and 200 hundred other smaller projects.

Think about Dubai the next

A large brick of cement fell through the roof of a house in Naro-Fominsk, Russia, creating a hole approximately three feet in diameter.
Ironically, the cement was part of a program instituted by
the Russian Air Force to create good weather on holidays near the nation’s
capital. A dozen planes were dispatched to
drop silver iodide, liquid nitrogen, and cement powder into the clouds. The project aimed to promote rainfall that
would dry the atmosphere prior to important dates.
Weather modification is nothing new. Many programs to increase rainfall or reduce
the size of hailstones are in place here in the United States. Most of these programs are centered in the
Midwest and Desert Southwest where water availability is a concern.
There is some debate, however, around the effectiveness of
such programs. One of the most famous
weather modification programs carried out by the United States was Project
Stormfury, which ran from 1962 to 1983.
During this time, hurricanes were seeded with silver iodide in an effort
to reduce the strength of storms that were close to making landfall. The program was discontinued in the 1980’s,
as there was little evidence to determine if the program had any real impact on
the strength of the storms.

Ah, San Francisco: the perfect little microcosm of liberalism in
action. If you want to know what America would look like if liberals
took over, then all you need to do is look to San Francisco, the place
Nancy Pelosi calls home.
The newest example is the free ride service for illegal Honduran crack dealers, funded by city taxpayers.
Baghdad Bob says, "There are no illegal
immigrants in this city. None, not ever!"
San Francisco juvenile probation officials - citing the
city’s immigrant sanctuary status - are protecting Honduran youths
caught dealing crack cocaine from possible federal deportation and have
given some offenders a city-paid flight home with carte blanche to
return.
The city’s practices recently prompted a federal criminal
investigation into whether San Francisco has been systematically
circumventing U.S. immigration law, according to officials with
knowledge of the matter.
City officials say they are trying to balance their obligations
under federal and state law with local court orders and San Francisco’s
policies aimed at protecting the rights of the young immigrants, who
they say are often victims of exploitation.
Federal authorities counter that drug kingpins are indeed exploiting
the immigrants, but that the city’s stance allows them to get away with
“gaming the system.”

Barred by state law from sending drug offenders to the California
Youth Authority and bound by a 1989 city law defining San Francisco as
a sanctuary city for immigrants - meaning officials do not cooperate
with federal immigration investigations - juvenile officials settled on
an unorthodox strategy.
Rather than have the drug offenders deported, they have recommended
that Juvenile Court judges and commissioners approve city-paid flights
home to Honduras for the offenders with the aim of reuniting them with
their families.
The practice, federal authorities say, does nothing to prevent
offenders from coming back, while federal deportation legally bars them
from ever returning. Federal officials also say U.S. law prohibits
helping an illegal immigrant to cross the border, even if it is to
return home.

Joseph Russoniello, the U.S. attorney in charge of the San Francisco
area, said he was “flabbergasted that the taxpayers’ money was being
spent for the purpose of ferrying detainees home. You have to have a
perfect storm of dumb moves to have it happen.”
Must be nice to know that your hard-earned money is funding a free
plane ride for crack dealers. Of course, this is all done in the name
of the children, with city officials crying over the “abuse”
and “exploitation” of the crack dealers who police suspect aren’t
really juveniles, but adults masquerading as such. A city official,
William Siffermann, says that this approach is being used because
deportation could keep the lovely illegal immigrant drug dealers from
becoming citizens in the future.
Well, duh! That’s the whole point! Why in the world would
we want to make convicted drug dealers and criminals citizens? These
aren’t the kinds of people we need to be welcoming into the country.
We’ve got enough criminals as is without opening our arms to MS-13 gang
members and Honduran drug dealers. These sanctuary cities seem to just
love these criminals and want to make them citizens, though, for
reasons I just cannot understand. Wouldn’t you normally want to keep
these kinds of criminals out?!
Aren’t sanctuary cities the greatest? Illegal immigrants are free to
come to your city and trash it, without any interference from city
officials. It won’t matter how many drugs you bring in or crimes you
commit, because San Fran Nan & Co. will bend over backwards to
accomodate you and to keep you there. They are, however, working
tirelessly to make sure the military is completely eradicated from the
city.

Illegal Alien Mexican Drug Dealer Set Free After Murdering Border Patrol Agent With Vehicle!!!

