Harsh Times

...not about keeping out Mexicans, Muslims, or Canadians (halfway joking).  It's about keeping out creepshows, felons, 'evil doers', and cowards.  Since you can't tell the bad from the good, you have to screen everyone.  This is why border security, even before immigration law enforcement, is the most important in keeping legal American residents and Citizens safe.

I'm sure I have a post about his guy, but as I was going through a mugshot slide show that cbs4denver has, it reignited my fire.  This would be one of those 'cowards.'

To add to the problem, neither Mexico nor Canada will allow a killer to be extradited here to face the death penalty, no matter what crimes they have committed.

I don't have an axe to grind about the death penalty itself, but I think it is preposterous that they can tell us how to penalize criminals who kill our citizens, especially when they are here because of the corruption in their own countries!

This particular cop killer will live out his life as a well-fed, tax-payer supported gang member in prison, a luxury compared to the fate of his victim who gave his life protecting others. It gets me mad, too.

shhh MHP.The supporters want you to believe every Mexican that crosses the border could never do what this individual did. They don't have felons, 'evil doers', and cowards in Mexico. They are all good people. That's been their biggest augment for breaking our laws ,(we are all good people) yet we have countless examples , across the nations, of this type of character completely ruining forever the lives of legal american families.

I agree. Our government should not allow someone else to tell us how we should prosecute crimes committed in our country. That POS should have fried for what he did!

I'm from Buffalo NY and have been living in Denver now for 2 years. I really didn't see any Mexican people in Buffalo. It was mostly white and black folks. What I'm saying is I had no pre-conceived notions or stereotypes about Mexican people before moving here. Imagine my shock when I came here and discovered I was living in Mexico. It was expected that I speak Spanish....in AMERICA!

Generally speaking, the Mexican people I see and meet want me to embrace their culture. It got worse when I discovered just how many are here illegally and I pay to feed and medically care for them. Did I mention the graffiti I have to clean off my building on a weekly basis or be fined by the city? My taxes pay to clean up after their own gang member kids? Why aren't they watching them?

My father fought in a war that protected America and it's people....NOT MEXICO!

Hollywood-Jim - Someone in another blog mentioned how an illegal construction worker had taken a dump on the living floor of a house that had just been built.

So I think you SHOULD embrace their culture - go to one of their houses and pinch a loaf in the living room!

I would pinch a loaf on the floor, but I don't want to help them decorate!

Too funny! Well, you could drive through their neighborhoods with an American flag on your car and your stereo blasting. Of course you would have to leave lots of trash behind and call them racists if they don't like it. That seems to be their idea of culture.

Here's something else you won't here on the television. Mexican men (most that I encounter) all say their straight, but make it with dudes or t-girls which is fine I guess, but then they go home to a wife and kids. Sup wit dat?

BTW I manage Denver's largest adult store.

I do know that in that "culture", a lot of them rape and molest their own sisters and daughters. I've never known of one who wasn't abusive to the women in his family. The wives are nothing but baby factories to them. But they are descended from civilizations that sacrificed their smartest and most promising children, so I'm really not surprised. They managed to distill their gene pool into a cesspool.

Yes folks! With everything mentioned above I now declare America a sh*thole. American currency is being devalued at an alarming rate so lets's roll in the AMERO! Yeah!

"Generally speaking, the Mexican people I see and meet want me to embrace their culture."

The generally speaking disclaimer is always used when you want to vent or rant... which is exactly what you're doing. I guess it depends on who you know and who you come across. I've only come across one Mex family (illegal) that actually admitted to commiting fraud -stealing id's or not intending to pay back a loan. Less than 2% of Mex's I've come across friend or foe are stereotypical 'woman beaters'. I guess if you work at a porn store, you're gonna come across a lot of sh i t heads, then again, Whites are the number one subscibers to porn. Again, depends on who your company is.

Pinching a loaf: If you tried to do that in my home, i'd put one in your head, and two in your chest.

