SUPER-bowl...literally

Well...well...well

I'm not sure how many of you tuned into the game yesterday for the game...the commercials..the halftime show...or Jillian but whatever you tuned in for you got a treat!

I'm a football fan through and through so yesterday's game was like Utopia for me..the biggest game onthe biggest stage going right down to the wire.  Steve and I talked about it on the air this morning...it was a game that lived up to the hype.  I will be the first to admit I thought the Giants had NO chance...didn't even think it would be close...I thought the final score would be like the Bears/Patriots game from 1985 46-10.  But boy was I wrong...and pleasantly surprised at this game.  It was a defensive clinic!  The Giants defense was spectacular..Tom Brady barely had time to say, "Gisele" before he had an Osi, a Tuck, or a Strahan in his grill....wow.

We saw a coming of age with Eli as well...no longer Payton's Bro...and let me put my skirt on for a sec...how awesome was it to see Payton's in the suite at the gae happier than anyone in the stadium for his little brother...very cool.

Congrats to the Giants....2008 Superbowl Champs!

By the way I loved everyaspect of the game...even To petty at halftime..at first I thought..Tom Petty? Huh?  But during the halftime show I found myself singing along to every song and he sounded great!  I also thought Pam Oliver's interview with Plaxico Burress at the end of the game was a classic and when he broke down i almost did too.  Also Kudos to FOX for giving us, what i think is the best piece of video of the whole gae and it came after the ghae was over...FOX got video during warm-ups of Eli Manning and Plaxico Burress practicing the exact touchdown play that won the the game...they ran that and then the shot from the game..it was great...way to go David Hill and Scott Ackerson.

Those are my thoghts..oh and my fav commercial...the Ben Rothliesberger/American Idol spot....let's talk.

Hey Nischelle, I was spouting off the Patriot's would be the winners easy in the 1st turnover well I am here as a Raiders fan to EAT MY WORDS ha ha but I wouldn't want to wake up a Patriot today yes it was a very good game, half time, commercials Jillian You Nischelle this morning all was very good still would have loved to see the 1st perfect season ever ya no? I too as i die hard RAM fan whose season lately ends at the coin flip opening day..thought the PATS would roll especially after a weeks rest ..the last time they had a week off they came back and beat the only real team from New York the Buffalo Bills and put up over 50 pts..it was an exciting game though and i cant wait for next seasons opening day when my RAMS will be tied for first place ...at least until the coin flip..

happy superbowl nischelle,
the best commercial was the lizards dancing to thriller!
was rooting for the underdog giants,great game!
the GIANTS killed em,there were no bad calls or fluke plays for pats fans to complain about.


nischelle,
it is time to start giving kobe some credit for doing exactly what people say he doesnt do,that he make his teamates better and plays team basketball.also,what about m.kuptchek for g.m. of the yr.

as of right now the shaq trade resulted in us having -lamar,gasol and farmar through a pick from miami.


i cnnot believe that fox doesnt use you for the bowl,nothing against jillian,but you could do just as good a job,even better!

btw-you look better everyday.

I'm so happy that the Giants won! I'm not a Giants fan or anything I just hate the Patriots ;P. During the last 5 minutes they turned around and kicked some serious Patriot a--! Loved it!

I liked the talking stain commercial. It was the only one that made me really laugh.

Look out for the Cowboys next year ;)

blcoffman--i di kind of want to see the "PERFECT" season, but I found myself getting caught up in the madness of the Giants once the gae was on..I didn't really care who won cause neither team I like was in it.

nischelle you have many valentines across l.a.,anyone who watches the show would agree with me.
I want you to know that its o.k. to be single,even fun!.married people will always ask people like you and me,"when you gonna get married" I tell them after ONE of my friends marrieges lasts more than 5 yrs.
a woman like you has to be selective.

what makes me laugh is everytime that you say that you are single there is some poor guy thinking ,"WHAT HAPPENED?". also quite a few guys thinking"I GOT A CHANCE".

I hope you are having a great day! I see you saw the blog that Scott posted. You and Bobby D. are great together! Nischelle, i like your boots you had on this morning.Grey is so fitting in the rain,did you really not know that the camera was rolling? You look like you was ready to cry,because you were cold. You just have to be cold for a short few minutes! Your funny Nischelle. Tell Jillian she laughs like Hilary Clinton,they have the exact same laugh.... But Nischelle you have a great weekend,fox is great,the info they gave out yesterday about the job fair yesterday was very helpful,i told several people about it,and actual went by myself briefly on yesterday! Nischelle_Turner

Nischelle came to FOX 11 in September of 2004 and in January of 2005 became a permanent member of Good Day LA. In August of 2005 Nischelle returned to New Orleans to report on Hurricane Katrina. It was during those 14 days covering the aftermath of the storm that changed Nischelle forever. Not only did she experience personal and professional tragedy, she also saw a growth in the human spirit that will never leave her. Nischelle won numerous awards for her reporting during the storm including the California Junior Chamber of Commerce's "Outstanding Young Californian" Award.
