, attendance and lessons. Parents and students can download homework and report cards. (Steve McCrank / Staff Photographer)
Sure, plenty of teenagers spend hours holed up in their rooms, tapping away on their laptops, bathing in the glow of their computer screens.
But while most high school students are updating their Facebook status, sending Twitter messages or uploading homemade videos, El Segundo resident Shahan Khan is tinkering, toiling and tweaking.
Such is the life of a 17-year-old chief executive officer of a software company.
"During the weekdays, it's about half an hour a day," Shahan said. "On the weekend, it's about six or seven."
The self-taught computer guru in March launched GPA Software, an Internet-based system he created and manages that helps teachers, students and parents stay connected.
The classroom management software allows teachers to post grades, track attendance and plan lessons. In turn, parents and students can log on to the site and download report cards and homework assignments.
Now wrapping up his junior year at El Segundo High School, Shahan started working on his software idea as a seventh-grader, shortly after he wrote a software program that earned him an award at the Los Angeles County Science Fair.
When he heard some teachers complain about the software they used, Shahan got an idea to make something more user-friendly.
"I decided teachers need a program that's really easy to use," he said. "That's what inspired me to make it."
With the help of online marketing and convention appearances, about 100 clients have already signed up for GPA Software, Shahan said.
And he hopes more users roll in because Shahan plans to use the revenue to cover his college tuition to either Harvard or Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Though Shahan plans to pursue a career in software development, he has other interests, such as running, playing basketball and spending time with friends, who are supportive of his budding career.
"Some are interested in technology," he said. "I know a couple of people are trying to get me into a robotics club, but I think that would distract me from the company."

How did these guys get from Point A to Point B? That's the theme of this morning's Hot Links:
1. Last year, Susan Hyde lost her paramedic's certification and her kids because she subjected them to dozens of medical treatments they apparently didn't need. This year, Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie hired her as a patient care assistant, according to Dallas Morning News reporter Jon Nielsen. How and why did this happen? Hospital officials won't say. One possibility is that a background check focused only on criminal records -- and Hyde doesn't have one.
2. "We make it easy to get out of debt," brags the Debt Relief USA Web site. Now the Addison company has filed for bankruptcy, The News' Pamela Yip reports.
Do you have a tip about background checks? Bankruptcy? Another subject? Send me an e-mail and let me know.

Growing up in the 1980's, I watched MTV all the time. And among the most memorable videos I rememer was the epic "Thriller". Around that same time, I watched "Motown 25" and became a fan of Michael Jackson. I was an avid fan throughout the tough times and the news reports. There's no escaping his talent and his impact on the world.
Sadly, he is no longer with us.
I was working on my radio shows when I heard he was rushed to the hospital suffering from cardiac arrest. I immediately started praying for Michael to make it. Then I watched the news where they said those words...."Michael Jackson has passed away". I was beyond shocked. It still shocks me to hear it.
I was looking forward to him making a comeback and returning to the music world.
right now, I am at a loss for words. Two losses of two icons in one day...Farrah Fawcett and now Michael Jackson. Why?

Rest in pease, Farrah. We all miss you.

You know, it's no wonder the American auto makers are in trouble. We're probably the only country in the world that allowed imported cars to sell cheaper than domestics. Have you ever priced an American car in another country?
Since we bought Volkswagens, and then Toyotas, etc., we shot ourselves in the foot. Now, of course, we taxpayers are expected to bailout these companies because we saved so much money since our government would not place high tariffs on imports to prevent the domestic economy from collapsing.
Add to that the labor unions overpricing American labor, and what have you got? Corporations farming out labor to India, Mexico, China, etc.
American cars have improved their quality to keep up with the other countries, but, since there are so many self-centered, self-serving people in this country, we are in the mess we're in now.
Oh, and wait until you have to buy parts and service!
I had to laugh one day. I was following a Cadillac that had a license frame on it stating, in so many words: "Made in America for me". The truth is, no car made in America, or anything for that matter, is 100% made in America. The parts come from all over the world.
And the carbon footprint made by the manufacture of a Prius is staggering.
I said earlier that the media's candidate winning the presidency was hopefully not a bad thing.
How does everybody feel now?

