USC Meets Illinois in the Rose Bowl

It's shaping up to be a game that USC should win. They're playing Illinois in the Rose Bowl this year rather than Ohio State since the Buckeyes will be playing for the National Championship.


Will it be Booty time in the Rose Bowl?

Does Illinois have a shot? They did beat Ohio State this year, so it's not like they can't beat a top-ranked team. But do they have what it takes to beat 'SC? Let's throw some ideas out there and weigh in.

One appealing matchup here is Illinois QB Juice Williams against the 'SC defense. It could be shades of the Vince Young/USC game a few years ago that turned into a great game. Besides, with a guy who has the name of "Juice," don't you have to watch? And no, he didn't murder his ex-wife and a friend of hers.
