Show Off On the City Streets...

Hey Bloggers, Bloggetts ...
I want to tell you something I saw today that made me laugh so hard, I nearly choaked...
I'm riding with my folks down a busy street. A white car pulls up beside me at the red light with a blonde babe behind the wheel. Of course I am on the passenger side of our car...
Suddenly she loosely waves her left hand out the window to get my attention. Of course, I couldn't help but to notice the loosely waving hand.
When she saw me looking, she struck a pose with her left hand on the driver's side door to make sure that I saw the diamond wedding ring she was wearing.
I went, DAYUMMMMMM! That bad boy was so big that I could have seen it from a couple of blocks away. She has to be doing finger curls to keep her fingers up to hold that bad boy up on her hand, I said...
So I pointed it out to my folks and suddenly, the light turned green and off we went. She sped up in front of us, with this spurk on her face and cut us off. Yeap, cut us off bloggers and bloggetts!
It was then when I suddenly noticed as she forced us to nearly slam on breaks, that she was driving a FORD, baby!
I cheap two door Ford, not a nice mustang or suv... but one of the cheapest Fords on the line..
Man we fell over laughing...
Listen, ole girl is sporting a ring that cost more than her car baby! I expected a Lexus or a BMW or a Mercedes to rip past us, after seeing that big beautiful diamond...
But NO! Baby has spend all her money on a ring and is driving a HOOPDEE ..
laugh with me yall... ahh ha ha ha ha ha..
Now that's what you call a Show Off on the City Streets.
I know some neighborhoods where, had she done that at the light, they would have chopped off her finger and took the ring and paid a downpayment on a house...
Yeah, baby, it was just that big and absolutely beautiful. lol
Let's laugh let's blog.
Psychiatrists have an actual name for "Road Rage"!
"Intermittent Explosive Disorder" (IED)

It is seething rage that goes beyond speeding, tailgating, honking, or passing on the right that many aggressive drivers regularly do. It is people who experience road rage so violent that it leads to an assault against another driver, passenger, or car.
Is there a road rager inside you?
Ask yourself:
Are you the type that hits your brakes suddenly to "teach a lesson" to a tailgater?
Do you leave yourself 30 minutes to make a 40-minute drive and then become enraged when the cars before you are going too slow?
Have you ever blocked a car that was trying to pass you just because you didn't think it should go so fast or get to pass you?
Do you curse at other drivers?
Do you compete with other drivers in a traffic jam or in toll booth lines?
If you answered yes to any of these questions:
STOP! YOU'RE TOXIC!!!
Please calm down that inner provocateur, while driving on the road.
This is a disease, a psychiatric disorder closely linked to impulsive violence. It usually begins in childhood or adolescence and includes repeated aggressive outbursts, property destruction and injury over many years.
Avoid being a victim of road rage & confrontations with IED people.
- Put your pride in the back seat.
- Make safe attempts to get out of their way.
- Do not challenge them by speeding up or trying to prevent their lane changes.
- Avoid eye contact. This sometimes enrage IED drivers.
- Ignore obscene gestures, this have gotten people shot, stabbed, & beat to death.
- Use your horn sparingly. Rude horns sends stressed IED motorists over the edge & inked to shootings.
- If in an accident with an IED stop at a safe distance wait for police.
- If you're pursued by an IED never go home. Drive to a police station or where you can get help.
Take steps to avoid drawing the wrath of bullies with IED:
- Don't block the passing lane.
- Stay safe distance behind the car in front of you don't tailgate.
- Always signal before you switch lanes, don't cut anyone off.
- Avoid the right-hand lane if you're not turning right.
- Don't take up more than 1 space when you park.
- Don't flash your high beams at motorists to punish them.
- Don't block the road while talking to someone. Dozens of shootings suggest that this behavior irritates a lot of people.
- Don't get distracted by your cell phone. Hang up!
- Refrain from displaying bumper stickers & flags with messages that may infuriate others.
What are you thoughts?

When Road Rage = MURDER!

When Stress hits the highway, people <<<<<<<<<< go crazy, look at that<<<
Do you remember seeing a face like that pulling up beside you with their fists balled up, ready to beat you down? Scary wasn't it. Nothing compares to it. More than 1,500 people are killed or injured in road rage incidents each year. What can you do to keep calm while driving and to stay away from dangerously aggressive drivers? What do we do about it?
In Truckee, CA 25-year-old man flew into a rage after another car cut him off on the highway. He followed the offending car to a bagel shop where the driver, a 47-year-old man, had stopped to eat. After yelling at the older man, the 25 year old man attacked the 47 year old offending car driver, stabbing him to death with a knife. The 25 year old was convicted of second-degree murder.
In Little Falls, New Jersey, a young woman and her two children were run off the road by a 25 year old man - who'd been tailgating her at 80 miles an hour and gesticulating at her to get out of the way. When the man finally passed the woman and her children, the man cut her off so suddenly that she was forced to swerve to the shoulder lane, flipped over a median and landed in a ditch. Both of her legs were broken, and the children suffered minor injuries. This lunatic only served 9 months in jail.
Two men involved in a San Fernando Valley road rage case that ended with the death of a 5-year-old boy and injuries to his mother and younger sister were charged with murder – one man is 44 years old and other 19 years old. The men were scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon in Van Nuys Superior Court both charged with 1 count of murder, 1 count of vehicular manslaughter and 3 counts of reckless driving causing specific injury one with 3 counts of leaving the scene of an accident in which injury occurred. A woman and her two children -- the 5-year-old boy and his 2-month-old sister -- were crushed between two parked cars. When one of the men lost control during the driving dispute with the other man who away like nothing every happened.
Rage + Race + Shooting = 710

