Dear Simon, Paula & Randy (dog)

Blake---'bubble gum'

Jordin--still 'pitchy'

Teeny bopping texters know little about talent, which is why Melinda Doolittle went home.

I rarely comment on these things, but this takes the cake.

Beep-Beep,
Palmdale

What a bunch of morons. Sorry. What a bunch of tone deaf morons. This is what happens when teens and kids get to vote. They vote for the opposite of talent which is Blake Lewis. Jordin deserves to be there, but not Blake he is just a b-boxing Sanjaya. A sad day for A.I. i'm through watching it this season it's all a bunch a bull maybe next season they can take a page from dancing with the stars and let the judges play a bigger role in the critical stages as well b/c those Blake fans really don't have a dang on clue about talent.

Both of the remaining kids are cute and have some talent....BUT, Melinda is the true American Idol, the judges know it the grown ups know it. It was shocking and sad to see Melinda go. SIMMON take back the voting or this will continue. As harsh as Simmon may seem he is always right in the end. He predicted Carry Underwoods success and low and behold he was right.
Melinda! You are the real AMeRiCaN IDoL! We love you.

And I won't be watching the show the rest of the season either. Nothing worth watching with Melinda gone. :(

This is absolutely ridiculous!!! A bunch of tone deaf teenie bopper, who should be in bed, or better yet, doing their homework; are distroying the whole concept of the show. First, we had to suffer through Sanjaya. Now, we have to suffer through, semi-talented, Blake. Melinda was in a league of her own, and everyone knows Blake couldn't touch her. His own parents have to know that. I saw the look on their faces. Especially his mother's face. Well, I'm done watching A.I. At least until they revamp the voting process.

everyones making a big deal about melinda getting kicked off. u wanna know why i never voted for melinda? she has no confidence when it comes time to speak. if she would bring the same personality that she has when she performs to the mich when she is speaking, i might of voted for her. shes boring but she can sing. an american idol should have personality and confindence and she has none.
from, amy in rancho cucamonga.

melinda is boring and has no personality or confidence. whats the big deal. she can sing but being an a.i. involves speaking in front of the camera and when melinda does, she kills it.

Dorthy, go back and watch the first 15 minutes or so, and you will see that Ryan Seacrest slips up on Idol.
After he spoke with Jordan, just before they go on commercial brake, as the camera is pulling back you will hear Ryan yell out that Malinda is going home tonight.
Malinda herd it.....

I hope the sponsors are happy, they have decided that the spoiled brats of America determine how we are to be entertained. Either that or it is fixed.
Either way it is the trend of today’s society.
Mark me as another who will not bother watching again.

Amy from Rancho Cucamonga---American Idol is a "SINGING CONTEST."

Melinda Doolittle is college educated and trained, which makes her a stand out. Go to college and you will understand her humble vocabulary.

If I want to be entertained by blake the 'bubble gum babcock' and Jordin the 'pitchy princess...' I'll go to the zoo.

Your blog shows ignorange kid...now get lost.

I agree beepbeep amy does has alot of growing up to do . Melinda is a well mannered woman who took her dimissal very good. she is a true entertainer just as SANJAYA was i think he took all the crap but he kept going you gotta give him KUDOS for hir courage!!! I think SANJAYA showed more talent and versatility than JORDIN. she just seemed to give the ame performance each week. THIS HAD TO BE FIXED THERE IS NO WAY IT SHOULD HAVE TURNED OUR THIS WAY .. HMMMMMMM..... POLITICS !!!!

Amy have we forgetton the meaning of American Idol. It's not a popularity contest, a personality contest, or a confidence contest, it is a SINGING CONTEST. Melinda is by far the best SINGER and the best PERFORMER throughout the whole competition. Even though Sanjaya stayed longer than neccessary we all knew that those others were going to get the boot eventually. Damn Kids. Well until the next disappointing season.

I'm standing up for Amy, are we watching the same T.V. show. Since when has A.I. ever been about talent alone. (AMERICA VOTED AND THE RESULTS ARE...) does that sound familiar. IT IS A POPULARITY CONTEST and it has been since the beginning. Don't get me wrong I think Blake should have gone home weeks ago, or even last night. Melinda is great but she doesn't have the marketability of Jordin. Jordin will win and I will buy her album at the first chance I get. GOOD JOB JORDAN.

I agree with waterboy, it's about marketability. I never vote for the contestanst on this show but this session the womens were far better than the previous sessions and I voted on every show this session. I will NEVER watch this show again if Blake wins. I love Melinda she is a class act. We need more mature singers like Stephaine Mills and Anita Baker. Melinda will go far and I wish her all the Blessings in the world. To Melinda "When one door closes another one opens". I truly hope Jordan wins, what choice do I have.... I am goiing to Boycot the final AI, I rather watch the results on the Fox 11 News.

O.K. after I buy the Jordin C.D. I'll be driving around in traffic fantasizing about her large marketably seductive oraface.

Then i'll listen to her pitchy tone, which songs make the coyote's 'head for the hills.'

I have to turn down the volume on the surround sound...when Jordin lets loose and belts out an out of toone tone.

Beep-Beep farts and chases his tail in agony!

What ever that means, Beep-Beep. I suppose you didn't like Bucky Covington last year either. Simon hated him, Pitchy, Sang through his nose, Vibrato to much. All Simons comments. Who's laughing now, Bucky has a top Ten song on the country charts. With people lineing up to buy his first album. I never said that I didn't like Melinda. I think she had the best voice of the final three. I am sure we will hear her heavenly voice sooner than we think on the radio. Good luck to Malinda.

MELINDA IS THE PROFESSIONAL , NO DOUBT . JORDON'S VOICE TREMBLES TOO MUCH , IT IRRITATES ME . I HOPE THAT BLAKE PUTS OUT AN ALBUM SOON ,I LOVE HIS VOICE AND I AM ANXIOUS TO BUY HIS MUSIC !

No argument that Melinda has the best voice, but doesn't have the personality or confidence to be thrust into the media frenzy limelight that each new idol deals with. While AI is a singing contest, it is also a contest for a new pop star, and she just doesn't fit the mold. Besides, we know she'll have a recording contract, plus, remember what Chris Daughtry said...NOT winning was bette for him. He wasn't under a contract for a year, and was able to put out a record of HIS choice. So, don't worry about Melinda.
