LAST CHANCE TO STOP THE WALL STREET BAILOUT !
Most of you are well aware that tomorrow morning is crucial to making one last strong statement to the House that Americans overwhelmingly reject the $850 Billion bailout bill.
I am opposing this disturbing march to socialism. Please make one last round of calls first thing in the morning. Pelosi does not quite have the votes to bring the bill up for a vote and we need to keep it that way. There is some serious arm twisting and promising going on right now to find a few more votes to pass this horrible bill.
The best we can hope for now is to make sure this doesn't get voted on tomorrow! Just like the ugly amnesty bill last year, the longer this draws out, the less chance it has to pass as people study the Bill and see the hundreds of billions in pork and earmarks and how this will drive America much further into debt.
My message to Washington is crystal clear: NO TAXPAYER BAILOUT OF WALL STREET AND FAILED FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS! NOT NOW, NOT EVER!

Obama Embarrassed by Americans
Apparently Barack Obama is embarrassed by the fact that most people in the world speak English, and Americans don't generally speak other languages too well. Perhaps it was just a joke, but given Obama's globalist one world viewpoints he should be a little more careful about his 'jokes'
Why is that embarrassing? Could you imagine if New York spoke one language, New Jersey spoke another language, Delaware spoke a third language, Connecticut spoke another language. I mean, Europe is like New England and the eastern states. You're living on top of each other. And everybody speaks another language. Of course you speak more than one language. You have to to be able to survive. I'm sorry that they're so stupid that they continue to speak 800 different languages when they're living next door to each other. Here's an idea, we streamlined it. One. I mean, why should I feel embarrassed that I don't speak German? I'm sorry. I don't have a lot of opportunity to use German, you know, in the United States of America.
When French people visit China, they don't speak Chinese.
Have you ever seen a candidate with more legitimate spooky stuff on the table than Barack Obama?

Three things to ponder today:
1. Cows
2. The Constitution
3. The Ten Commandments
Cows:
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 20 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.
The Constitution:
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.
The Ten Commandments:
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.
This shows real bias by the schools and the left. If only one religion (a VERY SMALL minority of members of Mohammadism even exist in the US) can get religious accomodation while Christians, Budhhists, Hindus, Jews, etc. can't, its clearly unconstitutional. So these accommodations are ILLEGAL in the U.S. It's sad to see the destruction of the country by our left (and certain right wing leaders also).

State Has Run Out of Cash
The State Controller told the Mugger you can’t get blood out of the California turnip.
Most of us did not know that for weeks the State of California has been "living" on borrowed money—which has to be replaced, with interest.
Our "special funds" have become slush funds allowing Sacto politico to spend beyond our means, borrowing from children, health care and the elderly.
Maybe it would be a good idea for Clark Kelso to take the $7 billion, today from our general fund accounts—he would get zero dollars.
This is the time to cut spending and taxes. If we do not want the State to go belly up, it is now or never. Another year of this and Kelso could have the whole State, and he would get nothing.
The bigger question is why isn’t the mainstream media telling us the state is getting by only by borrowing? Why are we not told by the Governor or the legislature we are out of money?
We need to tell our legislators we will not tolerate this any more—or we will be forced to do as hundreds of thousands of others have already done, leave this bankrupt State.
Get angry or get poor.

