Vick knows that he's guilty as sin of abusing animals, he knows the Judge is going to hand him a hefty sentence and he turned himself in to look good in the eyes of the public and the courts. I don't for a second believe that he is remorseful about what he did, he's just bummed that he got caught. He belongs in prison with the rest of the scum. He doesn't deserve to have a red cent given back. Look at what he did with his millions. Did he help the homeless or support some charity? No. He raised fighting dogs and taught them how to kill each other so he and his pals could gamble on the outcome. He's a dirtbag. I hope he has turkey-flavored Alpo for his Thanksgiving dinner in the Big House.

Why can't we just forgive people that make mistakes. We all do. Who here is without sin? I'm sure Mike is sorry about what he did to the dogs. He will serve 24 months for his crime. Hopefully he can be forgiven and start his life over.

Umm, well, I actually just forgive him. I have had a change of heart. We need to forgive people. Some people have forgiven murderers of innocent people so why can't we forgive Mike Vick?

In a different blog on this subject I wrote… I don't understand how anyone, under any circumstance, could get enjoyment out of watching anything this violent and bloody being committed against any innocent creature of any kind. Those who participate in it, call dog fighting a "sport". For many generations the human race has dabbled in violent things that they like to refer to as a "sport". I think it helps them to justify their behavior if they focus on the competitiveness in calling it a “sport”, rather than seeing the brutality of it. I wish that every one of the humans that have ever had their hand willfully involved in these types of abusive activities could feel the pain and emotional damage that they have caused in others. If you have ever seen the movie “Powder” there is a scene where the “tough guy” of the movie is out hunting, and teaching a group of teenagers to hunt, they shoot a deer and run over to it, to watch it die. The character in the movie named “Powder” is also out in the woods and hears the shot fired, he runs in that direction, comes over to where they are standing and puts his hand on the deer, then reaches out and touches the man who shot it, the man falls to the ground crying horribly… because Powder made him physically and emotionally “feel” the pain that he had caused. The man that shot the deer then swears that he will never hunt again. I wish that type of experience for michael vick… more than anything else.

Umm....Ok Shans-Deb it will be alright. You will be just fine. So, will Mike Vick.

What are you trying to say here? Your response makes no sense to me. I am alright or fine or whatever you want to call it, so what are you trying to imply?
FYI – The prosecutor asked for 18 months, and then the Judge gave vick 23 months, not 24.