Jesus Navarro Montes
Officials are outraged after a Mexican judge released a Mexican
national who allegedly struck and killed a U.S. Border Patrol agent
with his vehicle.
Jesus Navarro Montes was accused of intentionally killing Agent Luis
Aguilar Jan. 19 near the Imperial Sand Dunes in Imperial County,
Calif., the Los Angeles Times reported. Aguilar was attempting to stop
two Mexican vehicles from entering the country illegally. As he
positioned a strip of tire spikes into the road, Montes allegedly
rammed his vehicle into the agent and killed him.
Now a Mexican judge has released Montes without restrictions.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said he was shocked at the Mexican judge's decision to free Montes.
"We are working with a determined Mexican government and our
Department of Justice to seek swift justice for the Aguilar murder,"
Chertoff said in a statement. "We have also assured Agent Aguilar's
family that every resource is being called upon in the relentless
pursuit of justice."
Chertoff had previously applauded Mexico's support in finding
Aguilar's murderer, and he referenced the agent's slaying as an
illustration of increasing violence along the U.S.-Mexico border.
However, Montes was arrested in northern Mexico three days following
Aguilar's murder, where he awaited a trial on charges of immigrant
smuggling. He was later set free, and the details of his prison release
were unclear, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The president of the National Border Patrol Council, T.J. Bonner,
told newspaper he couldn't understand how Montes could be released
after he allegedly killed a border patrol agent in cold blood.
"How can a guy who murdered one of our law enforcement agents just
be released like that?" Bonner asked. "He could be anywhere by now."
Officials at Mexico's federal attorney general's office and Public
Safety Department said they believe Montes drove from Mexicali in Baja
California toward the U.S. border in a Hummer loaded with drugs prior
to striking the agent with his vehicle.
According to the report, U.S. Border Patrol agents saw the vehicles
illegally enter the country on Interstate 8, so they attempted to
apprehend the suspects. After Aguilar was killed, Montes drove back to
Mexicali and gave the Hummer to one of his friends.
According to the report, Mexican government spokesman Ricardo Alday
said, "The United States, to this date, has presented neither a
provisional order of arrest for Mr. Navarro Montes nor a formal
extradition request."

More than 500 agents take part in the raid. A sweeping federal
racketeering indictment
names 70 defendants -- most connected to the
Drew Street clique of the Avenues gang.
Heavily armed police and federal agents stormed into a Glassell Park
neighborhood Wednesday morning to wrest control away from a street gang
-- and loyalists with deep family ties to its members -- that has in
effect turned the sequestered swath of run-down apartments into rogue
territory.
With
a sweeping federal racketeering indictment, more than 500 agents,
including 10 SWAT teams, arrested 28 people in an attempt to root out
the Avenues gang members who have ruled the area with violence and near
impunity.
The indictment, which grew out of a 10-month investigation, names 70
defendants -- mostly connected to the Drew Street clique of the larger
Avenues gang. The gang dates to the zoot suit era in Northeast Los
Angeles and is closely connected to the Mexican Mafia prison gang.
Twenty-six defendants were already in custody and 16 are at large.
Prosecutors allege that the gang committed three murders, shot at
police, extorted businesses, conducted home invasion robberies, taxed
drug dealers for the Mexican Mafia and threatened potential witnesses
-- all as part of an enterprise to distribute methamphetamine and rock
cocaine in the area. Authorities say undercover agents conducted scores
of drug purchases from the gang during the investigation.

reputed gang members.
U.S. Atty. Thomas P. O'Brien called the sweep "the largest gang take-down in recent L.A. history."
He said he was confident that by targeting so many defendants with
heavy federal charges, the effort would accomplish what previous
crackdowns, convictions, injunctions and evictions have so far been
unable to do: break the gang's grip on the low-income neighborhood,
which is heavily Latino.
Half of the defendants could face life in prison without parole if
convicted, said Thom Mrozek, spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office.
Francisco
"Pancho" Real, 26, who was identified as the leader of the Drew Street
clique, brought in $1,200 a day in drug money alone, according to a
wiretap recording described in the indictment. He was arrested at his
home in Glendale.
The gang stirred a storm of media coverage and police attention after a wild, rolling shootout in February.

