As much as I enjoy tuning each morning to my beloved Fox 8 News crew, as of late the stories of all the crimes is really dragging me down. Everyday someone is robbed, beaten, stabbed, shot or left alone in a crib in a daycare for 12 hours.....ect....What the heck is going on in Cleveland. It's beginning to compete with the crime rates of New York City or Los Angeles. If my entire family didn't live in the surrounding area I would move. Especially as a woman, I feel like I can't even walk my dogs in the park without my husband or my father! I do realize that statistics show crime rates and poverty levels go hand in hand so I hope whom ever takes over as President in Jan. , they have a solution to this growing epidemic in Northeast Ohio and help us take back our city!

WOW!!!!! Can we say privacy violation?????? How about HIPPA (health information privacy and portabality act of 1996) violation? If your employer provides you with "sick time" meaning you call in sick and they still pay you, than why should they care if you are sick or not.....when your time is used up and you call in sick then you are subject to disiplinary action at that time anyway. This really crosses alot of moral lines....People depend on EMS/Firemen yes, but they are people too and have other priorities just like everyone else and when they are sick or their child is sick or maybe they just can't do the job that day, they don't deserve to be harassed by a supervisor seeing if they are just acting. What's next? Do they come with their thermometers and blood pressure cuffs and examine the employee? Maybe they can send a physician to the house just in case it is a serious illness.......Does anyone else feel like we are loosing our freedoms and our rights to privacy one by one??????????

This has got to be the most ridiculous waste of news that I've heard for a while. How about moving the date of execution forward just for wasting more time and tax dollars??? It is just like the victims family said he is just using a stall tactic, however the fact that this story has made it all the way to the news and potentially the supreme court sickens me. Criminals already have it too easy. Perhaps we need to bring back some of the principles and practices from the days of Alcatraz. Take a look at the crime rates from that era and compare them to today's. People were afraid to go to prison back then. Now prison is sometimes better than their current arrangement. 3 cooked meals a day, clean clothes and shoes a warm bed with pillow and blanked, to me it sounds more like camp than punishment. Then this guy has the audacity to say that maybe a few extra needle pokes is cruel and unusual punishment??? Anyway, how did he get that fat in prison???? Somebody has been overfeeding that guy, maybe the prison officials can arrange for him to see a nutritionist to loose weight before October.