Greetings! I wanted to post on a February discussion of (yours on) how smart people believe in evolution, but it seems too dated. Hope you don't mind my coming aboard here.
In my own experience, I trusted smart people and school but when I was 19 and in college, I learned that schools were not being totally honest and forthcoming with me. They had neglected to inform me of a path to liberation (found in Raja Yoga) and they had neglected to inform me about theosophy and the works of H.P. Blavatsky. For this I paid the price. I dropped out and continued my studies at the National Headquarters of The Theosophical Society. When satisfied with the amount of reading and attending lectures I could do there, I finished my degree.
Meanwhile, I had found a second group called The Saint Germain Foundation with even newer material (that kept its distance from the mainstream population). When I could, I followed these additional studies which could occur within range of Mt. Shasta, California. It was during the simultaneous practice of "I AM" Temple (SGF) classes and study groups in theosophy (especially Second Volume of THE SECRET DOCTRINE) that I had an epiphany in thought.
Now, I spend my time (reluctantly) away from either group's "adventures" posting on the internet wherever I can find an audience about a new theory of evolution (see webpage).
When people say they believe in evolution, they aren't lying, but what are the details of evolution? I can show you a picture of evolution occurring in a manner that is consistent with religion. (Search girasas for further reading.) I can show how the past records only focus on humanity's descent into form "through" animals (which are subsequently ascended). I invite you to consider that while evolving animals (all of them) have ascended, we are living in a world with myriads of animal and plant forms that ARE NOT EVOLVING at this time, but being ensouled be angelic kingdoms are rather involving. The angels accompany each evolving kingdom and make a "virtual" world of sorts for us. This "virtual" world shows a progression of forms, but the life within this progression covers an entire range that the evolving kingdom itself does not possess. Our human memories include all forms in the past inhabited by us.
A new kingdom, which I named girasas, is now descending into humans and "ascending" us out of our bodies and off the earth. It will take approx. 16 million years and the next race (we are the 5th) will not begin for another 400,000 years, but now we are influenced by this higher kingdom and involved in our evolutionary process. They bring angels with them who we will possess and use on our next descent through animals (the process occurs 49 times before humans progress to girasas level and animals progress to human level, etc.) During our last round we lived on a watery Earth globe. In this round evolution is occurring on land and in the next, a new state of matter will be introduced until 7 are reached.
Since I had this epiphany, I have struggled with knowing that another kingdom is bent upon occupying the same form that I occupy and that they will continue to gain in their hold upon the apparatus, mind included. We are asked to love them. It is a sort of love, but I love people too. There is a huge gap in our capabilities and processes. I live with a space between myself and what the girasas kingdom is. I might occasionally venture to cross that space, but it is a dangerous and unpleasant proposition, only one I would choose if conditions on earth warrant it.
I hope you will consider that many people have access to this higher kingdom within their own constitutions and that they are not unintelligent because they work "jointly" in acquiring further knowledge. We can benefit by new words and new methods of inquiry. We should investigate how to best make use of these newcomers on our planet and learn as much as we can about our futures and our pasts in radical new ways.

Term paper writing is a laborious process that requires the full attention of a student. To complete this writing assignment, a student needs to concentrate and organize his or her thoughts. Adopting a good strategy is essential to achieving success in the writing process.
Compared to a book report and a reaction paper, a term paper requirement is a comprehensive discussion of an idea. The writing itself would take a considerable time, with the author focusing on different details such as bibliography, grammar and quotations. With these in mind, a student must secure all the help to develop a well-written essay.
Understanding the format and style of a term paper is the first step. Here are some of the basic things a student must apply in writing a paper:
1. Quotations
The writer of a term paper must carefully select the quotations for inclusion in the essay. This way, the quotes would match the entire text, creating a cohesion that would make other writers envious at the same time get the attention of the professor. A good length of a quote is less than four lines. The writer should use traditional quotation marks.
2. Citations
In citing sources in a term paper, it is best to know the professor’s preference. According to the MLA, the easiest format is to use parentheses in citing the author and page number. The writer must place a bibliography that includes full citations at the end of paper when using in-text citations.
The use of footnotes at the bottom of the page is another example. It is important to cite a source in its entirety when using footnotes for the first time. Afterwards, the same source can be cited by inputting the author’s last name and page name.
Endnotes are the same as
footnotes except that the former are placed on a separate page at the end of a paper.
With these simple formats, a student can avoid the pitfalls in citing sources for a term paper. Thus, saving valuable time that otherwise should be used in collating and writing the essay or research paper. These tips also help a student overcome the challenges common in creating a comprehensive, well-researched and well-written essay.

