Hey All....

Ok....this month is bliss for me but a little much at times. If you love sports I dare say October is the month for you....why? Let me run it down....Your right in the heart of NFL time..and college football....the NBA starts back up...it's Worlds Series time..hockey is on the ice and I even saw track and field on TV the other day...wow! If you love sports it doesn't get any better than this.

What do you think? What is your favorite sports time of the year?

And, by the way, even though my Saints are 0-3..I still believe. I will not vacillate!!! And I actually feel pretty good today cause yesterday my Chiefs put a whoopin' on those Chargers!

HOLLA!!!

The Chiefs over the Chargers? Arizona over Pittsburgh? The Saints cant win? The universe is out of allignment........Maybe Dr Phil can help shed some light on this phenomenon

i'm not a sport fan,so anytime of the season when most sports seasons have come to end is the best time for me. yeah. that's my answer and i'm sticking to it.

but your right october is the best time of the year. my b.day is coming up, i love the horror movies they play on tv, and it's the begining of fall. the time of year where everything begins to die. yeah. i also love the cool autumn wind. plus it reminds me that chrismas and thanksgiving is almost here. can't wait to see the peanuts cartoon specials too, not to mention the simpsons halloween specials.

by the way nischelle, did you catch the last ufc pay per view. if you didnt you missed out on some great fights.

1. shogun (ranked #1 in the world) lost to forrest griffen

2. cro cop lost to chieck congo in the upset of the year

3. keith jardine won in a split decision against the former ufc light heavyweight champion chuck liddel. i couldn't believe that. that was amazing. it was a night of great fights. those are just a few that i wanted to tell ya about.

Hey Nischelle! I'm into the b-ball time of year, more specifically the Lakers! They have an excellent chance this year, at being #1 by season's end! Sorry to hear about your Saint's....:( but they'll get it together soon, hopefully. I'm a Niner's fan by the way so I can't really have too many feelings for the Saint's. No disrespect of course......by the way and, I'm gonna just put it out there....I'd be very honored if we could meet up grab, a bite to eat, and check out a game sometime. It doesn't matter what game it is. Let me know.......eddieharrisla@aol.com

So I hear. Thanks Doug! By the way I think the Rams have a good shot at running over the Cards next week. As for Nischelle's Saint's......"Not so much". They've got a tough one ahead of them next week.

Nischelle, how many teams are you pulling for? The Saints, the Chiefs..... I can understand the Saints, but how do the Chiefs fit in?

badbrad---i agree i'll blame it on global warming

samo--how dare you say you're not a sports fan...you so are!!!!! you love the UFC and you always tell me everything about the sport and keep me up to date on thge happenings so I would absolutely say you are a sports fan! Don't sell yourself short just cause you don't like our "mainstrem" stuff.

eddie--I'm glad you are optimistic about the Lakers..you seem to be just about the only one out there who is optimistic. and I pull for two teams only!!!!! The chiefs I have grown up with...I'm from Missouri so I love Arrowhead Stadium...there is nothing like seeing a game there. The Saints cause when I moved to New Orleans i fell in love with them. Not a Rams fan..sorry!!!! And you are sweet but I have enough man trouble! :)

doug--I know..I know...I'm down your down...let's be down together. :( (like four flat tires)

lilmomma---you may be right! The cowboys look ridiculously good right now...but all I have to hear about is the cowboys from my uncle Floyd...enough!!!!!!!

good responses keep 'em coming y'all

I hear you. I assure you though that I would not add to your trouble! Don't have time for that kind of stuff....... I forgot that you were from Missouri, my bad. So which basketball team are you pulling for? Now that you're in L.A. you are going to be pulling for the Lakers, right? I mean D-Fish is back and Luke and Farmar are gonna be major threats this year as long as they stay healthy.

If B-ball goes the same way as football, you'd be better off joining the clipper nation Nischelle

Nischelle, this is a great time of year, I think only March Madness beats it.

So you're both a Saints and a Chiefs fan? What if they meet in the Super Bowl? Who do you choose?

And please tell me Drew Brees is going to turn it around! I have him on my fantasy team and he's killing me.

i dont think of ufc as a sport. i kinda think of it more at the level of pro-wrestling/ reality tv. but if you think it's a sport, then i guess i am a sport fan. i just think sports have to deal with some sort of ball. that's my logic.

as for superbowl predictions. i'm going out on a limb here but i'm guessing the pittsburg pirates are gonna win it. lol. j/k i'm not that clueless on sports.

hello...

eddie--will I pull for the Lakers? Hmmm...have to admit of all sports I don't invest as much in basketball as I do football or baseball so I don't really have a team I "pull" for. I do REALLY like Kevin Garnett (he is my b-ball crush) so I guess I'll indiviually pull for him, but I would like to see the Lakers do well.

samo---what about boxing or track and field or racing those are all aports to me.

ddain--you're right march madness is a GREAT time of year even people who don't consider themsleves sports fans get caught up in the pagentry. You know I was juat thinking about that the other day if the Saints and Chiefs meet upin the Superbowl..first of all the day that happens is the day you see me running down the 110 freeway butthole naked singing "I'm a yankee doodle dandee", but really that would be a tough one...I would probably just be so happy that both loves are there I wouldn't care.

crafty--BOSOX? wow you are brave my friend. but you are right this time of year is heaven for die hard sportos.

By the way....who thinks the Angels are goona pull it off against the Red Sox (we already know how crafty thinks)

nischelle,
i can tell by ur blogs that u r not a kobe fan and i am going to slowly bring u around.
as a lifelong laker fan i feel the need to explain why we will always love kobe.
1.he is like our son,we watched him grow into a great player.
2.shaq was rented and was jealous when they sighned kobe to max deal first, why couldnt worry about his own deal.
3.phil was also up for a new deal, thats why he left and came back when the deal was right.
4.everybody wanted to be first and mngt chose kobe its as simple as that, all kobe did was work hard and put himself a stong free agent position just like shaq years before.

more to come......
