In Detriot today, a little girl was shot while shielding her mother from a hail of bullets -  taking into her little body most of the slugs - saving her mother's life.

 Six bullets from the 9 mm handgun slammed into Alexis, piercing her right eye, the chin and jaw.  Two bullets hit her mother grazing her head - entering her chest and stopped  just short of an artery.

"She was trying to save me," said her mother, Seliethia Parker, 30.  "My baby is just an angel to her mother. I thought as the mother, I'd be saving my child. I never thought my daughter would be saving me." Alexis has undergone three operations since the shooting at Children's Hospital of Michigan.

Parker's former boyfriend, Calvin Tillie, a 29-year-old ex-convict on parole, was arrested and charged with 2 counts of assault with intent to commit murder, pkus other offenses. He could get life in prison.  HOW ABOUT THE DEATH PENALTY?

Alexis was already a child with learning-disabilities. She lags behind other youngsters her age.

Parker met Tillie earlier this year and called it off after 3 months. He stalked her & popped up in the middle of the night. Shortly after midnight on Dec. 2,  Alexis and her mother climbed into their friend Aisha Ford's vehicle for a late night birthday get-together for Ford's mother. The girl got into the back seat, and her mother took the front passenger seat.

Tillie, who had been lerking about outside the house in the shadows in extreme cold, jumped into the back of the SUV, next to Alexis, and forced Ford to drive at gunpoint for several harrowing minutes until the woman convinced him she needed to stop for gas. She tried to stall for time while pumping gas. As she and the station attendant called 911, several shots erupted from inside the vehicle. The girl had jumped toward her mother in the front seat.

Parker bolted from the SUV, screaming. Officers found Alexis curled beneath the steering wheel in a pool of blood. Tillie was arrested at the scene.

"She is doing much better," Parker said. "She opened up one eye. Everything seems to be going great."

In Alexis' special education classroom, her classmates have named a stuffed toy with pink ears "Hero."  "We didn't want Alexis' spot to be vacant, so she's got a sweet bear to sit in her place until she comes back," said her teacher.

Alexis suffered a stroke before age 1 and has epilepsy. Her teacher showed off a journal revealing strides Alexis had made in writing over the past few months. What started as an illegible series of lines had evolved into distinct letters.

How much more can this little girl endure?  Clearly she is a fighter... with a heart of gold and brave as can be. She knew no fear and stood firm in the face of a pure evil obsessed ex con. Many of us would have panicked or shut down in the face of a 9 mm handgun. This little girl knew enough to know that he aimed to kill her mother and she wasn't having it. Not in this life.

Why must we blame everybody and everything for the mistakes we make. 

With decisions comes rewards and consequences. Why is that when our decisions spuns negative consequences, we have to blame somebody else, anything else but ourselves?

In the news today we read:      A man smokes 3 packs of cigarettes a day for 40 years, dies of lung cancer, and his family sues the tobacco company.

A woman crashes while driving drunk, then blames the bartender.

Your kids are out of control - shoot up the school, so you blame violence on TV, lack of discipline in school or the influence of their friends.

Your husband cheats on you continously, but it's not his fault because these women just flunt themselves in front of him with skimpy clothes on, or  because Playboy prints nasty magazines....

Your spouse beats you you to a pulp, but its not the spouses' fault, because they witness violence between thier father and mother.

Excuses are like butt holes, we all have one. 

Excuses - we've got hundreds of them! Such as:  Our parents failed us...our friends let us down...somebody gave us bad advice...our mate doesn't understand us.

The blame game isn't new; we've been playing it since the dawn of creation.

In Genesis the first couple offered God every excuse in the book to avoid responsibility for their actions. Adam actually blamed God by saying, "It was the woman you put...with me." And Eve was no better, she said, "The snake tricked me."

The ability to accept responsibility is the measure of your character and maturity. Wouldn't you agree?

Shouldn't we acknowledge our sins and shortcomings get help and stop blaming others or other things and move on to maturity?  I think so, how about you?

Everytime you turn around, the news and newspaper is reporting stories like this...

OH, don't forget the woman who sued the popular fast food place for selling her HOT coffee. Apparently she sipped the coffee in her car, it was too hot so she dropped it and it fell between her legs, burning her private parts and prevented her from having relations with her signficant other... and the story goes on from there...

But wait, she won.... millions of dollars, even... wow...

Women of Roman Britain used a foundation made from animal fat, starch and tin oxide.

Lipstick is known to have been used around 5000 years ago in ancient Babylon, when semi-precious jewels were crushed and applied to the lips and occasionally around the eyes.

Ancient Egyptians extracted purplish-red dye from fucus-algin, 0.01% iodine, and some bromine mannite, which resulted in serious illness.

