Reverend Jeremiah Wright--Clinton Pawn?

There's a Persian saying "It's better to have a smart enemy than a stupid friend."  I was praising Mr. Obama for having enough sense to stay away from Al Sharpton (a smart man), and Jesse Jackson (a hypocrite), but Reverend Wright does not grasp which side of the bread to which to apply the butter. 

It is not the side on which the bread is going to land when it is dropped.  Ok dumb dumb? 

Evidently Reverend Wright (I hope I spelled his name right) does not fear a John McCain Presidency, or else he is having his pockets relined at a New York tailor shop !

I like that quote Moogie, so true. As for a McCain Presidency, I'd take it over an Obama one any day. After all, tell me who your friends are, and I'll know what kind of person you are.

I have not yet heard the renunciation but I understand it did take place today. It must have been wrenching to renounce a former friend.

20 years, $25,000 a year donated to the rev's church. Praised him as his spiritual leader and mentor. Even Hillary can read between the lines.

Did anyone hear anything about the invitation to speak at the National Press Club (to Rev. Wright) coming from a Hillary backer? I heard it was in a Chicago paper but I haven't seen it yet.

I wouldn't say that, at least not yet, and I hope not. I cannot abide Hillary Clinton, and John McCain might wake up every morning thinking he's in Nam. I admire him, I just don't want his finger on all those red buttons.

What's your plan for ending the war in Iraq? (Nuking the country is not an option btw)

What's your plan for stabilizing our economy?

Education? Healthcare?

No need to ask about the illegal immigration problem, I think we all know the answer to that one :-)
