every day i know one thing for sure...i am a very lucky girl!...okay maybe not so much a girl anymore as a woman about to turn 43! yikes!  And i am sure steve edwards would say to me why do you tell people your age, oh well,  back to feeling lucky.

here's just one of the reasons i feel that way: My husband!
I know on air he is often the butt of our jokes, most people if they watch the show know we have to sleep in different rooms as our work schedules are so different, that we never get to see each other, except for weekends, the list goes on.

but i will tell you he is one exceptional man and the perfect one for me.
just this week he brought me home my favorite banana chocolate cupcakes from sprinkles, it's the little things that always remind me that he is constantly thinking of ways to make me happy and feel loved.

he is also one of the funniest men i know, there isn't a day that goes by that he's not making me laugh...and he's also taught me not to take myself so seriously...

and i love seeing how he's grown as a daddy! infact i was thinking of posting a photo from our easter egg hunt this past weekend with the kids, but i think he would kill me as he was running around wearing bunny ears!

anyway, i hope you all have someone that helps make you feel lucky! i am sure there are "experts" out there who would say we should feel that way on our own, but i'll tell you there's nothing like having a partner in life that gives you that feeling!

gina, so sweet thanks, i love hearing from co-workers...by the way, gina i always think of the baby bijorn's you gave us for the babies when they were born, such a sweet time of being able to walk with them close to you.
and frogwyt, thanks for the compliment, i am the most fickle person about my hair, i've been to just about every stylist in town, currently i am going to a great guy named jason for cut, johnnie for color both at the chris mcmillian salon in b.h...but also i love lorenzo at the jose eber salon, have seen him on and off for years, he does jill's hair and my husbands hair as well!

43!, As I do not think that is old, I hope, and pray I look as wonderful as you when I am 43. Your hair always looks perfect by the way. I am about to get married in May and he makes me feel special, and I try to return the favor. Thanks for sharing and for filling in for Dorothy, We'll all miss you tomorrow.

43? Really? You don't look 43!

I know what you mean about birthdays... I turn 40 later on this year. I'll be celebrating the landmark in a big way... good seat packages to a Céline Dion concert. And then, not too long after that, a vacation to Los Angeles. Look at it this way... we're still on the correct side of the dirt! ;-) I just can't believe how quickly time is passing. I still feel like it was yesterday when I was in high school!! And then you realize it was over 20 years ago....

Of course, I'm biased towards the José Eber salon in BH. Have been a fan for yeeears. Can't say enough good about them!

One side note... will pictures of the bracelets Melissa made ("Knock Knock Makeover" who sadly is struggling with cancer) be posted on the FOX LA/"Good Day LA" web site?

Lisa, You are my favorite one on the show every morning. Your attitude, your sweet spirit, the adorable and modest outfits you wear, etc. You are genuine and are a gem. I was so happy when you had the twins and to hear about how they are doing, and now what a sweetie your hubby is....it just is so nice to hear!! God bless you guys and never change. You are just wonderful!!!

alex by the way is my dear brother in law! and a great commercial actor!
alex, did you see the pictures of the kids from our easter egg hunt? we showed them during the show.
alex actually took them, he's the best at capturing all our family moments! however we better check with andy about the bunny ears!

Lisa, you are surely a true lady and we, the American people look to you as the real American examples of a role model, not the phonies in this town. Please never change, just be who you are. I have always thought of you and Mister Cohen as great folks (not kissing up) which you both are and would never joke about him. He is a respectable gentleman in this town and worked very hard to be where he is. I am just very glad you both are here amongst your fellow Americans and artists as well. Take care, God bless and be well, and remember you aren't yet at the halfway mark in life. The second half really flies with lotsa fun, so get set for the even better half, cause its coming...

Lisa,

You are young! I just turned 45 in February, and I share a birthday with a famous basketball legend to the day (this guy played for the Phoenix Suns in his heyday). I won't mention who he is for the sake of his privacy and mine, but it's okay to guess who he is. You have plenty of class, and I'm giving you some ammo to use against anyone who makes a negative comment on aging! It's great being 40 something! Right? Right! You go girl!

hey lisa, all i have to say is that i'm only 25,and if you were single, and if i had a chance with ya i would take it. wow, 43, and you look that amazing and stunning. believe me, your looks is nothing to worry about.

as for your husband, i'm glad that he adores you and treats you so good. your a amazing person, and glad that you found someone that has made you complete.