That shooting that killed a motorist on the 710 -- the second on the freeway in 3 days -- seems to confirm all the bad things you hate about driving in LA It all started as a road-rage incident, continued as a drag race, and ended as a freeway shooting: A scary chase between a motorist in a small rental car, and an SUV with tinted windows trying to run it off the road, which led up to murder on the Long Beach (710) Freeway. A 37-year-old Latino was found dead behind the wheel of a small car that had crashed into the median of the 710 freeway. Police believe a driver in a black SUV with tinted windows pursued his rental car. The SUV was seen swerving into the victim’s vehicle shortly before the wreck. Both cars went north on the 710 Freeway to its end at Valley Boulevard in Alhambra, where they made two left turns to speed back south on the same freeway. It was a tragic end for one of the men.
So who are these lunatics on the road?
Are they normal people in their daily lives who convert to maniacs behind the wheel?
Or is there a certain type of person who is more prone to go ballistic on the beltway?
The "reasons" given for violent disputes that ended in injury or death include:
* "He cut me off ..."
* "She wouldn't let me pass ..."
* "It was an argument over a parking space ..."
* "Nobody gives me the finger ..."
Why????? Is this all it takes to kill somebody...

405 Freeway Cure!

So many people are always trying to compare their commutes with the commute on the 405 freeway here in Southern California.
I have been in commutes in various places, including being caught on the San Francisco Bay Bridge up north... but even with hanging over the water below... I still find that there is no commute worse then the 405 freeway. None other compares...
If you know of one or two, share them with us..
I thought they were building a commuter train, bullet train or some kind of BART system like they have up North to take people from the San Fernando Valley to Los Angeles and back. What ever happened to that?
I recall vaguely that they wanted to take away some land from some of the residence on that route to build this project... Did I misunderstand or is this in the near future for the 405? This would be so cool.
So what do you know about it....?

Kiefer Sutherland Charged With DUI. He was arrested early Tuesday morning, Sept. 25 on misdemeanor drunk driving charges.
The Los Angeles city attorney's office has filed misdemeanor DUI charges against actor Kiefer Sutherland with one count each of driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or above. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail.
Sutherland was also charged with a second DUI offense within 10 years, which could add as much as six months to his sentence if he is convicted.
The 40-year-old actor was pulled over Tuesday after leaving a Hollywood party at the trendy Area nightclub.
Do they ever learn....
Seems the more money they make the drunker they get...celebrities that is...
Now, I shouldn't have said that, cause poor folks drink and get drunk too.
This is terrible... Lucky he didn't hurt someone like the other celebrity did who killed the high school student.
What's your take on the drunk drivers? Clogging up our streets and freeways... It's a scarey thing...

DRUNK WHILE DRIVING....

Intoxication is being affected by a psychoactive drug.
A drunk man or woman doesn't get that way by just talking about alcohol, or looking at advertisements for liquor. No, they get drunk by drinking! And the more he or she drinks the more the alcohol controls him or her.
We say they are "under the influence." Another power takes over which transforms then into someone he or she was not before. One minute they are nice and quiet, the next loud and boisterous. They have sex with a stranger, drive down the wrong side of the freeway, park in the middle of traffic or a man may think he's Pavarotti and start to sing. When a police officer stops him or her and tells then to walk a straight line they can't do it. But swears (lies) that they only had one drink. Sometimes it only takes one drink. Buzz driving is drunk driving.... So they are out of control and can't walk the line. Why?
Because something else is running the show! You can't drive while drunk, period. You should not even take a swallow of alchol and then jump behind the wheel. Never, ever, no excuses. Those who do should be put in prison for life, as it is life they they risk and life that they take away when they crash. Do you agree?
Here's a excellent alternative; Know that what alcohol is to your body negatively, the Holy Spirit is to your new nature positively. When you're under the Holly Spirit's control, He makes you walk in ways you wouldn't normally walk, and talk in ways you wouldn't normally talk.
A sober man or woman doesn't have to try and stagger, drive drunk or wake up in bed with a stranger and not remember what happened. When they drink all he or she has to do is get drunk; the alcohol will takes care of the staggering and risky behavior and so on. What kind of life is that?
Caution: those under the influence of the Holy Spirit will not be offensive or rude, self-serving or "show-boating" in an attempt to impress others. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. The power He provides is controlled and channeled towards a life that's not possible by any other means. And that power is available to you today. This you may not know about, but you better ask somebody. Visit your local church and ask your Pastor "Do not get drunk on wine... instead be filled with the Spirit." Ephesians 5:18 (NIV)
