All you parents out there---did you or your significant other have any unusual cravings when pregnant?

A friend of mine wanted onions all the time.

I can't even think of eating onions without getting heartburn.

I crave chocolate and fruit.

There's a poll going around our newsroom. Will Sex in the City beat out Indiana Jones?

I've gotten three offers this week from girlfriends to join them for a trip to the movie theatre to see Sex in the City.

What do you think? Indiana Jones or Sex in the City?

For those of you who frequent community pools....do you check to see how often and how well it's cleaned?

Got any good stories?

Got any tricks to stomaching the bills at the store?

A lot of communities in central Florida have homeowners associations.  A lot of people appreciate them, others find them over-zealous.

What do you think?

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS FOX HEALTH STORY?

TOO MUCH STRESS FOR A MOM-TO-BE COULD HAVE A LASTING EFFECT ON HER CHILD.

HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL DOCTORS SAY WOMEN WHO ARE STRESSED OUT DURING PREGNANCY ARE MORE LIKELY TO GIVE BIRTH TO BABIES PRE-DISPOSED TO ALLERGIES AND ASTHMA.

THEY TOLD THE AMERICAN THORACIC SOCIETY ON SUNDAY THAT BABIES BORN TO STRESSED OUT MOMS HAVE HIGH LEVELS OF AN IMMUNE SYSTEM COMPOUND KNOWN AS I-G-E.

THAT INCREASES THE IMMUNE SYSTEM'S RESPONSE TO DUST EXPOSURE.

THE FINDINGS HELD UP EVEN IF THE MOM'S HOME HAS LOW LEVELS OF DUST MITES.

THE STUDY INVOLVED NEARLY FOUR-HUNDRED NEWBORNS.

Have any of you been cutting back on daily life expenditures because of the economy?

I've noticed, I don't go to the grocery store as often now, I think of the higher prices and gas it will cost to get there. Now, I'll wait until my refridgerator is almost bare before going. I'm not sure if it really saves me money, but it makes me feel like I am.

We've had a number of discussions in the newsroom on whether people have had too much fire coverage? What do you think? Too much? Not enough? Just right? How would you like to see the coverage handled?

I've seen an awful lot of people watering their lawns during the day. What's the deal?

It seems like everywhere we turn, people are blaming the economy. Some for good reason. Gas prices, foreclosures, etc....But this weekend, someone told me church attendance was down in some religions, and they blame the economy.

What do you think?

Last night we did a story about people pawning family heirlooms to pay for gas and groceries.

Tonight we're going to have more on what items you can find online and in stores for a great price.

Tv's, i-pods, etc.

I went to an Orlando pawn shop this afternoon and found a woman who was pawning a family heirloom (a necklace her mother had given her) just so she could have some cash to go grocery shopping. This is a working woman who's kids are both in daycare while she works retail. She says she used to be able to make ends meet, but with increasing gas prices and food, she's strapped.

She's not alone. The pawn shop owner told me he hears stories like this daily. Even more so now, from middle class working people.

Have any of you had to go this far just to make ends meet?

We are constantly doing stories about people, and when no one's home, we often talk to some neighbors. But, many times neighbors don't even know who they're living next to.

Do you know your neighbors?

I've been covering this story about a Winter Springs man who needs a double lung transplant. Since we aired his story, dozens of kind-hearted souls have come forward to donate money and time.

Do any of you have a good story about a person in need who was helped by total strangers? It's just facinating how people can come together in a time of need.

I'm a reporter for FOX 35 News. I moved here January 2006 from cold Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's been an exciting new adventure. I still feel as if every weekend is a vacation. Beaches, theme parks, pools. It's all new to me. When friends from up north make wise cracks about the hurricanes I remind them of the 20 below temperatures they have to endure every winter. It's so cold reporters have to use markers instead of ballpoint pens when covering an outdoor story because the ink freezes. Ha. I'm happy to be here and excited to cover the news that matters most to you.
