Engineers for NTTA promise the extension of the Dallas North Tollway through Frisco will be open on September 28th. 

 

 

Is it just me, or do toll projects seem to always get done on schedule while other construction often drag on?

It looks like the new HOV lane on Central expressway in Collin County may be done ahead of schedule.  Will this get Collin County drivers more interested in a carpool?  Will it improve the commute?  Is there anyone out there looking to rideshare?

I've noticed every time it rains in North Texas traffic comes to a halt.  Today it took us over an hour to get from Denton to 635.  Does this happen in all large metro areas or do North Texans have some special issues driving on wet roads?
