Looks like Texas had $1.5 billion left over from last year. So their giving businesses tax credits this year. I'm all for that if it helps the mom and pops but somehow I doubt they fit into that scheme.

I guess our state must have crime way down, splendid education, clean air and water... and the roads? Best in the world!

Texas had $1.5 billion left over from last year because they overcharged Texans $1.5 billion for goods and services. Governments are not supposed to make money.

I am a MyFoxLocal user who is tired of seeing that I haven't yet written a bio. I grew up in RR but moved to the southside as soon as I could. Things are a little less hectic here, and that's what I like. I also enjoy spirited debates, mostly political and am more than willing to change my views when evidence says I should. No, I'm not a flip-flopper. I actually weigh all evidence to an outcome that I believe is the most sound, and evidence can sometimes change just as people can as well.
