Motox99's Blog

On a couple of Blogs the button to "Reply to this post" isn't there.  Can you set your Blog to not accept replies or is there a problem? I read the Blog about China imports and there's no way to reply to it and on the second page where I know I've replied to a Blog, the replies don't show up and again the reply button is gone. Is it just my computer?

No, there's nothing wrong - I think it's how the individual has it set so they don't have to receive comments to be posted on their blog. I know the one about which you are speaking. I think it's sad when comments are blocked by people, you know?

Thanks Clevebtch! I had no idea you could set that for your blog. I don't know how to do it either Ellak, never thought about blocking answers or comments that I've wrote.

I think clevebtch is right. If you go to your blog and go into settings there is a box there to enable comments. You have to have that box checked I think to allow comments to be made or come through.

Yeah, but where's the fun in it all? I mean, what's the sense in posting a blog if you don't accept comments? I think it's for the chickens who don't want people opposing what they have to say or to show them wrong or whatever. To me, blogging is a two-sided thing and about posting your thoughts and welcoming others' opinions and input.

Why bother to blog on a public forum if you are not going to allow others to comment? Even if they are rude and mean spirited? I enjoy reading different view points from different people. That's what makes things interesting. Oh, and Motox... Love the pic of the boxer. Looks just like my Jax but without all the gray on his face! Too cute!

Thank you everyone that llikes my furbuddies! lol The Boxer (Carmen)belongs to our oldest son. His ex-fiance parents bought it for them. > They thought it would make a good PRE Wedding gift! > Yea now they're broken up. Anyway the sickly looking kittens are a couple of the last 5 my son and I rescued from the lady who dumped all those off in the Metro Parks. The others are ours LOL ... Chow mix and 4 Cats + 1 Kitten. All dumpoffs, strays and we adopted the dog from the Humane Society. Thanks again! :o) Love yours as well! Very Cute!

Check out your local Shelter, Humane Society and APL for Beautiful animals like the one in my avatar! That's Chance our three legged Chow mix we adopted 2 1/2 years ago from the Lake County Humane Society! He gets along Great with our 4 indoor ONLY fixed cats ; ) and is a very well behaved dog. I'm glad his previous owner didn't want him anymore, 'cuz now WE got him! And Love him to pieces and he has the home he should have from the start. All our cats were DumpOffs as well. They too have their forever homes and are spoiled rotten! Also Huge Thanks to Dick Goddard for all you do for the animals! They have no voice of their own and you give that to them. And for those who have never met Dick he is just the sweetest person even off camera. Keep up the Great work Dick, they depend on people like you for their lives! ** UPDATE We Now have 5 cats. Someone dumped a kitten and her littermates at a Nursery in Perry and a worker told us it happens all the time. At least one kitten has a Loving, Happy Forever Home. I have an idea Get Your Cat Fixed and stop DUMPING the unwanted kittens. Our new addition is worth each and every dollar we're spending to get her Healthy. To whomever dumped her,I'm glad she didn't have to grow up in a home like yours. Thanks Humane Society Volunteer
