I'm a little blue this morning,  :-(   I think it's because of the gray skies. Or is it because it's back to work Monday? Hmmm...Not sure...But one thing is for sure I'm soooooooooooo ready for summer! Aren't you?
Yes---summer conditions bring new dangers like higher fire potential and heat related injuries, but hopefully everyone will be more diligent in taking greater care to prevent them.
So--that being said--I'm sooooooo ready for lots of sunshine, barbecues, bikinis and the beach!   Aren't you? If you are...I've got some good news...We'll get a "taste" of summer later this week. Yay! Wednesday through Friday, we'll see above normal temps and lots of sun. Enjoy it...as cooler temps and the marine layer will return just in time for the weekend. :-)

Summer is my favorite time of year too. I am sorry to hear that you are feeling blue... I hope that knowing that the sunshine is around the corner brightens your day.

I'm loving this cool weather myself. Moved here from Illinois near the Mississippi across from St Louis Missouri. The hot days in Los Angeles are better than the hot days in the mid west though for some odd reason. Is it the ocean?

Anywho... yeah I'm ready for bikinis too... but then I'm always ready for bikinis.

Reminds me of that Hawaiian Elvis song from the sixties, "Maria Quiban" in a hula skirt swaying back and forth while Elvis does the ukalaelae and sings Blue Christmas...

I agree with the lack of 100% humidity of the Far South! Bikinis flip flops, but not the sun burns in two seconds .

yes I exaggerated but I did not try and convict anyone with it; only prove my points...{shhhh do not let Maria know but I think she is just so hot!!}

i'm more of a fall/winter person. i think the clothing looks better on me then summer gear. i'm not really into sunshine and heat. i just don't like sweating, and i don't like the light. it burns. lol. give me the cold winter chill or rainy day over a hot summer day anyday.

I'm not looking foward to the heat (slows me down), but I'm certainly looking forward to the time off and some badly needed down time.

Then again, who doesn't love bikinis?
