LAPD takes two commanding officers (asst chief Lee Carter, and the underboss in Central Div Lou Gray ) each having more than thirty years experience and demotes them a notch after their performing responsiblities of supervision were flakey at best at MacArthur Park.   Ordinarily I would send an email to Frontline at PBS to investigate what the pricks in the park were instructed to do regarding hitting journalists and firing non-lethals.  Last night I watch a ten minute piece by Phil Shuman about arresting those who have been ordered by a court to leave the USA but have stayed.  I have also been impressed by Hal Eisner's reports from MacArthur park since the May 1 strange behavior by the police.  Ed Lasko also reported an interesting aspect of the story from inside the ch 11 studio.  Blatchford must be on vacation.  Anyway,  seems ch 11 has the meat journalists who are capable of doing as good a job as sixty minutes or as frontline.  take the discussion among yourselves and turn me on to what part of the story is known but not yet made public.

Ya I was wondering about all the different reports too! The first or second day it was about what the people we're doing wrong in the park,I've been busy with a sick cat but now the real story seems to be coming out, but still no answers.? interesting ?

And I'm sure there is a ton more video that exists that is currently being reviewed. Let's hope it doesn't show the LAPD in a bad light, but maybe shows them doing their best under near-riot circumstances.

What about the people throwing the rocks, pipes, and water bottles? Have they been arrested? If so, for some of them, is this their third strike? Why is Antonio Villar and Bill Bratton still the mayor and police chief respectively? Where was the mayor when this so-called melee went down? And lastly, only ten (10) people injured out of how many? How bad could this have been? Something smells like a dead fish in Los Angeles!!

That smell is one of lawsuits about to be filed.
