Hi there,
sorry it's been so long since i've blogged...it's crazy how busy we get with our own lives...and for me trying to balance work and mom to 2 1/2 year old twins!

but today i couldn't pass up the chance to ask you to watch a story i did!

i know the morning show may be a bit early for some of you, so i wanted to make sure you didn't miss my lisa's l.a. segment from today.

it's called "danny's farm"...i hope you take the time to watch it and i know if you do, you'll feel inspired.

it was a true honor to meet the gott family...in the words of jim gott (yes he is the former pitcher for the dodgers), once you go through the grieving process you take action and do what needs to be done not only for your family, but to hopefully help others.

they are definetly making a difference for countless people!

you'll find the story under the entertainment tab, and then go to the lisa's l.a. tab.

enjoy, and all the best this week of thanksgiving to you and your family!

me!

yup i catch the story today during the 6 am show. it was a great segment, and i'm glad that there are some celebrities that are doing a world of good for not only children, but for adults as well. i wish there were more people like the gott family out there, and i wish to hear more good stories like this on the news.

Sorry Lisa, you are one of my favs on the show, as you are so professional yet kind. I do so wish you could replace Jillian and sit opposite Dorothy Lucey. I know you are not as wild or as immature as Jillian and I respect your professionalism greatly. Thanks for all you do for the community. There is no price on helping others in need, and it is greatly appreciated by a vast majority of folks, good folks like yourself.

Lisa,

What can I say...Excellent doesn't even do this story justice...it is beyond excellent! As Mark Paul Sebar said, you are a professional! I always enjoy your segments, and by thw way, I also work in broadcasting as a behind the scenes guy in radio. I remember you as Lisa Monet when you first started working at Fox 11 on the 10:00 news many "moons" ago. Time flies quickly! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

thanks for all your sweet comments...i thought you might like the story.
wait till you see the story i am shooting today! it will be airing next wednesday morning!!!
yes having twins is the most fantastic thing! i laugh so hard each day at what they're saying, and i honestly feel like my heart gets a bit bigger every day with all the love i feel for them...although i will say i am a bit sleepy today, ben kept calling out every 20 minutes last night wanting more back rubs from mommy, then he'd make sure i did the same for elsie, so while my heart may be bigger, so too are the bags under my eyes today! :-)

AWESOME! It is best to have the family and folks for this one particular holiday. I find like Tony, this to be just one of my all time favorites. While I am no scrooge during the shopping season, I generally like to mostly window shop a lot and admire the warmth in the seasonal decorations. We are so blessed that we have this holiday and the love and warmth it brings everyone so to everyone here and Mrs. Lisa...and family. A very very Happy Thanksgiving!

Ahhhh, too stuffed from everything. Now I will have to go walk it all off and with my current bad foot, that one is gonna hurt for a while. Gawd, that Turkey really got back at me this year. Well it was fun seeing everyone for the holidays.

Hi Lisa,
I am posting a comment for a different reason. Two days ago my wife lost the diamond out of her wedding ring. We got married 3 years ago in Thousand oaks. We bought the ring at Robbins Bros., in canoga park. They told us that as long as the ring has been cleaned in the last 6 months they would replace it. Not of that was true. My wife went to the store to get it replaced the rules changed. They said they now need to ship it to corpoate as it is out of their hands. Corporate called my wife today and said "that it looks like the diamond may have been forced out"!!! My wife is devastated because of the holidays ect. Any chance a story like this might interest someone. I know it not world problem but it is very unfair. You may contact me or send any info to my email. ty@picturemill.com Thank you so much for your time.

A viewer.

Tyle

What a "Great" idea to answer our questions that we have about you. I truly enjoyed hearing your thoughts and learning a bit more about you. I adored you before, but wow, you really are a kind, sincere, classy lady! Your the real deal! And a little sassy too...Who knew?

I really hope FOX makes this a regular part of GDLA! I'm sure Jill will refuse to do it, but Dorothy should be a hoot!

Let's get Steve up there next!

Thanks for answering my question Lisa
