Dick Morris, ex Clinton Whitehouse advisor, busted Obama in his latest ad "claiming HE... OBAMA worked on Welfare reform... and eliminated 80 per cent of the welfare roles."

Morris was livid that McCain didnt jump on this lie TODAY... Not only was Obama TOTALLY committed to everything BUT welfare reform, he now lies in his latest AD.   Not only was Clinton welfare reform NOT by Clinton but the GOP lead Congress in the 90s when Newt and the GOP lead, but it sure isnt an Obama thang....!!!  But to the Obama kool aid drinkers or those politically lazy, he figures no one checks.

OBAMA, we checked and you lied straight up bubba.   I guess the Change is getting old.

For His Welfare

Barack Obama is championing welfare reform in his new television ad titled "Dignity." The ad says that Obama "passed a law to move people from welfare to work — slashed the rolls by 80 percent."

But the television spot fails to mention that Obama resisted the very welfare reform bill that led to the reduction in the caseload. Back in 1996, President Bill Clinton signed a federal reform bill in an effort to make welfare what he called "a second chance, not a way of life."

But then-Illinois state Senator Obama told the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper that year that Mr. Clinton's stance on welfare was "disturbing."

And on May 31, 1997 Obama said on the floor of the Illinois state Senate, "I probably would not have supported the federal legislation."

"...The shift in Obama's rhetoric on welfare reform has proceeded in stages. When former President Bill Clinton was poised to sign welfare reform while running for re-election in 1996, Obama called it "disturbing." A decade later, as an underdog running for president against Clinton's wife, he spent 2007 avoiding the subject. By the time Obama emerged as the Democratic frontrunner in the spring of 2008, he began leaving the impression that he was for it all along.

During a 1996 interview with the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Obama could not conceal his disappointment in his fellow Democrat. "Bill Clinton? Well, his campaign’s fascinating to a student of politics. It's disturbing to someone who cares about certain issues. But politically, it seems to be working," said Obama.

Calling himself a believer in "making lemonade out of lemons," Obama co-sponsored a 1997 bill approved by the Illinois legislature and signed by the governor which made changes to state programs to help move people from welfare to work.

He made clear at the time, however, that he probably would have opposed the federal welfare overhaul. Speaking on the floor of the Illinois state senate, Obama described his on-going concerns as including a lack of job training, insufficient oversight, and provisions blocking legal immigrants from receiving benefits.

This is great. One guy Obama just threw under the bus is my congresscritter, Patrick Murphy, who got himself elected almost exclusively because he promised that he would end the war, co-sponsored Obama’s surrender resolution in 2007, and endorsed Obama entirely because of his previous position on Iraq. I think I can hear his head exploding right now!

Obama has been moving over to the center as he knows this country will never accept a liberal..for someone who doesnt want to see a third Bush term he is starting to sound more like Bush than Bush lately as for McCain he sounds like the democrats best choice

I've said this before, and I'll say it again: if Obama gets in, we'll all see that he comes from the Jimmy Carter school of Democrats, and he will blunder as much as Carter continues to do so. So if he does get in, get ready to scoop the guano out in 2012! To the bat cave Obama goes!

Amen mystere, Obama has no experience and is not trustful and he hasnt won yet. He will be dangerous because he cant be this much a flip floper. He is probably the worst qualified person to enter the Whitehouse race in 50 years.

Truth, if Obama is the "worst qualified person" to enter the White House in fifty years, then George W. Bush is really what American presidents are all about.

You say that Obama has no experience. That he's a flip flopper and all of the other fear factor semantics that seem to be paving the air waves. Yet, how can you honestly sit there and say that Obama is not trustworthy, when you have been lied to for eight years?

I mean, democrats are flip floppers and republicans are just plain "old" liars. With the current situation that the U.S. is in, as well the rest of world, who do you "honestly" think has a better chance at changing this country for the better? Don't let your bigotry cloud your judgement. That's a serious question.

Mystere, all of these premonitions really shows why Barak Obama is the better choice for president.

Usually when people don't like something or oppose something, they will "talk" down about it, not realizing that they are showing their fears. It really amazes me at how much fear one man can bring. Yet, how absent minded people are about the current administration. It's almost, as if, people are "taught" to preceive life to be fashioned a certain way. But with that kind of logic, you will always create an error in judgement.

If you don't want Barak Obama to be president, then fine. Don't vote him and ask the congress, whom you voted in, to not vote for him. Simple as that. Fear is gone. Everybody can calm down now.

While if your so confident he is not going to win then why worry about 2012? Alot of the stuff you are saying especially him moving to the center is goign to get him elected.

I will admit that while not a McCain fan, he is the better of the two since Obama HAS NO EXPERIENCE. But the problem with ANY Senator running for President is that they are all worthless. Everything you can say about Obama, you can say about McCain.

I make a mention of it in my post about and the mess with Chicago.
