hey all,
wanted to catch up with some of your recent postings
(is that the right blog term? i am still so new to this all).

so aurora, send me your info you never know what could happen!
stranger things have happened, i met my dear husband when he came out to talk with me while i was covering a fatal accident on p.c.h.

sebar, yes i agree with you about liz, i love to see how see looks as well, such a pretty woman, and like most ladies it's always fun to see what everyone is wearing and how their hair and makeup looks!
beyond that she does a great job!

robin, yes elsie is my little princess!!!!
and ben reminds me he is my race car driver (that's what he tells me when i say he's my prince!
so tell me about you, your a telephone psychic? how does that work? don't you have to be in the person's presence? i once did a story while i worked in reno on a woman who was helping solve a murder. she was able to tell things about you by holding something of yours (she held my watch) some of the things made me laugh as she said some obvious things about my family (the watch was a rolex by the way)...but then some of the other things she said were right on, stuff like a scar on my knee from a sking accident that she could have no way of knowing...very interesting...
also almost two years ago right after my mother in law passed away, char came on the show and i ended up big time crying as she knew all about it (contrary to all the teasing the team here gives me, i don't think i cry more than anyone else here) although that day it was big time ugly cry on t.v....nice.

shalimar, very sweet you made my day...as you did too, d-rizzo!

auto bob, for the life of me, or anyone else here for that matter i don't remember a story with people wearing spandex, and we all love a good spandex story!

and finally mdgal, yes jose' and his team and really wonderful, i have to tell you monday as you know is typically the weekend for people in the hair industry, it's their day off...yet inspite of that jose' and the crew drive all over southern california with us, giving us their time and talent to help our viewers, they don't get paid for it at all...and the time constraints and even honestly some of the conditions we walk into are clearly not ideal, and yet they are always there smiling excited to do it. it's truely a blessing to be with them each week.
and here's a little secret....NEXT WEEKS MAKEOVER YOU JUST CAN'T MISS!!!!! it's really a truely special one, and unfortunately i'll be missing it. but it's for a really good reason, my little ones are turning 3 on monday so i am taking the day off to be with them all day long...3 years!!! i can't believe it, i feel like i've learned so much, changed so much, and had my life filled with so much love since those babies were born!

okay that's it for now!

Hi Lisa,

Just wanted to say i think you and the rest of the ladies are wonderful! I watch every morning. I even got my husband into the show.

Hey Lisa, how about a segment one of these days on L.A.'s "not so nice landlords" lol. I could tell you some stories about mine, good grief all the things they have put us through. I would just love for someone out there in the media to hear it. I am not the only one that has cheap, neglectful, rude landlords. Alot of people who do not deserve the treatment they are receiving, who pay their rent on time like us do deserve a lot better treatment and way of living.
Well i have blabbed to much already lol. Have a good morning Lisa.

Nena and Lisa: I can't believe there actually are others out there with lousy landlords! Does anyone have an "ABSENT" landlord? You know, the ones that live out of state and have an Agent representing them? How about having something going wrong with your toilet and not getting it fixed for three months? How about four dead trees in your front yard and the Agent takes five years to cut them down? How about the electrical system in the house that's screwed up and NOTHING is done? How about mold on the walls? I could go on and on. My mother got a snotty letter from the Agent practically berating my mom for wanting this stuff done! The trouble is, we can't afford to move. Yes Lisa, do a story on this! I'd put "LOL" here, but it's not funny anymore.

Lisa,
You are just adorable! You seem like such a sweet person. I appreciate when you get to fill in on GDLA, you always do a great job.

Even on the rare occasion if you make a little mistake here or there in a story, you handle it with grace and cuteness.

Thank you Misses Lisa B. Honestly, I consider you and most of the other Fox women to be the American ladies. In Liz's situation, she does have something very unique I have observed for a while. She can wear any color and she is okay with every color. Most women have a bad color but Liz has this unique aspect. I knew that TSH was going to go bust and wanted desperately for the Producers to fix the issues. As for you, I believe you have a tremendous career ahead on more documented media projects unlike Lauren Sanchez who has an acting potential on entertainment media projects. Leelila, Gina, Christine, Amy and others all have grand resource potentials for varying media projects both short term and long term. As for me, writing since 1974 and I'll continue as long as I am here. Together we all bring happiness in our work to all the grand folks who are Americans and beyond!

