Ok so i went to the zoo today with Jana. We went to the ape house and while we were in there there was an ape trying to hang himself, one trying to escape thru a vent and another who thought it would be nice to pose for all of our pics. They were quite entertaining actually. But while in there we noticed that they had poster board up on the windows! Does anyone know why they do this?

If I remember right as my brother worked for the Zoo, it is to keep the kids from agitating the apes at certain times of the year.

These are much better than the weird one I posted. I would pick one of these over that one anyday of the week...I just wanted to let you know I saw them.

Ok so we spent our day just "Monkeyin' Around!"
Oh and Katie the answer to your question......
Poster Board is used to entertain the special monkeys on the nut ward. They can't see you and have less of an impulse to throw a trash can at you, or hang themself with a red rope!
Just be glad they didn't throw any pooooo at yoooooo!! I had a fab time and looking forward to visiting the monkey house again very soon. Thanks for a memory I will never forget. Look at that big dude stikin' a pose!

Oh yes the hairless monkey is still there! He was quite entertaining yesturday! He was one to talk about, but I have to keep it PG in here! LOL

Ok Jana will keep an eye out.Your pictures may get delete too. They are stretching the page.Webteam frowns at that.So you might want to resize them to 640 or 320 and delete the big ones.Just a suggestion.
I am going off subject here I seen new signs posted by fox 2 yesterady.So watch it with the peace train Saturday.

My name is Katie and I have 3 amazing kids who keep me very busy! I enjoy going to the Lake of the Ozarks, swimming, taking my kids to the park and whatever else I can find for us to do, going to Cardinals and Blues games, I love to be outside during the summer, but during the winter you will find me hiding inside somewhere. The cold and I don't get along. In whatever free time I can find I like to hang out with my friends, go shopping and I love to go dancing.