"raping and molesting, baby factories, decendants of sacrificers, gene pools and cesspools"

No doubt child abuse goes on, and there's a lot of s h it places in Mexico, but same is true for hillbilly, white trash, trailer trash, appalaki Americans. Stupid is the family that has 10 kids without the income to sustain them, but this comes from Catholic Doctrine. 99% of Mexicans or illegals you see here are a combination of Spanish and Native... so half White. There's a stinker.

US Dollar: is surely affected by transfers going out of the country, but moreso affected by net exports by US companies... the same ones who are outsourcing everything... don't turn Mexicans into 'Blame Bush' rhetoric.

Dre agreeing: dre, you agree with it because you're upset and you'd like it to be true

MHP hmm, maybe you have a point and maybe you miss the greater effort there. But,never the less, when the dust is clear , the border will still be wide open ,come tomorrow my friend. Why? Why is that? And let's all drop the rhetoric and anger for a moment. Why are we letting illegals come in from Mexico (and no other countries get this same benefit) at will? Lets start being honest about that one? I think you know that answer already MHP. So the question is , how does the everyday american take advantage of also making lots and lots of money off illegals?(like our government and protected businesses) Once we all can figure that one out.....our government will close those borders within 24 hours . I would bet my soul on it.......

Hey mhp - wanted to clarify that I wasn't trying to dis you, just the illegals who come here and sh** on America (literally AND symbolically). I'll never have any respect for them or for anyone who supports their cause, because they have no respect for my country. But I know you're not one of those poeple. And yeah, I know we have our share of Uncle Dads & Aunt Moms right here in the U.S. - just one more reason we don't need any more border-jumping criminals.

I've written an essay I was going to turn into a class, but ended up putting on the backburner for a while... might take it up again and modify it. It's on why Mexicans emmigrate to the U.S. I think I'll add to it, 'the effects on American society'.

Anyway, to dre: everyone takes advantage of everyone at some level, in my opin... Mexicans (speaking of the illegal type) take advantage of a porous border, a sympathetic society, a greedy society, a thriving economy.

Americans who employ them take advantage of their labor... cheap labor. Not having to sign them up for benefits, putting them in hazardous situations, and getting a bigger profit. Of course they're going to complain about having to go legit after years of coming to depend on this labor. Never should have happened in the first place.

Americans who sypathize for them hurt them. These people will never be anything more than drywallers, dishwashers, and weed-pullers with this encouragement... and they're too dumb to realize it because that's how they grew up and they'er being told to continue. A part of me thinks that liberals like for Mexicans to be in these type of positions so that they can look down on them. All of you here know that liberals already have a superiority complex. They also hurt them because these workers have no protections, and employers and society treat them unequally. Then, the Hispanic liberals claim to 'fight' for [illegal] workers' rights... where none are deserved -not because they're Mexican, but because they're not legal residents or citizens, and snuck in illegally!

Hollywood: No, in the fact that to be Mexican you have to be born in Mexico... not to be a smart alec.

I'm a 'Mexican-American' who doesn't need the prefix to identify himself. I'm happy just being 'American'. Kinda in the same way that Irish people in the U.S. are really proud to be Irish on St. Patty's, but the rest of the year, they're American -which is another characteristic that Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics (or any other minority group)who refer to themselves with the "prefix"-American have, and fail to realize that it isolates them, and creates animosity towards them.

DiMur, no worries. I've come across A LOT of Mexians who act this way... with disrespect toward women: catcalling, whistling, eye-googling, etc. Ones that drink and drink (yet I say this is not a characteristic of a Mexican, but rather the characteristic of most labor workers).
No doubt that most of the illegals here are from northern Mexico, and are fairly disliked by Mexicans in southern and Gulf regions of Mexico because of their character and personalities.
BUT, much like it would be innacurate to label all Republicans or Conservatives the same as Strom Thurman, it is wrong to do so with illegal Mex's.