The
indictment suggests that the shooting stemmed from a brewing turf
battle between the Avenues, backed by the Mexican Mafia, and the
Cypress Park gang.
On Feb. 21, in order to prevent Cypress
Park from dealing drugs in their territory, the indictment alleges,
Real's cohorts shot to death one of its members, Marcos Salas, as he
held his 2-year-old granddaughter's hand in front of her elementary
school. Minutes later police pulled over the three suspected gunmen,
who then opened fire with an assault rifle. Police fatally shot one of
them, Real's half brother Daniel Leon.
Authorities had wiretaps
on Real's phones at the time. The day after the shooting, Real shrugged
off Leon's death, using a profanity to say "[stuff] happens," according
to the indictment.
The gang didn't skip a beat after the shootout, the summaries of the wiretaps suggest.
In
March, Real ordered the owner of a local tire shop to pay him $30,000
within 24 hours, prosecutors allege, or he would kill him and burn down
his shop. When the owner of an adjoining tire shop told Real that he
did not understand why they had to pay him, Real said they were
operating in his territory, the indictment alleges.
Real is one
of 13 children of Maria Leon, the matriarch of the gang and a defendant
in the case, according to law enforcement. She has a criminal record
with three drug arrests and was in custody Wednesday morning for
reentering the country after a deportation.

The family hails
from a sweltering, lawless part of the Mexican state of Guerrero, as
does much of the neighborhood. Based on their shared roots, many
residents maintain a fierce solidarity and loathing for the police.
On
Wednesday, an 81-year-old woman on Isabel Street, Olga Martinez, called
the police "gestapos" after they broke down her door looking for her
son. Numerous other residents declined to talk.
"We don't know
anything, we didn't hear anything, we didn't see anything," said a
woman who lives on Drew Street and declined to give her name.
The
layout of the small neighborhood -- cut off by San Fernando Road,
backed up against Forest Lawn Memorial-Park -- helps this separation
from mainstream society persist just four miles from downtown Los
Angeles. With few entrances, spotters easily monitor who comes and
goes. Gang interventionists, common in other tough neighborhood, don't
even go there.
"The Drew Street gang ordinarily is vigilant to
the presence of 'outsiders,' " the indictment says. "Gang members are
likely to identify and physically threaten to kill them."

by Assemblymember Felipe Fuentes (D-Sylmar), would prohibit state
agencies and local governments in California from using the federal
"E-Verify" system to determine if their employees are legally eligible
for work. The legislation would also discourage private employers from
using the system. The bill won approval in the State Assembly by a
43-31 vote and is now in the State Senate.
According to the U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services, E-Verify has already identified
200,000 individuals trying to gain work in the United States who were
not entitled, legally, to employment. The verification system is a
voluntary, internet-based program used by a growing number of employers
nationwide.

The E-Verify system uses information in databases
maintained by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social
Security Administration. While there are bound to be glitches in
databases of this size, the program provides for probationary periods
to clear up any discrepancies among those legally eligible for
employment.
While other states attempt to stop the abuse of
illegal immigration, the California Legislature seeks to prevent
businesses from verifying the citizenship or other eligibility of their
employees.