Cleopatra had her lipstick made from crushed carmine beetles, which gave a deep red pigment, and ants for a base.

WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN MAKEUP NOW-A-DAYS?

Red colour of modern lipstick comes from synthetically derived pure iron oxide (a component of rust). Synthetic colours are listed in the ingredients as a code and may contain up to 10 parts per million of lead / 3 parts per million of arsenic.

Castor oil and its derivatives called "non-comedogenic".

Cerebrosides (cells from the nervous systems of cattle or swine) were used in some high-end skin-care products to increase moisture retention and to create a smooth skin surface. YUCK!

Strong red colours for eye products have been produced using the dye carmine, made from carminic acid extracted from the crushed bodies of the cochineal insect.  BUGS, I HATE BUGS!

Pearlescence, also sometimes spelled as "pearl essence", is a shine or gloss effect. It is a shimmery substance found on fish scales, usually obtained from herring and one of many by-products of commercial fish processing. YUCK!

Some controversy over the presence of these ingredients are looming. Especially since makeup worn on the lips is not just absorbed through the skin, but also swallowed with drinking, eating, kissing, etc.

The product is really cheap to make, yet the mark up is more than 30%, hence a tub of lipstick may cost a manufacting company 10 cents to make it in bulk. By the time it's packaged and in the store to sell to you, the costs is any where from $5.00 - 30.00 dollars a tube depending on if a designer or celebrity's name is on the package.

And think you are kissing crushed bugs or fish scales, lead.. Ah man..... owwweeee

Federal agents learned 3 weeks in advance that O.J. Simpson and memorabilia dealer Thomas Riccio planned an operation to retrieve personal items Simpson said were stolen from him, according to FBI reports.

Riccio reported to the FBI on Aug. 21 that a collector claimed to have belongings taken from Simpson, and that Simpson wanted to videotape the confrontation with the person peddling thousands of pieces of his memorabilia. Riccio raised the subject while talking with the FBI about a video of Anna Nicole Smith. Agents dismissed his report, telling Riccio "they didn't want to be involved in another weird celebrity case." Riccio was advised to contact a lawyer before taking any action and was told that alerting the FBI would not absolve him of any potential crime, agent Linda Kline wrote of the meeting, which occurred in Los Angeles.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said Riccio did not indicate a crime would be committed and that he was not clear how the operation would unfold. There was no mention in the report of any plans to use guns. Emmm...

Simpson, 60 years old now, and 5 other men were arrested after they allegedly stormed a Las Vegas hotel room with guns drawn Sept. 13 to seize items that were believed to include family photos and the suit Simpson wore the day he was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and her friend.

Las Vegas police said the FBI contacted them after the confrontation between Simpson and collectors Beardsley and Fromong and provided documentation.

Riccio, who had previously sold Anna Nicole Smith's diary, said he spoke for an hour with FBI agents about a video a doctor shot of Smith's breast implant surgery. At the end of the conversation agents gave him about 15 minutes to discuss Simpson.

After they expressed little interest, Riccio said he contacted the Los Angeles Police Department, where he was told to file a civil complaint.

Simpson is charged with an assortment of felonies. Three of his co-defendants have pleaded guilty to lesser charges and will testify against Simpson.

Does this seem odd to anyone... This seems like an overly agressive process to get Simpson - don't you think. Do you believe in light of this, Simpson will be found, Not Gulty, again.  or just what do you think?

At the Special Olympics in Seattle, 9 mentally and physically handicapped runners took their places at the starting line of the 400-meter race. The race began and they ran as hard and fast as they could. About half way through the race one boy fell. He got up and started to run again. Then he fell again.

This time he lay there and started to cry. The other runners heard him and one by one they stopped running and went back to help him. They picked him up and all of them had to give him a reassuring hug. Then they joined hands and finished the race together.

The crowd and the judges were puzzled.

Who won the race?

After deliberation, the judges decided to award all nine runners the gold medal.

I was watching the news this morning and saw where many people are allergic to peanut butter.  A girl died age 14ish. A little boy nearly died after bitting a half of french fry cooked in peanut oil. He was only 2.  A girl died after kissing her boyfriend who had just eaten a peanut butter meal. The list went on and on...

Then it hit me as the parents described how quick their daughter died after biting a sandwich that had a peanut by product in it at the mall, that this is SERIOUS....

I have a relative that is allergic to potatoes and tomatoes and anything with this in it. Even if the tomatoes touched the bread and you removed it, she would nearly die.

Well my thing is RAW onions...

I went to Burger King, where they claim you can have it your way... and I placed my order at the drive through window 2 days ago. I asked for a Whopper with cheese, no onions, no lettuce (as the onions hide out in the lettuce) and no salt on the fries....