Hey there wacko,

i just read your blog, i am very sorry to hear about your issues with your landlord/agent. I really wish their would be some new laws implemented so that these neglectful and lousy landlords would be held responsible for their poor decisions and lack of respect towards their tennants. It seems like their is always some loop hole some clause that lets them get by with a small fine or slap on the hand.
My landlords(a husband and wife team)live in the "high end" of San Pedro. They own several properties along with the landladys mother( who i think is the real boss )well heck i am going to say their names because everything i say here is the truth so i am not going to be afraid. Sissa(Narcissa)and Alan Feinberg long time residents of San Pedro. These people have no respect for the privacy of their tennants, they come on the property when ever they feel like it, they even go in our back yard and just snoop around. One time they removed my green bin (for yard trimmings)and wheeled it to my neighbors place in front of me and used it for her weeds and cut grass. We pay the extra 15-20 dollars a month for the green bin. Funny how the bin was empty early in the morning the next day. After i had been yelling about it to my husband. The house i live in is literally falling apart. Their are holes all in the walls behind the bottom kitchen cupboards as if the drywall or plaster is just crumbling. Big nails sticking out of the cupboards, where a mickey mouse repair job had been done. I have already scratched myself pretty good on the screws. A couple of the outlets

Hi Lisa,

Very kind of you to respond to my comment. :-) While I was watching this past Monday's makeover, I heard you and José talk for a moment about next week's makeover person. Again, it's really great how you all are doing this. Positive human stories. The world needs more of those!

May you have a WONDERFUL day with your kids' birthday!

Lisa,

I'm just checking in to say that I enjoy reading your blog, and all the responses you are getting! I hope you can teach Mark Thompson some smooth grooves for his weather dance on My 13 News when he fills in for Maria Quiban. I've seen your moves when you fill in for Jillian...you are very smooth!

hey there nena and wacko, it's been a while since i've covered nasty landlord stories, but i'll tell you who you should contact: both gina silva and phil shuman do an awesome job of nailing the bad guys!
shans-deb, so sweet, the kind words are always appreciated!!! and believe me with live t-v mistakes are aplenty here, but i think that's what makes the show fun, everyone here is so good at going with the flow.
and mystere, i love when mark thompson dances on the my13news! he cracks me up...he's also a dear friend, infact he's the one who made the formal introduction between my husband and myself after the intial meeting while covering a story...mark calle and told me he had a friend he wanted to set me up with, and i said that guy? i thought he was a stalker or something!
oh and mdgal, yes i am so excited about this weekend, i am picking my mom up from the airport today, and looking forward to four days with the family!!!!

Lisa,

I do remember you and Mark talking about how you met your husband...you are so blessed to have Mark as a dear friend. I can relate to the things that go on during a live show; I work at KBRT radio behind the scenes, and I have done some live shows before as an operator and call screener (double duty). Jean and Tony also crack me up...Tony is one great sport! I just thought of a way to pull a funny on air gag with Tony...since he has mentioned that he's colorblind...how about having him wear something green like a neck tie, then have him do a dance on the weather wall? Now that would be a barrel of laughs on April 1st! If he's up to it, that would be so cool, and those viewers who haven't read your blog would be surprised to say the least. Perhaps you and Erica can discuss this with Tony to see if he'd be in on a gag.

Yes Lisa, I like "Markie Baby" too, he is one cool cat and he has a special talent in his voice. That voice is unique and in and of itself can lend to a large money making ability and even more fame if he plays or uses his voice right. Yeah the dancing works for me as well, I always think, "Go-Markie Baby-Go!!!" as if you could hardly guess. Well onto my L.A. Grudge Poems Volume 3 real soon, I love true poetry especially when it says it like it is. Volumes 1 & 2 still online lol...

Hi Lisa,

Hope your weekend was all you hoped, and that you did get to relax!

Yes, the story behind yesterday's "Knock Knock Makeover" candidate was touching! Only problem was that the live feed the makeover was streaming over (live feed 2) was of really poor quality, technically. Either the sound or the video was out while the makeover was being streamed. There was very little time where both were working correctly. So, it was really frustrating. But, I did get to see the results. Great job by the team.

Thanks again!!
