War has never solved anything?

The feeble minds of the anti-war protesters never cease to amaze me. Several were quoted saying "War has never solved anything". Uhhh - excuse me Mr and Mrs protester.... what in the hell do you think gave you the freedom to protest? The birth of your country and it's underlying freedom was not negotiated - it was won on the battlefield. The evil foreign powers that tried to undermine your democracy, your freedom, and your way of life were not defeated by crying to mamma and saying please leave us alone - they were defeated on the battlefield. Because of war - you have the freedom to carry around your little sign and yell out your doltish opinions. Try using that void between your ears to actually think for yourself instead of playing puppet to the typical leftest anti-American rhedoric for a change.

I agree with you about the complete stupidity and ignorance of a statement like, "War never solves anything." A statement like that is a sad commentary on the general lack of good history education in America. If people study world history and American history it will quickly become apparent how important war has been to every nation now in existence. On the other hand, I'm not really sure why you are upset that some people enjoy being foolish. I am proud to live in America where people are free to have stupid opinions and shout them loudly. That just shows the world what freedom really means. So, don't be angry at those people, do what I do. I walk up to them and say, "Hi! I just wanted you to know that I swore an oath on the constitution and risked my life in foreign countries to defend your right to be stupid. Have a nice day."

I will agree that war has indeed solved many things in the past. I do, fell however, that fighting wars and being politically correct don't. When we have to fight by rules that our enemy doesn't follow then there can never be a win. When we have to fight nicely so that we don't offend anyone then we'll never solve the war against terror.

these 'protests' are idiots of the lowest form, most likely, paid to protesters.
Wars bring peace... and if you're not willing fighting for your culture and way of civilization, then you die. Thank God we have brave men willing to fight wherever needed!!!
