Rich on the Road

One of our terrific web producers, Alice Kalthoff, has posted a video of a man going absolutely beserk and tearing up an office.  Several web sites now identify the guy as a worker in a newspaper office in Moscow.  One site, at least, reports the video showed up earlier on Russian TV.  Hard to confirm but that seems to be the back story.
If you haven't seen it yet -- you really should.  It's on

I've worked around a lot of really volatile people but never seen anything like this.  The occasional screaming hissy fits.  A little pushing and shoving.  A prominent DFW TV sports anchor was once fired for throwing a typewriter at somebody in another market.  But, all of that pales in comparison to the Russian MELTDOWN - as Alice characterizes it.

Anybody have anything similar to share -- on workplace freakouts?

Rich

I’m sure we will see much more of this type of behavior as gas prices and food cost go up. People can only stand so much pressure. One thing our congressman/women don’t understand is they fact that many people are in a huge strain right now because of high gas and food prices. But yet all we hear of Washington is how to raise taxes to help global warming or some other BS bill that is only going to ad to the problem.
We are supposed to be a nation who is govern, not a nation who are ruled. With out of control politician who all happen to be millionaires and have no ideal what it’s like to spend 100 dollars to fill up, this country is in big trouble. No country can be ruled by a so-called self-acclaimed upper class as we now have in Washington.
I see this country heading in the same direction as France under the rule of Louis XVI. Obama if elected is woefully unqualified for the job as president and with the help of the democrats will take this nation down many dead-end roads. As with France we know that more taxation is not the answer only a downfall.
Yes I’m afraid that we will see more people flip out over the next few years as thing worsen for us all.

That's funny (scary but funny). It made all those men look like wimps for not stopping him. One day that man will come face to face crazier than he is and then he's in trouble

Thanks for clearing up the source, Richard. Up until now I had presumed that was the tantrum from Hillary's campaign office.

RICH ON THE ROAD I am blessed with a truly remarkable job that for decades now has permitted me to see corners of the world, far and near. When I'm not on the road for Fox4 News in Dallas/Fort Worth, I'm often traveling with my wife Catherine -- occasionally on mission trips in Africa or Latin America with our home church (Prince of Peace Lutheran in Carrollton). My contribution to this page began largely as a Travel-blog -- sharing current and many of my past experiences in traveling America and the globe. I'm tryng, as we go along, to wade into a wider range of topics without getting in too much trouble. Richard Ray