Herdt: State running out of cash
Without timely budget, will it be able to borrow?
By Timm Herdt
Wednesday, June 25, 2008
It was alarming last week to read California Controller John Chiang's response to the federal prison healthcare receiver's threat to take money from the state treasury through a court order.
To paraphrase in blunt terms, Chiang's response was this: Sorry, but the cupboard's bare. Good luck getting blood out of this turnip.
There is no money in the state's general fund, he said, explaining that the state is limping along financially, paying its bills only by borrowing the money from various pots of special funds.
To those not schooled in bookkeeping, this sounds like a disaster. In fact, it's not that unusual for this time of year.
A little short-term borrowing, both internally and from bankers, typically evens out the cash flow and gets us through. The state does some cash-flow borrowing nearly every year.
But there's something different about this year — and it's not yet clear whether the reality has fully sunk in to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the legislative leaders who are sitting on a financial time bomb.
To be sure, the state has survived fiscal crises before, but it's never before had to go begging for credit at a time when the financial markets are jittery and cash-poor.
When the Budget Conference Committee began its work nearly two weeks ago, it wisely chose to call as its first witness a top deputy to Treasurer Bill Lockyer to explain the urgency of getting its work done as quickly and responsibly as possible.
Paul Rosenstiel avoided histrionics, but pulled no punches. He spoke to the committee in the measured way a banker might talk with a valued customer who had been late on his payments and now wants to extend his line of credit.
The state will run out of cash, Rosenstiel said, sometime in September. Before then, it will have to borrow an unusually large amount of cash, about $10 billion.
That will be difficult enough, Rosenstiel explained, even if a budget with a minimum of uncertainties is enacted within the next few weeks. If that happens, much of the borrowing can be accomplished through revenue anticipation notes, or RANs, that would be paid off before the end of the 2008-09 fiscal year.
Under any circumstance, he said, the borrowing package will most likely also include some amount of more expensive loans obtained through what are called revenue anticipation warrants, or RAWs, that would not be paid off until the following fiscal year. These warrants not only come with higher interest rates, but also require the state to purchase a credit-enhancement insurance policy.
The last time the state issued RAWs, in 2003, it paid $100 million for credit enhancement on $11 billion in borrowing. The nonpartisan Legislative Analyst's Office estimates the cost this time around would run into the hundreds of millions of dollars.
As bad as that sounds — having to pay hundreds of millions just to manage cash flow to avoid defaulting on state commitments — it's not the worst-case scenario.
The worst case, in today's battered financial markets, is that no one will sell credit insurance or buy short-term California notes at any price.
"Lenders and credit enhancers have less capital to commit and are taking smaller risks and less exposure," Rosenstiel said.
He noted that commercial and investment banks damaged by exposure to sub-prime mortgages have written off $232 billion in losses worldwide since 2007.
"As a result, the market for several types of securities has collapsed, creating chaos in the short-term exempt market in particular — the very market in which we have to issue RANs and RAWs," Rosenstiel said. "Several major banks are telling us they're making credit enhancement commitments that are only one-half to one-third of what they might have made in the absence of the sub-prime problems."
The bottom line, he advised, is that California will likely be seeking the largest amount of cash-flow borrowing of any state in history precisely at a time when the credit markets are more uncertain than ever before.
"The rating agencies and capital markets have grown increasingly frustrated with the state's inability to address its structural budget deficit," Rosenstiel said. "A budget with permanent solutions will help with our bond rating and instill confidence we can repay our short-term debt."
If the state is to avoid a true fiscal calamity — one in which it defaults on its obligations — California needs a budget, he advised, that is mindful of what Rosenstiel called the "fundamental lesson of Bonds 101: Investors buy bonds only if they believe they will be repaid."

