If you've ever been to or watched a police officers funeral, and haven't cried or at least teared up. you're not human. Now we'll be going to another one, and if not for the fortunate angle of another bullet, we'd be going to two. Most of us of course never knew Randy Simmons but from the sounds of it he was one of the truly good guys. So.. next time you're a little steamed cause the 405 is backed up, try to keep things in perspective and remember what 's important. ... chasing Britney Spears around and around isn't the real world... the real world has a lot of bad people in it who can get guns way to easily and like to use them. And we all , in some way, pay the price.

premise is wrong. why do you add the "not human" point? there are good cops and there are bad cops. ever seen a cop lie in court? ever been a defendant and observer a cop lie about your case? is bratton correct when he says the decision to enter the house was correct? my timing might be early, but i think cops made big mistakes in winnnetka which resulted in two cops being shot. from what i have heard on TV and radio, Simmons was a good guy. yes, it's sad when a good cops gets injured. yes there are a lot of bad guys in this county. we need cops. i'm not sure having lots of guns on the streets is a bad idea--i can imagine a situation in which the people need guns and don't have them. as for criminals getting guns, i need to think about a solution. was a camera from the TV show Cops following the swat team in winnetka?

Greetings from St Paul.. tonite is the last nite of the GOP convention.... seems like we've been here for a longggggggggggg time.. gonna be huge tonite... McCain the man on Thurs... should be exciting speech, my friends. Going to big events like the conventions one of the best parts of being a news reporter here at Fox 11.. been in LA since '83... aside from the traffic it's awesome.. why wouldn't you want to live here ? I have a great job.. the people here are fun... I get to do what we call ''long form'' stories, investigations, half hour specials.. we can really get into some serious issues here... ( no not Britney). Someday i hope to meet Jillian. Later.
