Just out of curiosity. A blog about having a hard time meeting good people to date made me think. My boyfriend of three plus years was a friend of mine for two years before we started dating. So consider your marriage or long term relationship. Did you start off as friends? Or some way else. There is a lot to be said about friends first though. I found with my relationship with my current boyfriend to have started off deeper than my other relationships. Just my two cents. 

I so felt the earthquake!!! I'm live on the Cuyahoga Falls/Akron border. I was sitting here watching Scrubs and my apartment shook. At first I had a fleeting thought of earthquake but I figured it was the upstairs neighbor. Then I came on here. It was neat. This is probably the third Ohio earthquake that I have experienced. The first one I was too young to remember. The second was in high school (I believe in 97 or 98). The only reason I felt it in Brook Park was because I was in the basement. This would be the third. This is nifty.

 

 

So I have a funny cat story for you. Part of my couch is in front of a portion of my closet. I had the door open (it is two door slide kind of closet). There is a space open on the shelf. My cat, Oreo, apparently wanted to explore up there or take a nap. He tries to jump up there. His front paws make a connection but he has no leverage (he's a fat cat) and falls to the ground of the closet. He comes out of the closet unscathed and find but looking very confused. It was hilarious to watch. 

I think we all have our moments where life is incredibly stressful. So I'm proposing this. Tell me how you like the de-stress. 

 

 

I'm hoping they give custody to Kevin Federline. Did I really say that? Either way Britney is burying herself deeper into despair. I hope she does find her way out but right now there are two little boys that need stability and it is sad to say that they need to be with dad. Right now Britney needs to be alone without the main responsibility of her two sons to get her life back on track.

 

I am so excited that Jericho is coming back this Wednesday. I'm so dying to see what is to come. Anyone else watch Jericho? I have only been able to find one other person who watches the show.

I can't believe people are calling Tyra Banks fat. I saw the pictures they were talking about and she doesn't look bad.

People wonder why our girls today have such body issue problems. Well it doesn't help when people publicly blast a person who is at a healthy weight. I think it is very sad when what we consider beauty is anorexia.

We are all familiar with the tootsie pop commercial. The one that asks how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of the tootsie pop. I was a young child when that commercial came out. So it is safe to say that commercial is around 15 years old. This brings me to ask why is FOX 8 doing a news story about some kid finding out how many licks it does take?

This is not an original idea. I can almost guarantee that other news channels have done this as a story when the commercial first came out. Not to mention the number of people who did it on their own without the aid of a tv camera. Heck I had a boy in my eighth grade social studies class spend the whole period finding that answer out.

I think these human interest pieces are cute but come on morning show the tootsie pop thing is old and has been done.

I have to give Britney Spears a lot of credit. Instead of giving in to the demands of a money hungry loser she fights back. I have to say she'd rather everyone see her naked than have K-Fed have custody of their two children.

Don't give into the demands you have the money and the power which is why he has to play so dirty because he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Do you really want a man who would stoop that low to raise your kids?

Hopefully Britney will choose someone better to date in the future.