Octo-mom has no conscience. She is taking full advantage of the kind hearts that are donating money time and love to her 14 children and her parents are no better they complained to the media about her stupid decision to have more children and now that they are getting a piece of the pie you don't hear a word from them. Nadia shouldnever have been able to keeps those babies . From the little I have seen she takes no part ion the first 6 childrens careand from that I can deduce that she won't take part in the care of the other 8. This woman needs psychological counseling and no im not saying that Dr. Phil needs to see her I mean a licensed doctor who will actually check the mental status of this woman. Dr. Phil only does enough to cover a show and ratings a real doctor will do what is right. (I hope) these children (all 14) need a stable parent and obviously octo-pimp isn't it. I hope that when she made those deals for the shows she is doing that the IS going to the children as she stated on Dr. Phils show because as far as I can see she is shopping an awful lot for someone with no money. There should be a law against what she is doing because there doesn't seem to be anything in writing to protect these children from her selfishness. The ANGELS IN WAITING team is doing all the mothering and receiving nothing but disrespect from her and her family. And Gloris Allred has been disrespected too , these people have devoted their lives to helping an ungrateful woman who should have to pay restitution to the hardworking and loving people who have given free help and to the public who have donated money and gifts that no matter what tax bracket your in is tough to give up because none of us knows where our next meal is coming from or if we will be able to keep our homes. Nadia doesn't think about what people are sacrificing as long as she can SHOP! I do feel for the children but our laws need to step in and control her circus that she has created with the birth of these children.

Call it luck or just the luck of the draw in terms of assignments, but up until this week i've managed to avoid being on the ''Octomom" beat... this week i was there twice, at the new house in La Habra, but unfortuantley i never got a glimpse of the actual Octomom herself... my ''stakeout '' shift ended before she came home with 2 of the babies. I did however, see all kinds of baby proofers, painters, carpenters, landscapers, mural drawers, and other assorted support personnel.... and of course my friends in the media. It's just an unreal 'perfect storm' of public interest in the bizarre and unusual, tabloid shot feeding frenzy, and people who apparently have too much time on their hands and have the ability to go hang out for hours on end in the hopes that some free lance journalist with a home video camera shooting for a web site in Albania will ask them what they think about all this . What do i think ? let me quote my close personal friend Harvey Levin, King of all Pop Culture , who simply said " Octomom's crazy, the people love crazy." Well said Harvey.

Certainly when millions of jobs are sent from one country to another, the economic ramifications are guaranteed. “And then they came for me” by Lasantha Wickrematunga inspired me to write:

Brothers Gilbert and Demetrius Bazan opened the doors to their new restaurant, Carnivale Café, with a louder-than-expected bang January 20 th www.usaservice.org! www.ABCnews.com caught a whiff of this and suddenly the brothers Bazan were playing ringmaster to a media circus as their "little door game" became quite a political lightning bolt!
Fighting the odds in a down economy, the Bazans have employed seven people and are determined to lift the spirits of their community! Carnivale Café offers delicious, healthy, "carnival-themed" snacks, treats and bar-b-que at some of the most affordable prices in town!
They coordinated its launch with President Obama’s inauguration. Offering a free "George Bush Shoe Toss" with every purchase, the event made a direct hit on … of all places …on General Collin Powell’s new website,
The Webmaster was compiling a list of ways to ring in the new presidency and be of service to the country … and the "Bush Shoe Toss" made the list!
So much so, that Powell removed the listing from the site as not to endorse "Bush Bashing." However, you will see a framed picture of Barack Obama hung proudly on the wall as soon as you walk through the doors. Not a bad way to start a new business venture, fellas!
Starting as Carnivale Kettle Corn several years ago, Gilbert Bazan built a loyal and enthusiastic clientele at festivals and corporate events on weekends and holidays. Now, he’s building on that to make his American Dream come true: "G. BAZAN QUOTE HERE" … coming soon, Carnivale Kettle Corn via the Internet delivered right to your door!
Put a little Carnivale into your day and experience it for yourself.
For more information contact Gilbert Bazan at 850 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90029; (323) 664-CAFÉ (2233) Hours: 8am- 8 pm

I RAN ACROSS THIS INTERESTING IDEA WHILE CHECKING OUT MY E-MAILS. I THOUGHT I WOULD PASS IT ON AND MAYBE GET SOME OPINIONS ON THE SUBJECT OF THE URINE TEST.
THE JOB - URINE TEST
(It would sure be nice to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!)
I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their [...], doing drugs, while I work. .. . .. Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