I think it is a well known fact world wide that the American economy is
going into a heavy recession. Political analysts all over the media
have been saying that we are in for another 4 to 5 years of the worst
economy since the 1960’s. Now you can blame this on a number of things;
a “larger than life” budget for the War on Terror, too much money being
thrown into the missile defense system, the oil companies financially
raping the American people, or just too much over-seas spending period.
But on top of all that the main reason for this recession that we are
diving into is illegal immigration. Illegal immigration has been a
plague to American society since the early 1900’s, but has been
exploding out of control in the last 20 years. Illegal immigration is
now impacting all aspects of our society like nothing the history of
our country has ever seen.
At this moment there is said to be 21,437,347 illegal immigrants in our
country! We catch approximately 4,200 Mexicans trying to cross the
border illegally every week, and that is only 23% of those who try. Most of them just want to come here to work, have a family, and
start a new life, but they need to learn to wait in line just like the
rest of world. The Mexican President has been quoted calling
Americans racist for having a closed border, but I guess he forgot that
he closed his southern border off to all of Central and South America.
He has also been quoted as saying, "Wherever there is a Mexican, that is Mexico". I guess in his eyes, the entire world belongs to his country. I understand that we are the worlds only superpower and that we are the
greatest country in the world, but I would also so like to keep it that
way. In order to do so, we must monitor every person that steps foot in
this country for drugs, weapons, diseases, criminal backgrounds, etc.
And with new ethnic groups introduced to our country comes new
religions, new morals and values, and don’t forget new crime and new
gangs.
As of today there are 360,931 illegals incarcerated in the U.S. prison
system. That is 360,931 illegal convicted felons that are getting free
food and a free roof over their head from your tax money. Here is a
number you’re not going to hear on CNN or MSNBC. Since 2001, the
government has spent $1,397,951,146 of our tax money to pay for illegal
incarcerations. It is also said that there are about 674,286 illegal
immigrant fugitives living in our country today. Every day there are an
average of 12 Americans that are murdered by illegal’s. For those of
you who can’t count that would be more than 21,900 murders by illegal’s
since September 11, 2001. In California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona
and Texas alone, more than 53% of all investigated burglaries are
perpetrated by illegals. 95% of all murder warrants issued in L.A. country on on illegal aliens.
For those illegals who have managed to stay out of jail, they have
found other ways to rob the public. Since January of 2006 there has
been $26,876,799,435 of American money wired back to Mexico. Since
1996, the U.S. government has spent $397,450,673,658 on Social Services
for illegal immigrants. In the state of California alone, between the
years of 1993 and 2003, 62 hospitals went bankrupt and were forced to
close down due to the financial burden of supplying illegal immigrants
with free health care. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama want free health care for
the entire country?! Ha! Keep dreaming. 43% of all Food Stamps issued
are to illegal’s. 41% of all unemployment checks issued in the United
States are to illegal immigrants. 58% of all welfare payments made in
the U.S. are issued to illegal’s. Less than 2% of all illegal’s in this
country are picking crops, but 41% are on welfare.
The list goes on and on. If you are not enraged after reading this

The AgJOBS amnesty has been stripped from the Iraq Supplemental bill. Here's more good news: the employment-based permanent workers have been stripped from the bill too!
Apparently Senate Majority Leader Reid and other Senators were starting to fear a prolonged fight over the immigration provisions, similar to the Senate fight last summer over the "comprehensive" immigration bill. In order to avoid that, Senator Reid stripped the AgJOBS amnesty and employment-based permanent increases from the bill.
Your Phone Calls Made This Happen. One Congressional office after another is reporting that their phones have been ringing off the hook in opposition to the immigration provisions in the Iraq Supplemental.
But there's still one more hurdle. The H-2B low-sill worker increase is still in the Iraq Supplemental so your phone calls are still needed.
Please keep phoning your Senators throughout the day and ask them to strip the H-2B increase from the Iraq Supplemental spending bill. During your call, you may also want to express how pleased you were to learn that the amnesty and employment-based permanent workers were stripped from the bill.
The H-2B amendment would, for the next three years, exempt from the annual cap of 66,000 any H-2B workers who were admitted during the previous three years. (The impact on the numbers could be exponential--they could rise from 66,000 in FY 2008 to over 400,000 by FY2011.)
Continue pounding your representatives to make sure amnesty is never granted to the millions and millions of illegal invaders who are destroying this great nation. Your determination has accomplished the nearly impossible once again!!!

