So the new iPhone 3G comes out today.  It's hundreds of dollars cheaper... a lot faster and comes with more features.  So... my question is this:  If you are one of the people who bought the original and paid so much more for less gadget... how ticked off are you today?

Remember the old saying. "good things come to those who wait".
Just because you want to be the first on your block with the latest gadget doesnt mean you should.

When the first come out I couldn't understnad the fremzy of people who were willing to spend that money and I still say "SUCKERS"! People can get mad all they want too but the fact remains the same, "BUYER BEWARE"! Jumping the gun on purchases of anything is that individuals choice so what right would anyone have to even be mad! Maybe next time people will think before they jump~~~NOT!

Mater01, There are reports of "suckers" camping out for this new phone. I wish I didnt have a life and could camp out for electronic gadgets. Yeah right, I would do something a little more productive like, SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!

And yet, our economy is so poor. People are barely making ends meet. They can't pay for gas, they can't pay for food. Yet somehow, people are lining up, once again, for the newest, must-have iPhone.

Things that make you go "hmmmmm"...

exactly, Darrowin. It's just a fancy, expensive little toy for a bunch of morons to show off. I have my cell phone to have communication while I'm on the road with my three children. Anything else can wait until I get home.

The technology-buying public owes a debt of gratitude to these "early adopters" -- the people who run out and stand in line to buy the latest tech toys.

They help to drive down the prices for the rest of us and, more importantly, they beta test these devices and help debug them, so that when it's time for us to buy, we spend less money and take possession of less problematic devices.
