While watching Barack Obama campaigning this morning, i detected a note of anger in his voice.  He was cautioning his supporters not to assume that he'd accept the VP spot if it was eventually offered...... ( the Clinton camp has apparently been floating this concept again)... "Why should the person who's in first place... be offered the Vice Presidency from the person who's in second place " ?  That was his question to his supporters.. but it was more than that, it  was the way he said it, his body language, that suggested he was angry and upset that he was even having to have this discussion... I say... "amen"'.. not so much about the issue of the vice presidency.. but more over the fact that he's starting to get a little edge to his tone and to his talk.... i mean.. last time i checked, which was about a minute ago... this country was .. to put in politely, in   A MESS.... check out the front page of the paper.... if it isn't more dead in Iraq.. it's the economy, gas prices, gang violence, .. so , if i'm running , i'm getting a little upset... ok ? the time for polite talk is over.. i want someone who's gonna kick some  _ _ _...

Thanks

Unfortunately he may end up getting elected. McCain is so loathed by many Conservatives he could well lose out to either candidate though Barak more than Hillary.

Hillary has her husband, and she also has people like Madeline and Janet Reno not to mention others who come back into the frey. 51% of the country said no to Hillary, and so that leaves Marxist Barak "Hussein" Obama to slide right in. What is really sad is that the Republican party has been so destroyed from within by George W and his domestic policies that it allowed McCain in as the only candidate. Seems this country may well be over, when these three are the only candidates for President and the congress does nothing to fix it except go after baseball players. That says it all baby!

Looks like DeLay is promoting this "Marxist" charge on Obama. What's your evidence of Obama's political ideology Sebar? Isn't Marxism the opposite of Facism, so which system do you prefer?

Here's Obama's answer to your charges.

Is Obama a "Marxist Leftist"?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama's office is responding to charges from former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay that the Illinois Democrat is attempting to conceal his liberal views and that his record in the Senate is comparable to that of a "Marxist Leftist."

DeLay is also urging conservative bloggers to begin digging into Obama's past.

A spokesperson for the senator says voters want to "move beyond" Delay's "name-calling."

"Former Congressman DeLay's rhetoric is exactly the sort that the American people rejected so resoundingly in November," Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a statement. "They want us to move beyond the name-calling and slash-and-burn politics that have served this country so poorly and deal with the real challenges we face."

DeLay made the comments to a group of conservative bloggers at a weekly lunch hosted by Human Events and the Heritage Foundation, according to Robert Bluey of HumanEvents.com, who attended the meeting.

Following this week's launch of TomDeLay.com, the Texas Republican is stepping up his efforts to reach out to bloggers and grassroots activists.

DeLay also warned conservatives at the meeting that "Hillary [Clinton] will be the next president of the United States because [liberals] have built a coalition."

Totally agree Phil. We need someone who's tough, honest, and tough on the issues. But I don't think Obama is that person.

ha ha..oh yeah, NOW he decides to "get tough"??? too late. I saw him interviewed after little Hillary shoved his newsletter in his face and he quivered like a little girl. His wife would’ve been tougher than him. Maybe she should run.
Besides, he gives me the impression that when that phone rings at 3 am, he’ll say, "now now, lets not talk about this for a minute. Lets meet for tea and work something out. I'm sure we can because everyone likes me and I make friends everywhere I go".

ha! I don’t want to make friends with freaking terrorists ya moron! Nor do we need to "meet" with radicals. What part of -we don’t play that- do you not understand? God I hope he looses now. oh, and I didn’t like his pic in the dress either. oops, how politically incorrect of me.

GO HILLARY! GO MCCAIN!

What I will say about Obama is that I like him better than Clinton. I won't even mention McCain, he's the worst of them all. Make no mistake, this is no compliment to Obama. He's simply, as they say in this wold of "politics as usual", "the lesser of two evils." Or in this case, three evils. I pray for the day when the people wake up and start researching things on their own and maybe one of the truly deserving underdogs will win one day.

Greetings from St Paul.. tonite is the last nite of the GOP convention.... seems like we've been here for a longggggggggggg time.. gonna be huge tonite... McCain the man on Thurs... should be exciting speech, my friends. Going to big events like the conventions one of the best parts of being a news reporter here at Fox 11.. been in LA since '83... aside from the traffic it's awesome.. why wouldn't you want to live here ? I have a great job.. the people here are fun... I get to do what we call ''long form'' stories, investigations, half hour specials.. we can really get into some serious issues here... ( no not Britney). Someday i hope to meet Jillian. Later.