The Bella Vita and TAABOO are hosting a Walk at Pierce College in Woodland Hills on Sunday March 1 @ 1:00pm to help raise money for research, awareness and treatment of Eating Disorders. This is important because nearly 10 million females and 1 million males across the United States are struggling with the active, destructive eating disorders anorexia and bulimia. Another 25 million suffer from binge eating disorder.
For females between fifteen to twenty-four years old who suffer from anorexia nervosa, the mortality rate associated with the illness is twelve times higher than the death rate of ALL other causes of death.
Eating disorders affect people from all walks of life, including young children, middle-aged women and men and individuals of all races and ethnicities.
Although eating disorders are potentially lethal, they are treatable.

I find it very interesting that I am the ignored one, never given much of any benefit of the doubt
no not me!
How come I am not the person that any want to hear from or about much...
Yet, 98% of all my ideas get "Barrowed"?!
Years ago I explained to Jillian her lies about.... could not pass me.
Or even about the waters receding after 2012.
Today I am one of the poorest Artist around with (let's face it I have all the great Ideas).
Not even do I get the inspiration for anything!
Yes it is all part of how I planed it, remember the parable about throwing a party for the rich vs. the poor.
I am to party the poor due to not being enabled to repay me so the Lord will!!
See the rich, like Hollywood, could at anytime repay my works.
But I know how the 7-sins work!
Ha ha la ha A.

What a group of Crack-Heads! and I do not mean drug consumption.
It went like this:
America Used to stand for strong brave and honest beliefs. For example, we used to make things to last.
Now we are in a "Disposal" way of building so "THINGS FALL APART" and they expect us to just shallow it like went Los Angeles's street cars and things were bought up and destroyed.
Force is the word of the Disposal conceptions....
Funny now they are bankrupt and one may speculate they change?
Nope, one is still forced into homes, cars, and THINGS...(in ridiculous ways)
For example, while "I" was in High School a teacher had this great wrist watch bands, "Unbreakable" so what happened to a comfortable wrist band that never really required "replacement"?
That is correct destroyed and not available
GOOD LUCK AMERICA!

The Axis Of Evil Begins Its "NEW" Amnesty Program!!!
With millions of hard-working, tax-paying Americans out of work, Obama, Reid and Pelosi thought you'd be too busy worrying about the recession to notice their "NEW AMNESTY PLAN" for 30 million job stealing illegal aliens.
But guess what, I noticed, because I follow these things closely. George Bush managed to turn us into a third world nation by flooding it with illiterate peasants and the banks destroyed our economy by making bad home loans to illegals. And now, your Socialist hero Obama wants to give them amnesty.
Harry Reid already attempted to crush the e-Verify program, which would deny work to anyone without valid proof of citizenship. Thankfully the American people found out and stomped on his face until he gave up.
Now let's take a look at what the "NEW AMNESTY BILL" includes...
1) Legal status after 24 hours, even without a complete background check.
2) American taxpayers will pay for all the lawyers to represent illegal aliens.
3) PERMANENT temporary visas (which can be re-newed indefinitely).
4) Amnesty for gang members (at least 30,000 of them, probably much more)
All they have to do is say they don't want to be a gang member anymore.
5) You're going to help pay for Mexicans to stay in Mexico. Supposedly making life down there more tolerable to the illegal invaders, but of course it will all end up in the hands of drug cartels.
6) No back taxes. No matter how long they've lived here, how long they've work here and how many crimes they've committed again our country, they owe nothing.
7) Fast track to the North American Union. A borderless union that would erase all borders and sovereignty between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.
8) Border fencing provisions cut from 800 miles to just 200.
9) In-state tuition for all illegal aliens (denied to millions of American citizens)
10) Illegal aliens will be the first new citizens, ahead of all law abiding immigrants who have spent years in their own countries waiting to become citizens and going to all of the legal steps to get here.
11) Amnesty for all illegals who were ordered to be deported. That one includes Obama's aunt.
12) Learning English is not a requirement until the ninth year of amnesty.
13) All illegals will be eligible for the earned income tax credit.
--------------------------------------
Hope you all enjoyed this little taste of what's to come for this once great nation.

