Attended a press conference with the Governator in his official "press room'' at the state office building in downtown l.a. today... He looked great... purple tie and matching hanky.. kind of the similar shade as his hair.... shiny exotic skin cowboy boots.. the whole thing was very familiar.. as was the purpose of his presser.. to announce that Cal ee forn ya was in a fiscal emergency.  Oh wait.. didnt he do that last week ? or was it last month ? or was it last year.  ? It all kind of blurs.. Oh.. i get it..today.. it was ACTUALLY an official fiscal emergency, because under an obscure law we apparently passed a couple of years ago called Prop 58, if the Gov makes it an official "F.E.", then the legislators have 45 days to take action to fix the problem, or the Gov can tell them they can do nothing else at that point till the problem is fixed . Make sense ? I knew there was a reason we passed 58,  , Anyway,... I was going to ask him if he was familiar with the fable of the boy who cried wolf.. but his 12 year old press aides yelled out '' one more question'' and wrapped things up before i could get to that one.  We all know the Gov's time is limited.. after all this is an emergency.   The best part of it all ? As my camera man and i were leaving and crossing Spring St the Gov and his security caravan happened to be cruising by.. and in the right front passenger seat with the window rolled down there he was smoking a HUGE stogie.. puffing away....smoke curling...  He nodded.. smiled.. so did I....   Now if he were  out of cigars ???? That my friends would be an emergency.

If Shakespeare had been born and bred on a barren and unvisited rock in the ocean his mighty intellect would have had no outside material to work with, and could have invented none; and no outside influences, teachings, moldings, persuasions, inspirations, of a valuable sort, and could have invented none; and so Shakespeare would have produced nothing. - Mark Twain

Notice how a xenophobe, racist, bigot like Nunez, his wife, or son, DON'T show one ounce of sympathy towards the victims. Always a cover-up or thinking of a way to get out of this situation. And you people want me to believe they care about Illegal Alien chuntes KILLING Americans on American soil??? Yeah right. The Death Penalty is in order here...

Phil,

I wonder what's going to happen next, before the next governor gets elected into office, and a new Lieutenant Governor along with him or her. The 2010 California elections is going to be interesting, especially with the mess we're in. AAAAAHNOOOOLD can cry wolf, while we say "Hasta La Vista Arnold!".

The Skinny
By Capitol Weekly Staff (published Wednesday, November 26, 2008)
Last spring, there was a whole lot of jockeying for the 46th Assembly District seat. A staffer for Speaker Fabian Nunez, Ricardo Lara, a staffer for Sen. Gil Cedillo, Arturo Chavez, and the cousin of Antonio Villaraigosa, John Perez, all had designs on the seat. In the end, Chavez and Lara were effectively muscled out after Nunez reached a deal with Villaraigosa and Los Angeles labor leader Maria-Elena Durazo to back Perez. But Cedillo, who is termed out of his Senate seat, may be looking for some revenge. Nunez, with his $7 million in the bank, is the odds-on favorite to take Cedillo's seat in 2010, something for incoming Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg to look out for as he takes the gavel this week. But Cedillo has two years of Assembly eligibility left, and could mount a challenge to Perez in two years. Now, two years is a lifetime in political years, but a Cedillo candidacy might be a chance for both Nunez and Cedillo to get some revenge. A challenge to Perez by Cedillo could help neutralize Perez, who has already been tagged as a newcomer to watch, in any potential speakership challenge to Nunez pal, and current speakership front-runner Kevin DeLeon. It's nice that we can kick off the swearing in of the freshman class with so much potential intrigue...

The Germans and Austrians have always been fond of the Wolf. Just a very few examples, Castle Wolfenstein, almost sounds Jewish. The Wolf Pack. Remember Wolfie, he or she was a German creation. I'll bet Heidi Cuda knows many more (wink-wink). Don't forget Wolgang, they can even cook too ;)...no matters where you go whether it is in Germany, Austria or Arnie's offices, there will always be a Wolf, because crying wolf is in his bloodlines!

You might want to take a close look at these mugshots Phil. Look at what each one says. I was a bit taken back at what I saw, but not completely surprised.

I get to do what we call ''long form'' stories, investigations, half hour specials.. we can really get into some serious issues here... ( no not Britney). Someday i hope to meet Jillian. Later.
