yes that's my cheesy attempt to grab your attention...but i actually have been thinking about sex, a lot lately!

before my husband gets to excited, I am actually referring to the upcoming "sex and the city" movie.

this weekend i am flying to new york to screen the movie and interview all the stars, i am beyond excited, it's by far one of my all time favorite shows, never missed an episode, seen most of them at least twice in fact.

when i told the esteemed steve edwards i was going he laughed and said he was already sick of the over coverage of the movie, i told him he better get prepared i plan on doing atleast 17 more stories before it comes out...steve i hope you respond!

what about you guys did you like the show? could you relate to it? the fashions, the sex talk, the relationship issues?

i always enjoyed the fashion and how the show depicted the city, which was of course referred to as the fifth cast member.

and most women could relate to the characters in one way or another....who were you? i think i was always a cross between carrie and charlotte.

anyway, i have my perfect new outfit and shoes picked out....i am taking my camera, and i'll post my sex and the city diary next week!...i am also seeing the movie and doing the interviews for the prince caspian, so i'll let you know about that as well!

You are soooo lucky!! I am with you....I love, love, loved that show! My girlfriends and I would get together every Sunday night and have a little wine, some appetizers and watch it....a fun girls night! We were so disappointed when it ended....I was truly bummed. When I heard that they finally decided to do the movie, I was elated...YES!!

Some of my friends were single and some married but each one of us could relate in some way to the issues of each week. And let's not forget about the fashion..."THE SHOES"....awwww....lol!

My friends and I picked out who we thought was most like which character on the show...and they felt I was, (like you) most like a cross between Carrie and Charlotte....to funny.

I'm so excited for you! You are going to have so much fun, I can not wait to hear all about it when you get back. I have no doubt you'll look lovely..as always. You'll do great!!

Have fun....you lucky duck.

Lisa you are a classy, bright and very beautiful lady, but please don't go down the Dorothy Loose-eee route, it's bad enough with that woman already and Ho-Ho-Ho sitting opposite her, so bad that Dorothy now has to bring her young son on tv before the public and into a more adult situation. Sad, just sad!!!

hmm, i thought the show had it's moments, but didnt think it was very realistic to life. most of the women i know arent business women, or writers, or anything like that. mostly when they go to clubs, they tend to get hammered til they puke, unlike the show where they all seem to handle their liqour very well. but anyways, even though i'm a guy, i guess i would relate to the sex crazed one samantha. she's kinda corky, and has odd hang ups, but honest. so that would be me.

Dear Lisa,
Bignickib wants to know what your thoughts are on possibly replacing Dorothy Lucey on Good Day L.A.

What is your opinion on having to be having sex with the opposite gender .

and

What really matters to you other than sex .

From,
Bignickib

Since I have not followed the TV series much; I understand it has a large female base!

Think my ex used to watch it. I enjoyed several episodes. But I must admit, I feel the sitcom helps inflate stereo types; promotes a wildness that is fist fake and second may lead many into unsafe behaviors to fit in.

Yes it is only a show, a break from reality however it is money based, big money ruled, and profit leads it around by the nose which teaches indirectly the show's base or those that watch it to become "brainwashed" to a point.

You say I may be off? So what did you buy lately that was catalyzed from this show.

Well I would have to gather more data than I have currently to reply better to this question.

In close it was a TV show that is watched regularly not a one time venture. Weekly or daily flashed into the minds of its watchers.

Gun smoke portrayed the past, Star Trek the future of sorts.

well I am out of my area since I would have to watch/study the series.

It was fun, even gave me ideas of some conquests but then I am male. Not into buying dresses but I do admire a great dressed woman.

heck I am not making since at all