Police racial profiling in San Bernardino, California and everywhere across the United States has been going on a longtime, and is getting worse!. Yestarday my brother inlaw who is a married working father with 3 kids who has never been in any trouble, has no tattoos, an is far from being a gang member was brutely beat by at least 8 police officers after getting off work, and driving to pick up some job applications for his wife who's a working mother, but her job is going out of business soon. Anyway the police pulled him over because he had a GREEN TREE CAR AIR FRESHNER hanging in his rearview mirror ( IMAGINE THAT!!??) He drives a 2007 bright silver metallic dodge charger on 22 inch rims, and is African American, so i guess they thought he was a drug dealer or gang member as if African Americans can't have anything nice with out being stero typed as drug dealers or gang members. I'm so sick of this world and the things that are done to African American people on a daily basis, and no police officers are being held accountable for the crimes they commit against others. My brother inlaw begged and pleaded for his life, saying repeatedly he is a working father with kids, and he did nothing wrong, they told him to shut the [...] up and continued to beat him, and tear his car apart looking to see if he had drugs in his car, and as more officers arrived on the scene they all joined in on the beating as people on the streets watched this crying out asking officals to stop hitting him and doing him like that while listening to my brother inlaw beg and plead for his life!! Now he is sitting in jail after being beat for No Reason, but being a African American man. Lastly the officer who booked him in to custody after taking him to the hospital is now saying he is in custody for assulting a officer to cover their behind for racial profiling and beating a innocent African American man on his way home from work.
Ps: They found nothing on him or in his car! NOTHING AT ALL..
Something Has To Be DONE!
I shouldn't have to feel Hatred for all police officers because theirs a lot of bad cops who still have jobs, and families to go home to after they commit crimes, and dont get punished for them. POLICE are supposed to PROTECT AND SERVE! and Clearly that is not what is happening .
They have no clue that the man they brutely beat was applying to become a police officer his self and had already had taken his test and was waiting on results. uhmph mmm mmmm this is a sad and pathetic world we live in.
OBAMA PLEASE HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM PLEASE!
we are losing lives because of ignorance of police officers.

In todays High Desert Daily Press newspaper it states ...
"On 'Fire breaks out before Billy Ray Cyrus concert, ...
"This could only happen in the High Desert. "Extreme Makeover" will never come back here again.
High winds, pouring rains, fires - whats next? "
Of course there was more on the article but nothing explaining why they wont ever come back here to HELP?!?!
Isnt that why they are who they are to help?
And now if someone in the high desert needs help hey wont come back here?
Im not sure how you all feel but that hurts.Thats horrible. And I think they should be confronted of this aswell.
They dont have bad weather anywhere else in the U.S.
? Does that mean they should only help in Hawaii since the weather is always nice?
Is there something in the contract stating that they cant work in bad weather because a lot of Americans hurting for work and money seem to do it everyday without the acknowledgment of the public.
If you agree with me on this please pass it around. Its not fair to the rest of us who are hurting and what not, I think we should all be willing o help those in need no matter what it takes.

One Huntington Park Police officer made a mistake last night, that took my friend's life.
Due to the officer's poor judgement and quick trigger, my friend was mistaken for a robber and shot 3 times in the back.
After that traumatic event, my friend's family waited by his body until the coroner could pick him up, which in HP, is overnight!!
They waited one block away from their home in the middle of a street, where my friend lay dead.
That's right folks. He was killed one block away from his own home!
So not only is my friend dead now but he is being dismissed as "an alleged robbery suspect"
Now at least you read my version.
Please pray for the family.
They lost their youngest son and brother last night
....and I lost a friend.

I totally agree with JesterChic regarding Jillian,
She is the most annoying person on TV. She loves, loves, loves to hear herself talk, and I feel it's the most rude and annoying thing when zones out because she texting and reading her magazines. Please tell me why is it that everyone on that show is always trying to be a comedian. Is it possible that Dorthy could ever say one sentence without cracking herself up.
By the way, I just stop watching your show, I can't take it anymore.

Iran...declared Friday that the new American administration had to admit past wrongs before it could hope for reconciliation.
To me, for an enemy to demand apology "before being willing to negotiate," is telling of the enemy's perception of our (neophyte) president and us - WEAK.
The world experienced a "great moment," our president's apologies for our "mistakes"...weak-kneed and timid. As with welfare recipients, the world expects apology and freebies...free funds...free support...free anything...doled out to our new "friends".
I wonder if our president idolizes not only FDR but also Chamberlain. Time will tell...hopefully we will not bear too great of an expense.