Democrats to American People: Drop Dead!
In a symbolic "drop dead" to the American people, Senate Democrats teamed up to reject a Republican proposal supported by President Bush that would have begun the process of significantly lowering fuel prices by allowing oil to be extracted from vast oil reserves under a tiny speck of frozen Arctic wasteland in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)..
The 19 million acre ANWR is in the northeast corner of Alaska entirely above the Arctic Circle. The area affected by oil recovery would be limited to 2000 acres, or about one-hundredth of one percent (0.01%) of the entire ANWR.. Putting it into perspective, while the entire ANWR is about the size of the state of South Carolina, the oil recovery area would be about the size of the village of Branchville, SC (southeast of Orangeburg)..
Being above the Arctic Circle, for nearly half the year the area would be in darkness with no sun visible. Unlike the pristine views of mountains and lush green valleys sometimes used by the Sierra Club to mislead its members, the area where oil is to be recovered resembles a white Martian landscape. Contrary to the statements of extremist environmental organizations (such as The Sierra Club), oil recovery would not risk significant negative impact on wildlife. Neither would it adversely affect the areas' natives, as claimed by the anti-oil zealots of The Sierra Club. To the contrary, revenue from oil recovery would substantially benefit native Alaskans and provide for exceptional education opportunities for their children.. For more about oil recovery from the ANWR and its impact on native Alaskans, see http://www. anwr. org/flash. htm..
By their vote to continue their unconscionable ban on extracting oil from the ANWR, Senate Democrats have informed the American People that they are:.... against lower fuel prices, .. against private sector job creation,.. against improving the lives of native Alaskans,.. against reducing America's reliance on oil from foreign countries where oil revenues support socialist/communist dictators and Islamic terrorists,.. against lower heating/air conditioning costs,.. against lower food prices, and,.. against strengthening the US economy....Is this really the party you want to run this country?
With this track record of obstruction to exploiting vast US oil reserves (in ANWR, mountain states, Gulf of Mexico, eastern and western continental shelf) the American people would have to be insane to continue sending Democrats to Congress.. Unless, that is, people really want the nation's economy to collapse under the weight of grossly high fuel prices..
It's time voters dropped their allegiance to partisan politics. Don't support Republicans because they're Republicans. Don't support Democrats because they're Democrats. Support those candidates who understand that the American people do not want to pay higher prices for fuel when there is no good reason why they should! The alternative is to commit the United States to a path that will lead to economic chaos, soaring prices, and its collapse as a leader among nations..
Tomorrow, June 11 is the day for all of us to speak up and be heard by the legislature.
It is time to celebrate the 39th anniversary of Prop. 13 and the saving of our homes from government.
It is time to tell the legislature we do not want the democrats 6.4 BILLION dollars in tax increases and BILLIONS more in fee increases. It is time for us to remind them the GOVERNMENT budget needs to be cut, not the FAMILY budget.
This is an opportunity to make history.

Note to the GOP From an American Citizen
Much has been said and written about what the GOP needs to do to take back Congress or to at least remain relevant in American politics, but few are talking about the obstreperous elephant in the room, John McCain.