The girl, (they called her clerk number 7) read the order back perfectly. I said Beautiful, thank you... and paid and off I went far, far away from that side of town with my order untouched.

I get to the location miles away and opened my bag to get my grub on. The moment I opened the bag, the funkkkkkkkk from the raw onions SLAMMED me in the face... uuuggggh!

I opened the burger wrapper slowly and carefully as if a snake was hiding in the wrapper...

Listen, not only did Clerk number 7 put onions on my whopper, she must have dumped the entire onion bucket on the whopper. There were so much onions that they fell in the bag and was wrapped in the burger wrapper... aagggh....   My feelings were hurt...

AND THERE'S MORE... the fries had salt! Not a sprinkle or a tinkle, but it seem to be a box of salt... aaaaaghhh I cried... I was soooo hungry, ok...

So the next day when I past by this place, I stopped, asked for the manager and told him the story... Before I could get the information out about the onions, he said, "do you have a receipt." He thought I wanted free food. Agghhh I said..   I firmly stated, NO, but I thought you should know that I can not have onions and your Clerk number 7 did.... ya know......

I drove off more pissed and because I saw the story this morning... I went back again today... yeah, I did, I know I know, but I had a bone to pick with this place because I was really hungry that day... ya know... and I can't have onions.

This time I had my receipt and demanded my money back. The manager gave it to me, my whole 6.00 dollars... but he tried to get me to take another meal. I said no thank you.....  HA HA. Boy did I feel better...this time.

Not only am I not going back to the Joint, I swore off all fast food drive in joints...  I don't want that experience again.. and you never know what you're gonna get... The wrong bite from the wrong slice could kill ya.

Alexander was indicted earlier this month on 59 counts, including rape, sexual battery and committing a lewd act on a child. He has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to be arraigned October 25th.  Age group of the girls he is accused of raping are ages 14 through 27. 

It's sad when you think of all the women and young girls who fly, drive all night, take a bus, and hop a train just to come to Southern California with hopes and dreams of becoming a model, actress, and a star.

Many of these young girls and women arrived at the inviation of fake opportunist, wanna be-s like, Anand Jon Alexander, some kind of clothing celebrity fashion designer. Before now, I never heard of him, but he suppose to be big in LA.

The women and young girls claimed he raped them. Some state it happened years ago and other within the last year. When he allegedly rape a girl, a minor this last time, unlike the older women, she supposedly told somebody and of course Alexander was arrested.

Then the women came out of the wood work... thus 59 counts.

Oh, did I mention that he is also in this country illegally as well. 

One woman, filed a lawsuit against Anand Jon Alexander, aka Anand Jon, claiming he raped her three years ago when she met with him at his Beverly Hills apartment. She filed a police report 3 years ago when it happened, nothing was done. Gloria Alred is representing her now, so look out Anand Jon.

Natalie Pack says she can no longer work and has suffered emotional trauma since her encounter with Alexander. Her lawsuit, alleges fraud and seeks unspecified damages.

Natalie Pack traveled to Los Angeles from Boise, Idaho, in 2004, to meet Alexander, who had expressed interest in hiring her to model in a show.

Many women fall for this line... Hence the casting couch for actresses in the past. Some say it's still going on, that is the casting couch - where women would be required, seduced or pursuaded into have sex in order to get a part in a film.

Rape is a terrible crime, especially when it happens to a minor. 59 counts is lot more counts than OJ Simpson got... whew...

A Same SEX Female Couple wants a DIVORCE... What?  I say... a Divorce!  They raised hell to get married, now they want a DIVORCE  and are now raising hell about that...

Before we could finishing answering these questions...

We are now faced with a SAME SEX DIVORCE DRAMA! AAAGGH!

If the women can't divorce in Rhode Island, their lawyers said the only legal avenue available to them would be for at least one to move to Massachusetts and live there long enough to obtain a divorce.

SO WHAT I say... what do you say...?

The vast numbers of Americans oppose homosexual relationships because they view these relationships as immoral.

Now what do you say about Same Sex Divorce? Are you willing to allow gays and lesbians to live their lives as they choose, with the view that "it's a free country"? Including divorcing...

If the courts in a certain state recognizes divorce of same sex marriages, then they open themselves up for same sex marriage and that is not their intent. Which is why Rhode Island is silent...

Some Politicians agree that gay and lesbian people are free to make decisions about their own behavior, but it is wrong to try and force all of society to accept that behavior as legitimate and moral.

Some comedians say homosexuals should be free to feel just as miserable as everybody else and experience the same problems heterosexuals have experienced in marriage. Divorce would be one...

Some say that homosexuals want the marriage but wish to skip out on alimony or child support or other types of support once their relationships end. What are your thoughts? I find this an interesting twist and turn of events.
