The NFL season is in full swing now and I have once again become 2nd to the t.v. on Sundays. I like to watch football and even have a fantasy team, but why is it that when the NFL is on men get in their own little zone, and tend to tune everything else out. Between the meaningless clicks of the remote to the constant running over to the computer I feel like I am watching a 3 ring circus. Watching him get a workout with all of the running back and fourth is more entertaining than watching the game itself. So for all of you football widows out there this blogs for you! Heres your chance to moan groan gripe whatever you want about your hubby and his wonderful football watching antics!

and for all of the men this isn't meant to put you down. I just find it rather entertaining and heck some of you may have wives that are way into football so feel free to post away if you do.

Last night all I heard was "Tomorrow is opening day!!" Guess what? What honey......?
"Tomorrow is opening day!!" OMG I just heard him say "somebody bring me a soda!!" LOL
My sweet hubby is sitting on his rump watching at least 5 games at a time, surfing between commercials! I asked him what time we were heading over to his mom's house today, and he said "after the game!" I have been instructed not to plan anything on Sunday until after 3:00. Well that is unless his favorite team plays at 3:00 and then my whole day is gone.

Don't get me wrong, I like watching football every now and then, but not all day. Today my entertainment is laundry and a webcam road trip with Erin!

Well ladies it that time of year again, and we just have to deal with the lack of attention yet again..........So who's up for shopping at the mall??? LOL

Peace, Jana

Oh Rosie that is too funny. Nik is in heaven now because he has a little boy to watch football with him or at least that is what I let him think. Trev will sit and watch it with him for a few min. and then takes off running. Jeanette consider yourself lucky. I have pretty much cleaned and sat in front of the computer today because he is wrapped up in his games. Guess football is better than other things...

When it comes to football....my house could be on fire and I could be yelling at my husband to get out and he wouldn't even notice. He tunes everything out when it comes to football. However it is so sad for him, he is on the afternoon shift so he really doesn't get to watch it....boo hoo!!!! Actually I like to watch football now and then but I am more a baseball fan.

Katie - a man choosing any sport over you needs some counseling! I'd throw my TV's in the trash for you!

Katie girl.........yes, shopping!! It's their own fault if we spend too much $$. We have to do something to occupy ourselves. I do like football, but I am not glued to the tube every time it's on. Call me when you need to get away from it all!!

Both my husband and I are avid sports fans. Last year we were watching a Rams game on tv when my MIL called. My husband answered the phone right at the time an amazing play was happening and I jumped off the couch and starting yelling at the tv. My MIL was like 'Who was that?!?!' My husband was like....'Um, that was my wife...' LOL! I totally get into football. Screaming at the TV, jumping off the couch! Wahhhhhhhhhhhhooooo!

yeah i agree exerciser. the day my hubby prefers football or any sport to me i would cry. then i would take the tv and him out to the curb with the trash. not really but i would be so hurt if my honey would want to watch sports over me. especially if he did it all the time. like i said sometimes he watches a cardinal baseball game.

right now my hubby and my youngest son are rebuilding my dads old 65 impala. they are bonding so that i like. plus it does keep them out of my hair once in a while

My name is Katie and I have 3 amazing kids who keep me very busy! I enjoy going to the Lake of the Ozarks, swimming, taking my kids to the park and whatever else I can find for us to do, going to Cardinals and Blues games, I love to be outside during the summer, but during the winter you will find me hiding inside somewhere. The cold and I don't get along. In whatever free time I can find I like to hang out with my friends, go shopping and I love to go dancing.
