4.2 Earthquake Reported in San Gabriel Mountains

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting at magnitude-4.2 earthquake in the San Gabriel Mountains, centered about 3 miles north of Wrightwood. Did you feel it? Which city?

I live in Pinon Hills and it literally shook us right out of bed. Pinon Hills is located about 8 miles from Wrightwood along the base of the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. There was no rolling to this earthquake,the quake was very loud; it roured as it got closer then shook real hard. We also felt a few aftershocks.

I live in Wrightwood and it sounded like a freight train going through my house. It woke me and my husband, but the kids slept through it

Nope, I didnt feel in in North Hills, but my animals have been all acting loony. Our cat that usually ignores everyone has been meowing and coming to everyone for attention. Our little dog hasnt settled down the last 2 nights, jumping on the bed, rooting her way under the covers and then out the bottom jumps down runs out of the room back in on the bed , under the covers, out the bottom and so on.
