Well the movie review was great. You cover all ages for watching these grose movies. Who can see it who should not see them. what the movie means to you. a personal feel to it. Great job. Hope to keep hearing from you.

I did enjoy Black Snake Moan. It was indeed raw and real, I felt like taking a shower after watching it but at least I felt something. I'm still a little iffy about Justin Timberlake, but Sam Jackson and Christina Ricci were amazing.

I still haven't seen Zodiac, but soon!

Those were great reviews, Mr. Edwards! I think this movie review gig is a great idea and I hope you continue with it. Thanks!

I went shopping at Vons yesterday. I got so many groceries that they gave me a four "Movie Cash" full-price admission theatre tickets and a lawn chair.

I have no friends, which is why I am giving the tickets away.

Four free tickets for Zodiac or Black Snake Moan...any takers.

Better. The pace was faster. But I think that you need fewer clips. They tend to slow down the narrative.

I still have two tickets left...first come first served.

They are good for any movie, and there is no expiration date.

No implications and no come-on. Just free tickets.

I just need a location where to send them via mail. Use your neighbors address I don't care, a P.O. box or use someone elses cell phone for contact. If you want these tickets bad enough you'll figure something out.

Steve,
What do you do for hobbies, entertainment, relaxation, and to keep your sanity with the girls next to you?

How many children do you have, and did you answer Tony's question yet?

Ask us some more challenging questions since you are one of the sane ones in the morning.

Oh Steve....I must know why do you endorse the terrible show Mike and Juliet? Why, oh Why would you deceive your fans like that?

Hi.....Tommorrow(thurs) I'll have my review of 300....and I ecpect some of you(all of you?) won't be crazy about it.

Jamie...I endorse Mike and Juliet because they are old friends; it's a tough business and I'm rooting for them. I don't get to see the show very much because its right after ours and watching another show is not high on my list but I like them a lot.

Godzgirl....How do i keep my sanity? Are you kidding, I haven't...I think I lost my mind about ten years ago so I fit in with Jill and Dot very well

I have a question for all you. If you watch gdla you know how I feel about the incredible overcoverage of every time a celebrity scratches or belches. What do you think....You love that stuff....or is it a waste of time....or am I just a guy from another time who is just out touch ?

Thanks for your responses.

Steve--thanks for responding. I understand your endorsement....its hard not to endorse old friends.

I'd like to respond to your question....I think the overcoverage of celebrity whatnots is nauseating and unnecessary. I'd MUCH rather hear about the local news and then world/U.S. news. But thats just my opinion. Thought i'd share.

I'm a huge fan Steve. I believe you are the reason the show has stayed on the air so long.

Take Care.

Jamie

Steve,

I love watching GDLA, and to answer your question. No, you're not out of touch. I love listening to the "few" comments made about the antics of the celebrities. I do how ever agree with you that it doesn't need to go on and on and on about the samething. For example this whole thing about Britney Spears' shaving her head, and rehab, and now she's got a boyfriend. Let's move on already, my 8yr old doesn't talk about video games as much as she's been discussed.

Keep up the good work, we all love you Steve.

Regarding the celebrity overcoverage...
I love that stuff to an extent. I agree that there is overkill with certain people like Brit or Anna Nicole, I mean get over it already!
OR when there is nothing you guys report on the lamest stuff! I would much rather hear the 'real news' in the morning cause it's the only chance I get to watch the news all day.

Who I really feel sorry for is Dorothy though...she still has to report it even if you and Jill are giving her a hard time and I know she doesn't always back what she is reading.

But I love you guys no matter what. Trashy gossip and all!

I had a feeling that you were not able to keep your sanity. I can say, that you kind of fit in but you still have some control of a lot of things, and what you cannot control, you just pass it by (SMILE)…Your views are usually from an experienced perspective which has validity to it and it makes sense.

I am with you on the over coverage, I especially heard you when you commented on Anna Nicole and Brittany, I personally think that it is a bit much. Too much overkill, that I personally do not care for. It is more to life than to hear about who got divorced or who is sleeping with who or who is in rehab or what ever, I see and hear about that everyday on the streets and that is not news to me. I personally think that it is a waste of time and Dorothy may need to find other essential issues to speak about. Personally, (SMILE), I was born in 1923, (SMILE) so you are not just another guy that is out of touch, because I agree with you…

I am like Jamie, I think that you are what makes the show. Other than Tony, I do not think that anyone else can take your place...

Steve has been the host of GoodDay LA for 12 years and counting. While it seems that he's been on LA tv for 60 years, it's really been since 1978. Steve's been the host of too many shows to mention but a few are: Am Los Angeles, Two on the Town, Live in La,: he has a closetfull of emmys, a star on Hollywood Blvd and looks forward (most mornings) to his time with Jillian and Dorothy, and yes, he reads most of the stuff you write!