On Wednesday the Senate will vote on a new amnesty plan for 1.3 million illegal aliens in the agriculture industry (plus their families). They've hidden it in a supplemental spending bill for Iraq, but it hasn't passed yet and it's not too late to shut it down.
Here are just a few of the ingredient in the Senate's new amnesty stew...
• Grant a three-year work visa followed by a permanent greencard to all illegal aliens who have been working as shepherds, goat herders and dairy herders.
• Grant a five-year work visa to the estimated 1.3 million illegal aliens working in other agricultural jobs -- plus all of their families. There is no instruction on what happens after the five years.
• Grant a tripling of the maximum number of H-2B visas for lower skill, non-agricultural seasonal workers.
• Grant industries an extra 218,000 additional permanent green cards for skilled foreign workers.
Perhaps you're thinking what I'm thinking: Don't these Senators know that we are in an economic recession? Don't they know that unemployment rates have been going up and that industries across the country are shedding both skilled and unskilled jobs?
If ever you doubted that U.S. Senators live lives disconnected from ordinary Americans, you could see it Thursday as 17 of them fell all over themselves to drastically increase the number of foreign workers allowed to hold U.S. jobs!
RIDICULOUS CLAIMS ABOUT RUNNING OUT OF FOOD WITHOUT AN AMNESTY
Senators Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.), Larry Craig (R-Idaho) and Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) led the way to protect our economy from having to figure out ways to hire some of the 14 million-plus American workers who are trying to find a job but can't.
Especially interesting is their claim that we will fail to harvest crops and feed the world this year without an amnesty for illegal aliens. They made the same claim in each of the last four years. Each time that we beat back the amnesty, the harvests still happened! How many times does Feinstein have to cry wolf (or rotting crops) before people stop paying attention?
Of course, the outlaw businesses that scream for illegal aliens do have more to fear this year because various enforcement policies (federal, state and local) are beginning to drive more and more illegal aliens home.
What we have to constantly remind everybody, though, is that each of these outlaw growers at any time can come clean, go straight and become a legal, patriotic member of the business community by importing any needed foreign ag workers through the H-2A temporary worker program. There is no limit on how many they can import as long as they pay them decently and ensure that they go home.
The North Carolina Growers Association has used the H-2A visa program for years and opposes all efforts at amnesty for illegal alien ag workers. If the program works fine for North Carolina farmers, why do farmers in other part of the country insist that only illegal aliens will fit the bill?
THE VERY LOW CRITERIA FOR QUALIFYING FOR AN AG AMNESTY
You don't have to have spent much time in the fields to qualify for Feinstein and Craig's amnesty.
You only have to meet ONE of the following three criteria to get the amnesty:
• Earned $7,000 working in agriculture during the 2004-2007 period.
• Or worked 863 hours in agriculture during the 2004-2007 period.
• Or worked at least a little bit in agriculture on 150 different days during the 2004-2007 period.That amounts to an average of $1,750 per year ...
... or 216 hours per year (the equivalent of 4 hours per week) ...
... or parts of 37 days per year.
DO THEY THINK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY ACCEPT THAT ILLEGAL ALIENS WORKING THAT LITTLE IN AGRICULTURE ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE SURVIVAL OF AGRI-BUSINESS IN AMERICA!!!!!
The answer is that they really hope we are that stupid or just incredibly unfocused. All the right-wing business lobbyists, leftist organizations, religious groups and news media who tried to force the amnesty last year are cheering this thing on.
But it's not too late to shut this down. We beat them last year because the American people FOCUSED for a few weeks and told the U.S. Senators who is their boss.
You know what you need to do now. Flood the offices of your Senators with angry phone calls - NON STOP! They will only listen if enough negative phone calls are received.

There is absolutely no need for any sort of amnesty, and particularly
not one for agricultural workers. Farmers, orchardists, and other
agribusiness-owners can take advantage of the H-2A program to attain
seasonal help. This amnesty only benefits agribusiness owners who would
rather hire and take advantage of illegal workers instead of hiring
unemployed Americans, just to make a little bit more money. You must
fight to strip the language from the Iraq supplemental funding bill or
work to have this bill voted down -- our fighting men and women deserve
better!

What Happened To The AMERICAN Flags Amigos?
In a sad display of fading unity to take over the southwestern United States of America, a mere handful of illegal immigrants showed up for the annual Mayday march this year.
Just a few years back, over one million criminals from the south came out of the shadows and proudly waved their Mexican flags. But apparently those days are gone. While the organizer (an Israeli sweatshop owner) boasted an attendance of 30,000, police estimates were less than 6,000.
Hey where's all the protesters? At least the cops made some overtime.
Turnout was so poor that only one celebrity politician even bothered to show up, Fabian Nunez, who has been kicked out of office permanently thanks to California voters. Even Mayor Tony Vivalaraza failed to show his metrosexual face.
The illegals who bothered to roll out of bed seemed to be more interested in the free tacos and ice cream offered by LAPD than actually listening to the masked Anarchists and Communists telling them how their lives would be better in the future.
How many hundreds of thousands of dollars did U.S. taxpayers waste on police and fire enforcement to cover this rally? And how many businesses were disrupted by the traffic this wasted effort caused? How many other rallies have you ever heard of being allowed to block the streets of downtown L.A. on a weekday? NONE that I'm aware of.

There's no more sympathy left in America for this scum and even the fence is finally being built. Who would have believed it, 700 miles are expected to be completed before the end of the year!
