Saw the reunion concert of THE POLICE in Las Vegas this past weekend. So much fun! Here is the set list.

Message In A Bottle
Synchronicity II
Don't Stand So Close to Me
Voices Inside My Head
When The World Is Running Down
Spirits In The Material World
Driven To Tears
Walking On The Moon
Truth Hits Everybody
Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
Wrapped Around Your Finger
The Bed's Too Big Without You
De Do Do Do De Da Da Da
Invisible Sun
Walking in Your Footsteps
Can't Stand Losing You
Roxanne
King Of Pain
So Lonely
Every Breath You Take
Next To You

I was disappointed they didn't play "tea in the sahara'. That's one of my favorites.

A tip: don't leave right away...as they do come back out again and again. I thought it was over after 'every breath you take'......but they came back out again!

Details: Stage was on the boring side. It was definitely not like the U2 stage in Vegas (which was the last concert I saw at the MGM)... I know I shouldn't compare but the stage was not as dynamic. They stayed in the same spots for most of the concert. There were huge Plasma Monitors up top...picture quality was very very clear! That was great, as we could see them all perfectly. There were some nice lights....smoke etc.

Stingo sounded fantastic...looked hot. I think he should have talked to us a little more though. Stewart was awesome! Truly one of the best musicians ever! Incredible on the drums. Andy completed the trio ripping on the guitar.

I think you'll enjoy it! They'll probably loosen up even more here in L.A.

Vegas was fun. Played some slots. Unfortunately, no jackpot. I'm done with the quarter machines. Picking up blackjack for next time!

Police is playing here in SoCal this week, have if you go.

glad you had fun. i'm going to see the 69 eyes in 2 weeks. last time i saw them play was at the house of blues. they were great. can't wait to see them. i'm not really into big stage set ups, i'm more into stage presence. when the band is just as jacked to play as you are to hear them. that what makes or breaks a band for me.

Maria

I love seeing old bands or reunion shows. You get to hear their BEST songs. Newer artists may only have a few hits and then you are stuck listening to a show with songs that wouldn't make your Ipod.

And, didn't Sting look great! I guess we should all take up yoga!

Aloha Maria
I know this is a few months late. I went to the Police show in LA at Dodger Stadium. It was an awesome show. I too wished they played Tea in the Sahara and Murder By Numbers as well. The only downside of the concert was the stupid parking at Dodger Stadium. There was absolutely no parking left people were making their own spots and they were still letting cars in, it took us 2 hours to park we missed the first act and we also missed the Foo Fighters set which i wanted to see it was bad. When we finally got into the stadium and got ot our seats the Police came on 15 mins after. Should have went to Vegas to see them lol.
