(AP) 7:07 p.m. PT May 8, 2007  LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The owner of an upscale steakhouse in Louisville said he asked O.J. Simpson to leave his restaurant the night before the Kentucky Derby.  “I didn’t want to serve him because of my convictions of what he’s done to those families,” Jeff Ruby said in a telephone interview Tuesday. “The way he continues to torture the lives of those families ... with his behavior, attitude and conduct.”  Simpson, who was in town for the Derby on Saturday, came in with a group of about 12 Friday night and was seated at a table in the back. “I didn’t want that experience in my restaurant,” Ruby said, later adding that seeing Simpson get so much attention “makes me sick to my stomach.”

He said he went to Simpson’s table and said, “I’m not serving you.” Ruby said when Simpson didn’t respond, he repeated himself and left the room.

Ruby said Simpson soon came up to him and said he understood and would gather the rest of his party to leave.

I agree with this blog, If OJ doesn't confess and repent of what he did. He will burn in Hell.

yeah I can see how the owner felt bad. I don't know what I would've done, but there's one thing I know for sure, I don't give a hoot about celebs! to me, they are people like everyone else. I am only impressed by true heroes such as, policemen- or women, firemen, soilders, doctors, teachers, good parents, etc...

wouldn't it be cool if the paparrazzi waited for soilders to come back from war and treated them like stars? giving them the gratitude and recognition they deserve? should'nt they be the ones that get special treatment and tons of nice free things?

I don't blame the owner I would not have served him either. It was the book that really angered me. How dare OJ to write a book titled "If I Did It" He has to be out of his mind.

If I was accused of a crime and was found not guilty, I would be pissed if I am turned away from a restaurant or any place because some (yes some, not all) believe I was guilty and didn't like the way I behaved because I didn't show respect. As a child of the sixties, I lived through the "whites only” crap, being called the "N" word as a child by racist whites and the bombing and murder of Blacks just because we were deemed not quite human. Now I could walk around full of anger and rage but I moved on. At first because I had to if I wanted to have any kind of a decent life and also because at the time, white sociality would constantly tell AA’s to move on. Well I say to you and the restaurant owner, "MOVE THE HELL ON".

Now there will be those who want to rant about OJ's guilt, I am not interested in debating his innocence or guilt. The fact is, the same judicial system that found white not guilty of crimes did the same for OJ. As AA’s we have a history of having to except what the court declared. Did mean we liked it but we knew we could not live our lives in a rage of the results. The thing is, I never heard or read that these people were turned away from an establishment. Or constantly followed and commented on by brainless joke of a weatherperson, foreigner who is here making millions off the goodness of this country (JR). I say to this sad person, MOVE THE HELL ON.

i think it don't bother you because the two people he hacked to death were WHITE ! and it sounds like your a long way from moving on because you seem to hold onto alot of anger towards the white population still ....sad for you to have that all bottled up inside

Funny memoryjoe. It's obvious u are an idiot. Read my comments again or ask someone to read it to you because it's obvious you can't comprehend anything past first grade. But I will pass along your comments to my WHITE huband and WHITE children and they can laugh at you silly ass too.

Get over it what happened, Happened many many years ago. Who is this guy to say OJ did it. We may never know unless he confesses only God And O J Know if he really did it. QUIT JUDGING You wouldn't want to be judged for your wrong doings. We have all done something wrong. Lied, took something, etc.
