A textbook monitoring group said that Maryland middle and high school students will be required to read about Islamic teachings that have been dumbed down and are products of political correctness.

According to the New York Examiner, a new report issued by the American Textbook Council said that administrators who approved books for use in the Montgomery County school district caved into pressure by pro-Islamic groups seeking to present a less violent interpretation of Islam.

Gilbert Sewall, director of the council, stated that, for example, the definition of jihad has gone through "amazing cultural reorchestration" in textbooks, losing any connotation of violence, the Examiner wrote.

Other terms, such as sharia law, have been adjusted or removed from lessons to avoid what he called "inconvenient truths."

Montgomery County Public Schools defended the decision to use the books, saying in a statement that all texts used by teachers had been properly vetted and were appropriate for classroom uses.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —  In a quiet, upscale neighborhood in Charlotte, N.C., rows of custom-style homes and neatly landscaped lawns represent the American dream.

But one local resident has shattered that image, calling for the death of American troops in Iraq and supporting Al Qaeda through his Web site, which he reportedly runs from his parents' home.

Samir Khan is the man behind Revolution.Muslimpad.com — a radical Islamic site that praises Usama bin Laden and asks for Allah to “curse more American soldiers.”

This misled (to the wrong religion) soul is merely saying what Islam really says.  He is not a mainstream Muslim, and he speaks the truth… about Islam.   The ‘holy’ Quran does call for the slaughter of non-Muslims, not willing to convert… so you and I.   Here it is copied and pasted (as I have many times in the past) from a ‘mainstream’ Islamic website (islamicity.com):

Would someone like to interpret?

I’m actually amazed this guy hasn’t been killed yet, being that he’s in ‘racist’ North Carolina (as it’s stereotypically known for).  I don’t think I would kill him myself; I’d rather get scum like him deported back to his scummy country.  My question is, why hasn’t this happened already?  He’s certainly promoting violence, intolerance, and death to the country that shelters him.  Oh wait, he’s hiding behind religion, and America has a non-logical way of approaching religions that are actually anti-U.S. and anti-freedom.   I don’t think the authors of the constitutions had the current situation in mind when they branded our country ‘free to practice any religion’.   They probably didn’t think that Islam would immigrate.

At the same time, you have Muslims in his own community condemning him. They obviously haven’t read their Quran’s.   They should be following him.  Instead, they do the civil thing which is go mainstream in order to stay in the country, and out of jail, and out of a noose that I’m sure would be tied by any patriotic American.

Report: Ahmadinejad Tells Japan to ‘Prepare for a World Without the U.S.’

AhMADinejad gets on my nerves on a daily basis.  Today, I had to take a breath before I wrote something too harsh… like, suppose, hoping for a turn in US foreign policy and possibly switching back to imperialism, taking over Iran, and making Ahmadinejad work the fields with his own personal plow.

Or maybe we can just go back to assassinating leaders that threaten to exterminate our allies or ourselves.  It would be less costly than a war, and it seems there’s a good amount of people, particularly opposition parties in his own country.  It is his country that is in shambles and on verge of collapse, not ours. 

Why do I hear nothing from our leaders on this; specifically our President?  I know that we’re trying to ‘stay above all that’, and that we’re better than them, but there comes a time when giving the cold shoulder gets me anxious.  Perhaps a cruise missile up his palace would shut him up.  The problem is, of course, that he takes us for weaklings, as do a lot of other nations that are seeing us not back up what we say.

I’m not so naïve in thinking the US will be around forever. It will certainly be around way past my death, but no country in the history of the world has stayed the same forever.  Our so far ~230 yrs are but a drop in the bucket of history.  It simply won’t be “Iran” that will take us out.  This man is a joke –more concerned with hanging gays and calling Israel names than taking care of his own economy and people.

My major is in economics, not human relations, so please forgive me if I offend you by saying the following.

I'm sure Muslims would love to do the punishment themselves.  It would probably be somwhere on the lines of picking out his eyes, or chopping off his head.  Sorry bozos, he's not Muslim, and he's not applicable to your barbaric Sharia Law.  In the end he shot a book.  I don't care that it was the 'holy' Quran, and frankly, neither does America when compared to what they want to do to him.  A loss in rank and reassignment is more than enough punishment according to the laws that he is applicable to. 

It seems these people have a one track mind. Pay no attention to the opportunity they've all been given... to govern themselves.  No, they do not deserve to, nor are they capable to.  Turning them into a democracy is futile.  They need an Islamic state that is U.S. friendly, like Saudi or Jordan.  This is how they live.  We shouldn't try to modify that culture, no matter how insane it is.

Liberals are babies.  They are immature, irrational, tattle-talers, and name-callers.  They can't do anything to President Bush legally, or defame him any further, so they have resorted to putting on a show for themselves. 

People are just obsessed with hating President Bush.  They'll take time out of their day to do nothing but talk smack like middle schoolers.  They're annoying but entertaining at times.

A group called the Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco has launched a ballot initiative that would rename a city sewage treatment plant the "George W. Bush Sewage Plant."

A petition is being circulated that would put the measure up for a vote in November. If it passes, it will rename the city's Oceanside Treatment Plant for the 43rd president of the United States.
