Good way to get business

Last night in the middle of rush hour I was driving down 70 through Earth City and I saw a little plane flying over with a banner on the back of it. So here I am trying to watch everyone in front of me and trying to read what this banner said. It was an advertisement for a car dealer saying they were having a big sale. At first I was thinking what a bunch of morons who does that during rush hour someone is going to get into an accident, but after reading the sign and seeing what it was for they do have a good idea there. Not the safest thing to do, but hey if they cause an accident maybe they will get some business out of it.

I remember when U.S. Cellular came into St. Louis and had something big like that flying around downtown for days at a time. Such a distraction, especially since they are waaay up in the air...almost need the moonroof open to see them.

I am surprised someone hasn't made a remote-controlled airplane with a banner behind it...imagine a plane fly right in front of the car during rush hour.

Just good ol' fashioned greed. Obviously these people don't have sense enough to pour water out of a boot, let alone possibly preventing a wreck from all these RUBBER NECKING HOOSIERS who have to see EVERYTHING that's goin' on besides WATCHIN' THE DAMNED ROAD!

I agree with antsmomie. If a toy plane flew in front of my truck in busy traffic, I'd figure out who was responsible, and go put a boot up their *CENSORED*, period!

I use to see it all the time in Florida while visiting my dad...the planes would fly right along the beach..

LOL at whoever was shocked by this. And i suppose everything else people look at is ok. But oh no, some capitalist pig dares distract you on the road . My god what have we become. GET OUTTA HERE. You who are complaining are probably the same ones who crane their necks to see an accident. And what about billboards? Nice looking buildings? Adverts on cars, bumperstickers? Planes with ads have been in the air as long as i can remember. Oh and blimps too. Once again, so nittpicky. People will not only do ne thing to make a buck, but they will find any thing to whine about too!

I have never noticed the airplanes. But sometimes in Huntsville, Alabama, I noticed airplanes fly over downtown when they were having outdoor events.

My name is Katie and I have 3 amazing kids who keep me very busy! I enjoy going to the Lake of the Ozarks, swimming, taking my kids to the park and whatever else I can find for us to do, going to Cardinals and Blues games, I love to be outside during the summer, but during the winter you will find me hiding inside somewhere. The cold and I don't get along. In whatever free time I can find I like to hang out with my friends, go shopping and I love to go dancing.
