hey there,
did you see it or did you blink? last night i was on hbo's "entourage"...no i wasn't the topless girl in the hot-tub, i was playing myself...and i was on screen for about 5 seconds, and then you could hear my voice after that...but boy did we make the most of those 5 seconds.

the whole thing was a blast, the day i went to shoot the episode they gave me my own trailer, and one of the highlights was having the two kevin's "drama" and "e" come knock on my door and welcome me.

i was pretty nervous that day, when i drove onto the lot which was actually the parking lot at lax that day, one of the parking attendants recognized me from work. i told him how nervous i was and he said why? this is pretend stuff and what you do is the real thing everyday...that kinda put it in perspective i guess.

but of course in my household we made a big old deal about it, had family and friends over...even dorothy her husband and adorable son nash came over (he was so cute playing with my little ones as the show was completely appropriate for them)...and one of our producer's the other lisa b. and her boyfriend came over...anyway we clapped and cheered not only for my 5 seconds but also to see my name in the credits...silly i know given that some weeks i can be working on live-television for 25 hours! but still it was so much fun and i hope you get to see the episode!

i was wondering how many of you have had your "5 seconds of fame"? would love to hear about your hollywood moments, auditions that type of thing!

thanks for all your funny responses last week!

Was it any coincidence that last night's show received the highest ratings it has ever enjoyed?

In light of who was in it, I'd say no.

it's great that there are still things that you look forward too and enjoy. i hope that never stops, or else life will become too dull.

as for my 5 seconds of fame. hmm, well i have a few. one was attending the wwe "judgement day" pay-perview. i had great seats, and you can see me thoughout the whole dvd if you look closly. it was great being on a dvd for the rest of my life, and to be at a major event.

my other story is similar, but it was a u.f.c. event. matt huges vs. b.j. penn.

well the other stories were more star struck then 5 seconds of fame. but i met glen danzig for the first time. he was really cool, all we talked about was wrestling, mixed martial arts and cartoons. he's exactly like me but way buffer and 2 inchs shorter, which surprised me. then i vince neil, but that was very brief. then there was the time i had lunch with rob van dam. one of my favorite pro-wrestlers. i met him at his comic book store. i just purchased some autograph pic's of other superstar for my sister, and we were just talking. he signed me a copy of his picture, then asked if i was hungry. so we walked down to the food court and ate at subway. greatest moment of my life. he was so cool.

HBO has been a good outfit for production. I have had some film author friends who have told me they were treated very professionally and with great respect unlike some of the other industry scumbags. I have always thought that Lauren Sanchez had tremendous potential for acting in the big screen films, when she isn't goofy. She seems intelligent and to read well her lines. I have always wondered how she would do with completely cold readings. You have also impressed me as a very clean image of a performer and a sharp mind as well. The jump from entertainment newscaster is a big one, a vastly different change, but I hope to see your performance work in the near future in many more shows. You are a pleasant and refreshing view of the same faces on t.v. and the big screen day in and day out, and yes, you come from the San Joaquin Valley or "Big Valley" as they call it, and I loved the people and places there, because they were a wholesome honest bunch of Californian's we hardly ever see in Tinsel Town. Good luck in your career!

regarding putting foot in my mouth...it's in there so much, do you watch our show? one of us usually says something we regret on a daily basis...we're kinda used to it.
hollywood extra's don't have to worry, that was a one time thing, fun and that's about it...i am definetly keeping my day job.
and yes lauren sanchez would be perfect as an actress, she's played a newscaster on numerous occasions in movies, she is lovely! and such a fun girl.
glad you guys liked the news stream updates, we are just trying those, and would really like to hear from you and what you'd like to see in them, we don't want them to be your typically newscast update....i think my next day to do it will be next tuesday from 10-1pm!
that's about it...have a great day

STANDING OVATION - a fabulous job, LisaBreck. I see some interactive dialog next season. Which would certainly be a 'natural' since you 'do' such great entertainment. Keep up the GREAT work! Gerry, a fan in Lomita.

Great job, i thought you did great. My celebrity moment was when i was in the background of Fast and Furious when they were all gathered about to race. You could see my face in the background for 1 whole second, but im still talking about it today, lol. Anyways good job hope to see you in more acting gigs. You and Lauren Sanchez can should in an action movie, sexy reporters by day, butt kicking crime fighters by night.
