the story as I understood the news report is that La Habra agrees to pay the operator of a strip club $5.2 million so the strip club will close. The purchase probably makes sense in some way of thinking. I did not grasp the economics of the buy out. Seems Pasadena has also bought out a strip club. what are the problems with a strip club operating in a neighborhood? what are the costs of ongoing litigation to close down a club or is closing down a club possible? there is more to this story and I would appreciate my understanding the whole story!
