I've been offline for a bit because of a small redo, on my puter, and High school football.
The big news right now are the Hurricanes. thanks for the news coverage, although sometimes a bit much, but there is always PBS and Discovery channels.
Hurricanes wern't much in my life until we moved to Florida(Pensacola). Then we would start tracking them , and their predicated landfalls. Most people had enough sense to move from the beaches, and onto higher ground.
My family always had the saying that if you lived below sea level, or in flood plains, Mother nature might smack Your behind.
Growing up in tornado alley, we knew where to find shelter and took it when the sirens sounded.
Thank goodness, most people listened, and moved away from the coasts, except for the dingdongs that had hurricane partys, and think little of their lives, and those that might have to rescue them.
Now I am watching idiots walking around downtown Houston, where there is still danger of glass falling from large buildings.Police having to tell people to stay in shelter. DUH!
Ya'll have a good day, I need to see if my dogs are wet or been blown away during their potty break.

I think all the red ants in Dallas, have moved to my backyard!
The rain has made them make rafts, and move to higher ground! My backyard !
I didn't even know they were builders!
I have spent enough on remodeling *S*

Today was it! I've had it with Rain!
Got wet, going from my house, to my truck!
Got wet going from my truck to my work building!
Got wet, going from the building to my bus!
Looked, behind my seat! there it was! My umbrella! The one with the Smiley faces, just smiling at me! Laughing at me !
I said a few words.."expletives deleted" .. to the rain gods! You don't know what i said !
Enough is enough! even the burn bans have been lifted..
I live on a hill, and am thinking of buying a boat, just in case!

On Wed. they decided to start clearing the shoulders along Beltline Rd., between Pioneer and I20.
Wed. night I started coughing, Friday, i was in the Dr's office.
Apparently all the Cedar trees, that were cut down, and then the cottonwood trees are seeding, some places it looks like snow .
All i want to do is stay inside where i can breathe!
I feel for anyone that has to deal with allergies.
