Excellent article.
We also had the Speck murders of the student nurses and the Charles Manson gang killings.
We also had the death penalty voted out in California, thus saving the life of said Charles Manson.
And not long after in the early 70's we had the mass murders of children legalized.
We need prayers back in schools and God back in our everyday life. We need to be INtolerant of those who do not want God mentioned!

wow, willie, wish I'd been sit'n next to YOU in history class!! :]

yes, things have changed for the worst, some think you can't 'kick God out' of any places, but that's not true. He forces Himself on no one, no country, no nation...

Personally I think it has to do with the cheapening of life and that is directly linked to Roe v. Wade. Whatever you think of a woman's right to her body, the lack of care we have for our children, born and unborn, is a serious sign of the deterioration of a society. I have no problem with the morning after pill or birth control, but I DO have major issues with people who make babies just for the government check or child support. And many of these biological parents are little better than kids themselves. They don't raise their own kids but leave it to their parents. Too many kids are virtually orphans.

oh please..

you're able to pray anywhere you want to, so long as you don't force others to do it with you

and chardoney, "god" doesn't force "himself" on anyone or any country or any nation.."his" people do that for "him"

did you read your own article link before posting your prayer comment? the article said that by the defination of mass murder it was as common in the 1920's and 30's as it is today. so how would a liberal supreme court ruling of the 60's have any affect on the past?