John McCain is on a mission to destroy the majority conservative wing of the Republican Party and to replace it with a version closely resembling a ‘Soros’-light’ Party – a party virtually indistinguishable from the Democrat Party. He loves to brag about “crossing the aisle” to join the left to create pieces of legislation and now he will likely govern with a Democrat majority in Congress if elected President. McCain uses the ruse of declaring he is able to ‘unite’ and ‘compromise’ on issues of great concern for our country. What he is compromising are our Constitutional freedoms and America’s sovereignty.
Our presumptive Republican nominee has a selfish streak a mile long. John McCain does not care if most of the Republican Party is unrepresented and Republican candidates are defeated because of his leftist, globalist positions. McCain wants to win without conservative votes and he certainly does not want anyone bucking him in Congress.
While embracing left-wing causes wholeheartedly, such as the United Nations’ global warming agenda, a big ‘no’ to drilling for oil in ANWAR or offshore to decrease U.S. foreign oil dependency, open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens, McCain believes he can capture the majority of the liberal and pro-open borders Republican and Independent votes along with enough Democrat votes to win the Presidency. As the base of the Republican Party is drifting away, the GOP needs to wake up to the fact that John McCain is busy putting holes in their candidates’ life rafts. A ‘brokered’ Republican convention and a Conservative candidate would be the best solution for the Party and America.
George Bush along with weak-willed Republican members of the Congress began the dilution of conservatism as defined by William F. Buckley, Jr. and President Ronald Reagan with their profound belief in governing according to the U.S. Constitution and with the intent of the Founding Fathers. Both men had an abiding love for the United States of America. The talking heads and magazines of the Mainstream Media and the Neo-cons are busily promoting the idea that conservatism has faded into obscurity in order to demoralize us. Don’t be fooled by their wistful propaganda. We keep hearing from them we need “a unity party”. What they are actually saying is the Constitution of the United States is obsolete.
A move to the left and globalism, without opposition in Congress, will occur if McCain is elected President. What can be expected from McCain, the Democrats and a few renegade Republicans will be attempts to enable domination of the corrupt United Nations over U.S. policy, treaties benefiting other countries at the expense of U.S. sovereignty along with the transfer of U.S. wealth out of the country, such as the Law of the Sea Treaty, Western Hemispheric treaties implemented by the Organization of American States, and NAFTA-like free trade agreements. This entire agenda is replete with open borders, amnesty, and socialism. McCain fails to mention the enormous cost of his agenda to taxpayers (amnesty alone will be in the TRILLIONS of dollars, according to Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation, as 30 million+ low-skilled workers enter the workforce), to our standard of living and our economy, to our self-determination as a free nation, and most of all, to our Constitutionally-guaranteed rights and freedoms.
John McCain’s agenda will be pursued against the will of the majority of the American people. These are positions McCain has supported in the past, though Candidate McCain currently tries to run from many of them. McCain has never paid heed to the will of “we the people” when enacting or trying to enact anti-free speech, anti-second amendment, massive crippling amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and their families, including criminal aliens (he voted against an amendment to his comprehensive amnesty bill last summer barring criminal aliens, terror suspects and gang members from U.S. citizenship), and opposition to the Bush tax cuts. Just as he turned his back on the POW/MIAs left behind in Vietnam and denigrated their families, he will ignore the American people and disrespect our Constitution.
However, there will be one big problem for McCain and Company: the core principles of conservatives within the Republican Party and within America have not diminished but continue to remain strong and spread as Americans awaken to what is being done to this country. What the Party needs now is conservative leadership in Congress, in spite of and instead of, John McCain, and not a shift toward the policies of George Soros, his benefactor. Conservative principles are what the GOP refused to stand for in the years leading up to the elections of 2006. This is why they are apparently willing to follow candidate McCain, like lemmings over the cliff.

At the core of Conservatism is loyalty to the United States Constitution, and a commitment to uphold the enduring principles of liberty and the God-given ‘inalienable’ rights this founding document protects. A conservative platform will bring voters to the polls. The John McCains of this world know this and they desperately want the Constitution, and its proponents, to disappear so they can enact their globalist agenda under the auspices of the United Nations. The Neo-cons and internationalists want to change this country beyond recognition. They must either destroy or go around the Constitution to accomplish this.
The GOP needs more outspoken, unabashed conservatives, like Representative Walter Jones (R) of North Carolina. Representative Jones should be the template for all GOP candidates. He has integrity, honesty, steadfast beliefs, and he loves the U.S. Constitution. He is also a servant to his constituents and speaks the truth in spite of the possible political consequences. Such courage is rare in Washington, yet is a trait most Americans are desperate to find in their elected officials. Congressman Jones gave his Bush administration-backed North Carolina primary opponent a solid thumping at the polls because of his character and his belief in America and our Constitution. Like Walter Jones, conservatives need to worry less about the party and more about the country,
If the Republican National Committee will not have the courage to heed the calls for a ‘brokered convention’ to stop the ill-advised, dubious McCain nomination, then Republican candidates need to stand strongly against his plans to further undermine the U.S. Constitution and self-determination as a nation and as citizens in a free society. McCain already had a history of intentionally poking Republican Congressmen in the eye, as with his “Gang of 14”, halting the appointment of strict Constitutionalist judges. It is clear John McCain left the Republican Party a long time ago and now it is time for the Grand Old Party to leave him—for the sake of the country.
Republican Senators and Congressmen, take a principled stand and apply conservative, Constitutionally sound solutions to today’s problems. Fight for the United States Constitution, instead of losing your seats because you have sold your soul and sold out your country.
