My computer (HP laptop) was showing the signs of loss of connectivity. I named my wireless assistant the little blue angel.. Well, it went orange. I couldn't make it blue again. I tried so many things. I even got a new router because I looked the old one up on my hubby's computer and it said EOL..<gasp> EOL = end of life.. no more support.. nothing. No firmware upgrades.
Still.. no little blue angel. (sad face). I looked up my HP online to find that many others had this issue with theirs! I say HP should have a recall and fix this issue.. Anyway.. today I went to Best Buy and had the Geek Squad look at it. They couldn't find a connection either. I ended up getting a USB (external) wireless adapter. Geez.. it's got an extention so I don't have to see that annoying ORANGE flash in the port. I don't care for things (attachments) hanging off my laptop. But, hey.. here I am.. wasn't easy. I don't recommend D-Link. The support is TERRIBLE. They had me changing settings after settings and asked me to go to the web and download an upgrade on the router (that I JUST purchased) .. there wasn't one. I went back in and ended up fixing the issues myself. (my method.. trial and error ...and error.. etc)
That was part one of my recent issues.. This has nothing to do with computers so if you read this far.. you're really bored, eh? My daughter's birthday was Monday. We went out to dinner. It was wonderful. The whole family was there. I bit down on my food and heard a crack.. oh no.. My filling had split down the middle. I have an appointment tomorrow to repair it. I'm afraid if I eat anything on that side, I'll be left with a gaping hole there. I want the feng sui (spelling) back in my life. Little things can really throw you off. I should have saved this up for Sophia's Thurs blog but I was so missing being online..
Yesterday, it rained but stopped long enough for me to release some pink balloons at the Pink Firetruck as it made it's stop here in Wentzville. I signed it. I met Dave, from Glendale, Az. Nice guy. Then, I went to work.
OK, that's it for now.. Glad to be back! Missed you all!

My daughter-in-law nominated me and I was chosen one of hundred breast cancer survivors to form a human pink ribbon during half time at the Rams game on September 28th! My husband and I went to the Edward Jones Dome for dinner and a practice. I met Will Weatherspoon..#51. What a nice guy!
I will be in the center of the ribbon. How cool is that?

I'm back... :)

"Tonight, I want to tell you the story of an empty stocking.
Once upon a midnight clear there was a child's cry.
A blazing star hung over a stable, and Wise Men came with birthday gifts.
We haven't forgotten that night down through the ages.
We celebrate it with a star hung on a Christmas tree, and a cry of bells, and gifts; especially with gifts.
We bind them and wrap them, and we put them under the tree.
You give me a tie, I give you a book, Aunt Martha always wanted an orange squeezer, Uncle Harry could use a new pipe; oh, we haven't forgotten anyone, adult or child. All the stockings are filled, all that is, except one, and we have forgotten even to hang it up! The stocking for the child born in a manger.
It's His birthday we are celebrating, you know. Don't let us ever forget that.
Let us ask ourselves what He would wish for most, and then let each of us put in his share - loving kindness, warm hearts, and an out-stretched hand -
all the shining gifts that make peace on earth."
This is from one of my favorite Christmas movies...
The Bishop's Wife.. If you get a chance... I highly recommend it.
What are your favorite Christmas movies/specials?

Hi Elfy.. You may be seasonal and make believe, but please add me to your friend's list. You would be the first to do this! Hopefully, not the last.
Have a Merry Christmas!
