Confronting the Madness

As saddening as it is to hear of yet one more killing in that region, the death of Mrs. Bhutto should come as no surprise, for despite the predictable attempts of the leftist media to glorify her... she was anything but a Patron Saint to any but the most corrupt liberals.

While pretending to represent "moderation" and peaceful compromise; Mrs. Bhutto was in fact a "radical" in her own right. Her biographical history reads like a rap sheet belonging to the most criminally corrupt.

Having twice served as Prime Minister in Pakistan she was forced from office in disgrace for infamous corruption on an international scale - a thing hard to do in an already corruption prone Pakistan.
And while posing as a representative of the "down-trodden", her Swiss Bank accounts where she and her husband had secreted away Millions in swindled funds while in power, reportedly contain over 1.5 Billion dollars!
The late Mrs. Bhutto may have thought Socialism a good political vehicle for her ideological liberalism, but she was an avaricious, money-grubber at heart.

It seems however that having been several times indicted for fraud and political corruption now qualifies one for sainthood amongst some.
With such being the case, we can better understand how such an untenable person as Hillary Clinton could actually be considered by some as a viable option for our next President.

God save the Nation.

outstanding point. I had a similar thought when I heard the outcry over her death. Not all Pakis are saddened by her passing.

What does Hillary Clinton have to do with Benazir Bhutto? It's a bit insulting to accuse one of our own politicians of corruption, don't you think? Our politicians would never do anything remotely illegal or engage themselves in any form of misconduct. That only happens in other countries, not ours. Never.

I don't know enough about Bhutto to comment on her past or her bank account . I think it's horrible that someone out right assasinated her . It reminded me of the assasination of Martin Luther King , Bobby Kennedy and John F . Kennedy . It seems that when someone is out spoken about democracy and peace to the people , some hate group plots to kill them . Like the old saying goes " it seems only the good die young "

Well I guess the Bush Administration is a lelftist government then for they are the ones praising her. I just think it is wrong to label things that you don't know what you are commenting about and contradicting.
Thousands of people know about this lady in Pakistan and they also know that she is the lesser of two evils. This is not about a lelftist anything. My God stop this!!

The only thing standing between Al Qaeda and nuclear weapons now is Musharaff, and they've already tried to kill hem three times. If he falls the world is SCREWED! The most logical thing to do now is just invade Pakistan before it's too late. We have troops right on the other side of the border and we have every right in the world to take out the Al Qaeda headquarters.

Who could complain about keeping Al Qaeda from possessing nukes? I think we all know the answer.

Turns out, that she died not due to the shooting but when she jumped down in her limo, her head hit the sunroof door on the right side I think and fractured her skull. She died basically due to her accidentely slamming her own head against the dunroof door. The assasin bullet never touch her.

So what happends to all that money

A woman AND a secularist.

Not a good combo in a country of radical Muslims.

Even if she had been elected she never would have been a successful ruler.

These are all good points and I will only add that as she spoke out about "freedom" she meant freedom for her own circle of supporters, a certain level of society in Pakistan which feels that it has the right to rule the rest. She did not care about the poor at all...if so she could have done more while she was in power.

Is that right about the skull fracture? Amazing.

If being investigated was a crime then Bush would be in jail along with Hill.
I am not sure why all you hate Bhutto? She was no saint but in a country full of corrupt and flawed leaders she was pretty much the best of the worst. In Pakistan a liberal leader would be considered a conservative and a conservative would be considered a terrorist here.

Attempting to compare the late Mrs. Bhutto with the likes of John & Robert Kennedy or MLK is near hilarious in its irony. The Kennedy’s both served a legitimately democratic government as a force for good. They especially sought to root out corruption and opposed leftist governments such as that found in Cuba. And as for MLK: He was a revered leader striving for equal rights among all.

By contrast Mrs. Bhutto came from a rich ruling class family whose corruption would make even the Mafia Robert Kennedy fought look childish. Notwithstanding, she became the de-facto Leader of the most militant left-wing Socialist party in Pakistan... the “PPP”. Twice in power, she led the Pakistani Nation into periods of corruption never before seen, while personally enriching herself. She did absolutely nothing to remove the class barriers so prevalent in that Nation. And why should she? Her Family occupied the very top rungs of that social ladder.
As for her vaunted gender-equalitarianism: It never served any further purpose than to promote her own acceptance to leadership in a Country historically dominated by men. Her record is clear on this: Having twice been empowered to implement her oft promised reforms, she never delivered.
I should hasten to add that neither the Kennedy’s, nor Martin Luther King ever had International Warrants issued for their arrest & trial on fraud & corruption charges. France, Poland, Switzerland, and Spain as well as Pakistan sought and received indictments against the Bhuttos.
The late Mrs. Bhutto was anything but the “lesser of two evils”; she was in f

(continued)
The late Mrs. Bhutto was anything but the “lesser of two evils”; she was in fact a female twin. There remain even better choices to the Pakistani people today; i.e. restoring the Parliament.
With a Husband dubbed “Mr. Ten Percent” for all of the illegal kick-backs he extorted from others, and a lingering suspicion of killing even her own Family members who represented a possible threat to her rise to power; a say again – The late Mrs. Bhutto was no Saint.

My main concern right at the moment is for Bhutto's family...I hope they get through their grief over losing a loved one. Assassinations seem to have 1 serious negative effect: Turmoil. I just hope we don't have something like that happen in our next administration, no matter who gets in. God hates murder!

And yes, pray for all the nations!

Oh man. Listen to the Loony Libs praising Bhutto for swindling Pakistan out of billions. WOW! She thought she was gonna waltz right on in there, take over from Musharef, and Al-Qaeda shot her a**. These narcissistic people are not hard to figure out...

My Family has been here since before America became a Nation, yet I do not flaunt that as cause for me to complain about being a LOYAL American Citizen. Any notions of compromise on enforcement of our already existent immigration laws is a treasonous betrayal against all those who have immigrated here LAWFULLY.
