bargains! bargains! bargains!

i rarely find a good bargain, just ask my husband! although i will say the dress i wore to the oscars was a "marchesa" and it was 70 percent off, it's the pink dress in the photos on my photo page.

in today's lisa's l.a. we featured this adorable shop...it's called "shareen's vintage" a random little shop in a warehouse in east l.a.

think "sex and the city", that's the type of clothing you'll find here...and the dresses are all around 30-bucks...no kidding...plus on the 3rd saturday of every month, the clothing is priced at just 1 to 3 bucks!!!!

that is a cute pink dress. looks great on ya. as for bargains, hmm, not sure of any place, but just hoping you could find a great place to buy boots for men. i love wearing boots, but it's so hard to find a shoe store that has a great selection. i love biker boots that are high, and have lots of buckles. i'm not into the doc's or lug types of shoes. so if you know any, please let me know, or i hope you do a segment on men's fashion. by men fashion, i don't mean suits and stuff, but real clothes that men wear on a daily basis.

beepbeep thanks for stopping by.

and sebar, before i never worried about anything...now as a mom i worry about everything from lead, to the stuff in plastic, and just making sure the kids hold my hand when we cross the street!

oh and i should have mentioned i want to give props to my field producer mimi brown, she put together the vintage stories. I need help getting everything together and she is one of the talented young field producers helping me out...she should really be on camera, she is just beautiful!

by the way how are everyone's allergies? mine have gone completely out of whack and my eye just swelled nearly shut...lovely, hopefully it will go done by 5 am tommorow! or it should be an interesting day on air!

Lisa, you are a very sharp and smart cookie, and most important, you have a family to love and care about. That last thing matters the most. Thank you for your professionalism. I honestly wish that Lisa Kridos could have you as the perm entertainment reporter. You are the one who is fair and balanced, and greatly refined in your career. Hopefully as time permits, we shall be greatly treated to your talents in shows in the future that you will entertain us all with.

Lisa,

About your allergies: here's a way to help fend them off: I buy a bottle of Bee Pollen from General Nutrition Centers, and it's supposed to help you build resistance to allergens in the air. It comes in several different strengths, and is natural, so hopefully you're not allergic to bees or any bee product such as honey. I also told Mark Thompson about this...if you run into him at the station, you might check and see if he has used this stuff and had any luck with it. It helps me build resistance to allergies, but as you know, results vary with everyone.

By the way, that's one nice pink dress you have!

And for PhilT.: great avatar guy! I've got to bring back one of the Peanuts gang into rotation myself, when the time and mood are right! I'll rally the Angels on now with one of my Anaheim Angels Avatars!
