i wanted to share my vacation photos with you...plus tell you about an amazing website where you can save up to 50-percent on lodging for your roman holiday (i found out about it after we got back from our trip...and with the way the euro/dollar is right now, this would be a great savings for you!!!)

now onto my trip:The best part was spending 10 whole days with my husband. He planned the entire trip and did a magnificent job! hope you have fun summer

this is andy and me walking down some quaint street in rome...we had just eaten at this
restaurant called SABATINI....so good!



here's our carriage ride home from the coliseum back to the hotel, we stayed at the st. regis, it was sooo lovely.



one of my favorite restaurants in Rome was DAL BOLOGNESE, i wanted to eat there
because i remember tom cruise and katie holmes had one of their pre-wedding
dinner parties there and it's his favorite place (okay yes i am a huge dork!) but it was
really really amazing!



after three days in rome, we headed to positano...this is a boat ride to the
hotel after a lovely beachside lunch.








this was our hotel LE SIRENUSE in Positano...it was stunning!

this next picture is in Ravello, outside the PALAZZO SASSO hotel...believe me after the car ride there, i was as green as the dress i am wearing...that road is not for the weak of heart!


Next we spent three days in Capri...we stayed at the
CASA MORGANA, again with the breathtaking views!



we did a lot of walking on the trip which was great considering the amount of great food
and wine consumed on the trip, one of our favorite places was quite a steep hike down (which of course meant straight uphill after lunch)...it's called LA FONTELINA the best lobster i've ever had!





one really fun thing about capri, they'll make little sandals for your while you
wait...i got mine at COSTANZO...i was really excited when i found out sarah jessica parker
got her's there as well...i bought one pair...she got 16!

Wow Lisa!! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. I'm sure you had an awesome time by the look of your face. But where were your babies? Or was this a trip especially for you and your husband?

oh lisa! nice pics! travelling in italy is so romantic! roma, amalfi coast, capri. please post more pics. did you bring home any work clothes from positano? good advice on saving half is to wait until the dollar is stronger.

Super, super, super...you and Andy look just perfect. If there is a word picture perfect, this was it. Well glad you had a great time, of course you had to return to the current Roman Empire I am presuming in Bel Air???

vmendoza - the babies stayed at home, and my mom flew in to help! with our schedules my husband and i don't get to see each other that much, so this was just a special trip for us.
marv - as far as clothes, really only a super soft cashmere wrap made in capri, most of the stores they have there, we have here, and with the dollar sooo awful it didn't make much sense, although we got some cute things for the kids.
sebar - no bel air for us, something much more understated!

You two are so cute! You both look very happy and very much in love, How romantic..your hubby planning the trip. I'm glad you got some alone adult time. It seems like you had a great trip, and from what I can tell, your sandals are beautiful, hope they are comfy as well. Thank you for sharing your pictures with us all, they're great!

Wow Crafty I've been to that place...you are close by and with a Brooklyn accent too. From Brownsville originally? Lisa you misunderstood me. I meant there's no place like home, but come to think of it, there's no place like Rome either!

When in Rome, i have a sense of being home. taking a bus from the Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport, rounding a corner, my first sight of a well known structure was the coliseum. i had a gut feeling of cozyness as if i had been there many times before; having been taught Roman history three times and Latin for three years by the end of ninth grade. the Eternal City. the churches are beautiful. in Rome the ostentatious thing to do was to build a church.

Naw, Markiebaby was too busy doing the twist for Lauren Sanchez and delighting Christine Devine. I seem to recall recommending he do a new entertainment with both of those ladies as co-hosts or Lisa Breck as a co-host as he would have done well...Oh well Mr. E maybe Mark will take some time to talk, I have some ideas he might be able to use. He can always reach me through Ddain...as usual. Sorry to have missed you at the authorspen live chats. Next time maybe!

nice pics lisa! nice trip you and andy took! so what can you add to get jillian to think like an adult? i feel we need all of the ch 11 women to give her a confidence and get through to her that howard stern is not the messiah. please make the effort to turn jillian into a lady!
