Ah, the holiday season in retail, 'course I was in the liquor biz for a long time, so most people were HAPPY when they came to see me!!!

There are a few bad apple's though. The main thing is not to let them get you down. I always took the attitude that...If their that miserable, thats their problem, not mine!

And, I absolutely HATE when a customer brings me 2 same items of different colors and asks why the prices are marked different.

I always want to say, "It's simple economics, stupid."

But, nooooooooooooo, I am the polite manager, who calmly explains simple economics to them.

Then they look at me with a blank look on their face, and then I say "Different color, different price."

Then they get it.

Wait, you haven't heard the worst..............
How about the old ladies who come out of the fitting room, with so much old flesh showing, I'm just not paid enough money to see all that old wrinkly flesh!!
And they seem to have no problem showing it!

And, luck me, I get to see it all again tomorrow!!

Here's one that's happened 3 times already today.

run the customers credit card, first copy comes out, put it on the counter for them to sign. They have their cellphone up to their ear with one hand and trying to sign with the other, then they give you a dirty look because you didn't hold the slip in place for them to sign it. Put down the damned phone and hold it yourself. SHEESH!!!

They just don't get any stupider than this...

just had 2 guys in here. One was standing next to the coffee pot, he turns and asks me "Do you have any coffee?" I point it out to him.He then asks me if I have any cups for the coffee.As much as I wanted to tell him that most people just pour it into their hands and drink it that way, I reluctantly held back while pointing out that his leg is brushing up against the 3 stacks of cups.
Then his buddy turns and asks why there's no cappuccino coming out of the machine. There's a big 8 X 11 out of order sign covering the buttons that he had to reach UNDER to press.

Life is hard, It's even harder when you're stupid.
